Keiichi is a student of the Nekomi Institute of Technology and a member of the NIT Motor Club. One day Keiichi accidentally dialed the Goddess Relief Office. Before he could begin to comprehend what on earth was going on the beautiful Goddess Belldandy warped into Keiichi&#039;s dorm to grant him a wish. Convinced his sempais (older classmates) are playing a prank on him as he has no luck with girls, Keiichi wishes for a girl like Belldandy to be by his side forever. Much to his surprise his wish is granted. Ever since, the two have been together. Belldandy&#039;s presence attracted a lot of attention not just in the mortal realm. Even though he may seem indecisive and very shy, when it comes to love he is very reliable.

Ulquiorra is a male arrancar with a melancholic appearance. Ulquiora is the 4th ranked espada. Ulquiorra is also analytical; during his and Yammy's first visit to the human world, he makes several remarks on the humans who confront them. He theorizes that Orihime Inoue's healing power is a temporal-spatial ability, which Aizen describes as the rejection of fate, and comments on how Ichigo Kurosaki's final release can easily get through Yammy's defenses. He also notes Ichigo's power fluctuation, which varies between very weak and stronger than his own. It would appear that Ulquiorra and Grimmjow, the 6th Espada, are not on good terms. While Ulquiorra allowed Yammy to kill anyone he deemed as "trash", which included Ichigo, Ulquiorra allowed him to live based on his belief that Ichigo's power was so turbulent that eventually, he would destroy himself. Grimmjow's conflicting viewpoint was that Ichigo should have been destroyed outright, as he could overcome his weakness and grow even stronger. 

Despite Grimmjow's argument, Aizen trusted Ulquiorra's judgment. This disagreement led to Grimmjow's unauthorized assault on the real world. Though Ulquiorra is of a higher rank than Grimmjow, Grimmjow is confident that Ulquiorra is afraid to fight him for fear of them destroying one another. When released his zanpakutō, Murciélago (黒翼大魔 (ムルシエラゴ) ,Murushierago?, Japanese for "giant black-winged demon," Spanish for "bat") creates two large black wings on his back. His hollow helmet centers atop his head, sporting two large horns, and his arrancar uniform appears more form fitting at the top, becoming robe-like towards the bottom. Additionally, Ulquiorra is apparently unique among the Espada in that he has a second release; Resurrección Segunda Etapa (Spanish for "resurrection second stage"). He becomes more muscular with clawed hands and feet, the whites of his eyes turn black, and his helmet is replaced with elongated horns. He loses his clothes; his arms and legs from the hip down are covered in black fur, and he gains a long thin tail. In both forms he can create long "lances" of energy called Lanza del Relámpago (雷霆の 槍(ラソサ・デ ル ・レ ラソ パ ー ゴ ) ,ransa deru reranpāgo?, Japanese and Spanish for ”lance of the lightning”), and when thrown can cause an explosion. Ulquiorra seems unfamiliar with the technique when he uses it in his second release state, unexpectedly missing Ichigo with his first one, however, to compensate, he can produce more should his first miss the target. Ggio Vega is the smallest member of Barragan&#039;s fracci&oacute;n. The remains of his mask resemble the skull of a sabre-tooth tiger, and are worn like a helmet. He shares a similar attitude to Soi Fon, his opponent in the battle over the fake Karakura town, but Ggio is even more arrogant and enjoys flaunting his perceived superiority as an assassin. His zanpakutō is called Tigre Estoque and is released with the command &quot;bite off&quot; . Its abilities are currently unknown, as mere moments after he releases his second form, Tigre Estoque El Sable he is killed by Soi fon using Suzumebachi.    He appears in the anime from episode 221 to 223.

