Pollyanna&#039;s mother, Polly&#039;s sister, and wife of John Whittier.

Pu'ar is a soft-spoken shapechanging blue creature and the constant companion of Yamcha. The name is revealed to be a pun on Pu-erh tea. Pu'ar is neither a cat or a mouse, albeit the series creator Akira Toriyama stated that he had drawn the character to look a little bit like a cat. Traveling alongside Yamcha, the two worked as a team robbing anyone traveling through the desert area in which they lived. Pu'ar has an innate ability of levitation or flight, and is nearly always seen simply 'standing' in thin air at about human head height.  Pu'ar has the unique ability to shapeshift into any form, even inanimate objects, and can hold that form for as long as desired; his strength is not increased by the change, however, and as such he is unable to turn into something that can be used up like fuel or food. Pu'ar graduated from the same shapeshifting academy as Oolong, although unlike Oolong, Pu'ar had completed all of the academy training and does not have Oolong's difficulties with maintaining a transformed state. Pu'ar shows up quite a bit in the beginning, but becomes less of a presence as the series continues. As the driving theme of the series is mostly about fighting, Pu'ar can do little more than react to the horrors of the latest supervillains in the story.  There is some debate regarding the character's gender. Despite being portrayed by several female voice actors, the character has been referred to with both male and female pronouns during the anime. Though the issue of gender is never directly addressed, Toriyama has referred to Pu'ar as "he" while answering a fan question in the "Ask Me Anything" section in the back of the manga. Some fans believe that since shape-shifters can assume many different forms, gender is a moot point.

A 9-year-old girl who lives in Jingle Village. She rescues Son Goku from the freezing weather that he isn't accustomed to when his plane crashes in the cold northern region. After the Red Ribbon Army saga, she appears later mostly in the anime when Piccolo Daima� destroys a town's celebrations and she was to give the King some flowers. She reappears later on in DBZ when Goku asks for energy. In Dragon Ball GT, she makes her final appearance alongside Android #8 in the episode that Piccolo sacrifices himself to rid of the Black Star Dragon Balls' existence. It is important to note that, not only are her subsequent appearances not canon to the manga (except in the Buu Saga), but that she is only named in the anime as well.

Chi-Chi (チチ, Chichi) is the wife of Son Goku, and the mother of Son Gohan and Son Goten. She is often depicted as a sometimes nagging, overprotective but fundamentally well-meaning woman, who sincerely looks for her children and husband's well-being even when their views clash. She and Goku meet as children, and Goku promises to marry her thinking marriage is food. Several years later, she finds him at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, and despite confessing that he misunderstood what she had meant, he fulfills his promise and asks her to marry him. As she gets older, she disapproves of Goku's lifestyle, enough to ban Gohan from following in his foot steps, but due to the threats like Vegeta and Freeza, she is forced to let him train under Piccolo and Goku. She relaxes this with Goten by training him herself while Gohan is away for school. She has a wild temper and can react in violent anger over the slightest annoyance which means all of the Z Warriors fear her and try to avoid making her mad. A soft-seeming and idealistic crew member, she is really an android copy created by the Solnoid intelligence chief, Catty Nebulart, to monitor the development of the &quot;third race&quot; - the Terrans. She is determined to see the plan come to fruition, and is the only character who survived from the Solnoid-Paranoid War into the human age.    In Gall Force: Earth Chapter Catty is an android built to the specifications found on the Moon of the Catty androids of eons ago. Her personality matches the Catties of former days and searches for a way to end the war between the MME and humans. Her pleas for understanding between the two sides are ignored by both the resistance and Gorn. Shortly before the final battle at the MME citadel Catty passes along valuable information on the MME to the resistance. When Sandy has her fateful confrontation with Gorn Catty is there and may have affected the outcome with her appeals for peace.

Guu&#039;s stomach is a world, filled with buildings, hundred legged cats, and two nice, young people that have been trapped there for ages (but apparently don&#039;t mind their predicament).

Other than Hare, no character seems to be aware of Guu&#039;s strange nature (or for that matter the bizarre circumstances surrounding everything else in the series).

The weird events that occur because of her are only ever acknowledged by Hare. Everyone who is eaten by Guu, only to be spat out later, dismisses what happened as a dream. Hare even dismisses his first time in Guu&#039;s Stomach but is quickly proved wrong.

There are other strange things Guu can do, which defy the laws of physics, logic, and reality, such as (but not limited to) superhuman strength, elongate her body parts, breathe underwater, teleport, time travel, cause people to switch bodies, read minds, cause disco music to play suddenly, switch her face (from a cute face to a weird face), transform into an older version of herself, transform into a giant kaiju monster version of herself, incite mental breakdowns in Hare, though the latter is more of a talent than an actual power and can connect anything to video game controllers and play around with it (even peoples minds).

In one scene Guu hints towards being programmed to do what she does.

A girl who appears to be 13 or 14 years old but in fact is much older, being a vampire. Even though she is a vampire, Miyu isn&#039;t harmed by sunlight, holy water or crucifixes, and her reflection can be seen. Though she does need to drink blood to survive, she chooses her &#039;victims&#039; carefully. She chooses people who have suffered a tragic loss, and offers them their greatest wish &ndash; to be with their lost loved ones, at least in their dreams &ndash; in exchange for their blood. These people live an endless dream state forever.

Lottie had been spoiled since she was born and as a result became a crybaby who would make a fuss if the slightest thing went wrong. Sara is always able to stop her even her worse tantrums -- when she cries that she doesn't have a mother -- because of her stories of the beautiful heaven their dead mothers now live in. As a result, Sara has been dubbed Lottie's mamma in the seminary.

A child whom Nagisa befriends in the midst of the conflict against Big Gold. Nagisa protects Sayoko and her injured mother from a vedim disguised as a police officer, using a bracelet given to her by Iczer-1 for her own protection. Sadly, Sayoko&#039;s mother is later transformed, becoming a vedim herself, and a regretful Nagisa is forced to destroy her to protect Sayoko. Sayoko later encourages Nagisa to fight during the battle against Iczer Sigma, and nearly dies when Iczer-2 attempts to crush her underneath Iczer Sigma&#039;s massive foot. Fortunately, she is saved at the last minute by Iczer-1. Nagisa often refers to her as &quot;Sayo-chan&quot;.

Madame Suimei is one of the employees of Phantom Quest Corp.  Being a fortune teller, she has the innate ability to locate spirits wherever they may be.  Of course, she doesn&#039;t offer her services for free, and much to Ayaka&#039;s chigrin usually demands payment up-front, and Suimei will sometimes go out of her way to avoid Ayaka if she&#039;s delinquent with the funds!

She is a female Saiyan, the wife of Bardock, and the mother of Raditz and Kakarrot (Gokuu). Like other Saiyans, her name is based on that of a vegetable; in this case, the spring onion (葱, negi in Japanese).

Gokuu's mother is mentioned in the original Dragon Ball manga when Raditz tells Gokuu that their parents have died along with planet Vegeta, and later when Vegeta pleas for Freeza's destruction. The character was first introduced in an interview with Akira Toriyama in the March 2014 issue of Saikyō Jump (released in February 2014), and her design was first presented in Dragon Ball Minus, a short story featured in the collected volume of Jaco the Galactic Patrolman (April 4, 2014).