Hanza Nukui is introduced during The Captain Amagai arc as the leader of the assassination squad under Gyōkaku Kumoi, Ichigo's first Kasumiōji rival, and was the main antagonist during the first half of the Captain Amagai arc. He was formerly part of a clan that served the Kasumiōji clan, but agreed to assassinate Princess Rurichiyo Kasumiōji because he believes that she is not strong enough to lead the clan. He does not seem to possess a Zanpakutō; he and his assassins instead wield interchangeable organic weapons that bond to their arms, known as Bakkōtō, developed by the Kasumioji clan for his and his fellow assassins' use. After seeing Ichigo successfully defeat his assassins several times, he becomes impressed with his strength, and decides to fight him himself. He is forced to withdraw due to Yoruichi's intervention the first time, and later tries again with his subordinates. Despite using his Bakkōtō to imprison Ichigo within an illusion, Ichigo breaks free, and Hanza's Bakkōtō subsequently devoured him.  Hanza primarily wields the Bakkōtō Saiga, which evolves by devouring the spiritual power of its user. It has the ability to momentarily paralyze opponents by reflecting moonlight into their eyes and can create an alternate dimension in which the opponent is left conscious but unable to move. If he channels more reiatsu into the weapon, he can create illusions based on the targets' memories, trapping them until their souls are crushed. At full power, it is able to shoot energy bolts similar to getsuga tenshō blasts. 

Kariya&#039;s former right hand man until he tried to overthrow him as Bount leader.     Utagawa has shorter brown hair, which fans up at the ends, and a large goatee. He seems to dress rather formally, wearing a white button-up shirt, a tie, and a light vest. His golden pocket watch he carries on his vest transforms into his doll, a snake that he wears around his neck.     In the Human World, he consumed a large amount of living souls. During his battle with Yoshino Sōma, it was revealed that, to him, all humans are food. When battling, he seems analytical and not the least taken by his enemy&#039;s abilities. He was the most power-hungry of the Bounts, and wanted to overthrow Kariya for his seat of power. 

While mostly clueless about the way people on earth function, Melan is a kind, calm individual. He is shown to get defensive if anyone harasses or attacks Marin in his sight. He has a soft side for Marin and is able to learn about the world from her. Only after observing Marin for some time, does he come to understand peace. Melan is courageous beyond all definitions of the word and doesn't stop fighting, even when critically injured. He has a strong sense of honor and justice.

Shinbo quickly becomes Hideki's best friend once Hideki moves into the same apartment complex as him. He is quite knowlegdable when it comes to Persocoms, which ends up in Hideki turning to him whenever he needs help with Chii. He has his own Persocom named Sumomo (Plum). He also attends to the same cram school as Hideki, and ends up being involved with his teacher, Takako Shimizu, when he finds her in a park after being locked out by her husband, who was too involved with his own Persocom.

Hap has been a close friend to Holland since their childhood. He is a source of good advice for Holland and helped convince him to leave the military. He got his nickname from his happy smile and easygoing nature. 

Born as Sètanta from a mortal woman, Deichtine, and the Sun God Lugh he's a Hero from the Ulster Cycle of Irish Mythology. He took the name Cú Chulainn after he killed the guard dog of the blacksmith Culann, said to be stronger than 10 men, when he was only a child. To make up to the old blacksmith he offered himself as a guard dog and since then was called Cú Chulainn, "Culann's savage dog".

Trained in the Arts of the Spear and magic Runes by Scáthach, he wields the cursed Gàe Bolg, the spear that inflicts wounds that never heal.

A military man in love with Valentine. His father owned the shipping company that hired Edmond Dant&egrave;s. Though he is socially awkward, he is also strong, courageous and honest.

The class "jock bully", Kunio Murai is not very bright and loses his temper easily. When Eikichi Onizuka arrives at the Holy Forest Academy, Kunio and his gang (consisting of Kouji Fujiyoshi and Tadaaki Kusano) attempt to kill him several times with seemingly innocent pranks, such as a cockroach planted in his school lunch. The plans backfire (such as Kunio eating the cockroach, instead) and he goes insane, nearly ending up with his face impaled on a pair of razor-sharp scissors. Onizuka then takes advantage of Kunio's 27 year-old mother, Julia Murai, after trouncing Kunio at several arcade games. It is later revealed that Julia was carrying her son at the age of 13, and her parents and boyfriend abandoned her, making Kunio overprotective of his mother.

Kunio and his gang befriend Onizuka, after he saves them from a group of ruffians, but not before Onizuka joins the ruffians and has Kunio bungee jump off the Tokyo Bay Bridge. Kunio still gets very angry when Onizuka tries to make a pass at his mother, especially with the possibility that Onizuka may well be his new stepfather. His fear of a new father also rears its head when he suspects his mother may be marrying a man who resembles Dr. Elefun from Astro Boy.

Yamada was a weakling who, like his Kamogawa gym sempai Ippo, was often bullied. He was given the nickname Gero-michi because of his tendency to vomit whenever pushed physically.   However, after joining Kamogawa gym and taking up boxing in the Junior-welterweight class, his self-confidence and physical condition steadily improved.       ~!After developing a bond with Ippo, he moved away and joined Hachinoe gym.  There, he shaved his head and is eyebrows. And gained the nickname &quot;Hammer Nao&quot; because his fists were like hammers.  From there, he dropped down to the Featherweight class and challenged Makunouchi Ippo for the Japanese Featherweight title.  He lost by two-round Knockout.!~

At an age swiftly approaching thirty, Date is an old-timer for a boxer but is nevertheless the man that Ippo looks up to. Years ago, he lost his World Title Match to the champion, Ricardo Martinez, who was defending his title for the 2nd time. He was knocked out in the 2nd round, and among other injuries, got a scar on the bridge of his then-fractured nose.    Date gave up boxing after that in order to settle down with his wife Aiko (a woman from a rich family who sacrificed a lot to be with him, and who just had a miscarriage at that time) and raise a family. But Date was a born boxer -- he found he could not contain his combative nature for long, and after Aiko told him that she wanted their son Yuuji to see his dad fight, he picked his career back up to the top. Date is strong in every way, but his greatest weapon is the Heartbreak Shot, a corkscrew blow to the heart that immobilizes the opponent.      ~!He is the first boxer to have defeated Ippo in the ring, making Kamogawa throw the towel.    After this fateful match, Date went after the WBA title -- a rematch with Ricardo Martinez, who was making his 18th title defense -- but lost by K.O. in the 10th round. Approximately 15 years old when the series begins, Bat is a wandering thief and orphan. He originally resided in a small village run by Toyo, but when the food supply began to run out he left so that the younger orphans could have his share. While wandering he is captured and imprisoned at Lin's village, which is where he meets Kenshiro. Impressed by the strength of Kenshiro, he tags along with him (somewhat by force), believing that this way he will no longer have any trouble finding food. At first, he is depicted as a selfish nuisance, but after a while Bat is shown to be a virtuous person, as evident by his reasons for leaving his home village. Bat is rather cowardly and careless and will often jump to the wrong conclusions, but this masks his kind nature and he is usually willing to help out in a situation when he can. Bat is very good at fixing machines and can also drive, an example being a dune buggy used as transportation throughout the first part of the manga. He looks up to Kenshiro like an older brother, and likewise Kenshiro begins to see him as a younger brother.   ~! After viewing Kenshiro's many death battles, he is able to grow remarkably into an expert martial artist. After the time-skip following Raoh's defeat (the segment which corresponds to the Hokuto no Ken 2 anime series), he is the young leader of a band of resistance fighters known as the Hokuto Army (北斗の軍,, Hokuto no Gun?), fighting against the dictatorship of the Imperial General Jakō. He has also fallen in love with Lin, whom he protects without hesitation. When Lin is kidnapped and taken to the Land of Asura, Bat secretly follows Kenshiro to save her (but does not show up until the end of the arc). After saving Lin, who had had her memory erased so that she falls in love with the first person she sees as result of Kaioh's Shikanhaku point, Bat is prepared to let her see Kenshiro first, but Ken walks off before she can wake up and leaves her with Bat. Before he leaves, he tells Bat "My fate is one of constant battle, you are the only one who can truly make Lin happy".  However, Bat is aware that Lin's feelings for him are not genuine and erases her memory again with his limited Hokuto Shinken knowledge during their wedding. When Kenshiro's memory is erased after a thunderstorm (he assumed that Yuria was the one who erased his memory, so that he can be happy with Lin), Bat poses as him during the fight against the blind Bolge, but is defeated and then tortured by Bolge who believes him to be Kenshiro. Bat is ready to die, so Bolge would think that Kenshiro is dead and no longer search for him. However, Kenshiro and Lin regain their memories and they set off to save Bat. Bolge is killed, but Bat is fatally wounded in the fight. In the very end of the manga, Lin chooses to stay with the (presumed) dead Bat, accepting to reciprocate his feelings out of her free will. When Kenshiro leaves Lin and Mamiya, Bat is then suddenly brought to life. Bat was saved by Kenshiro pressing on his pressure points with the use of Hokuto Shinken. !~

A reticent boy. Along with Rāya, he seems to be part of a running gag in the series as both of them never talk, or are always interrupted when they are about to. (Like having a video interview with everyone, where when their turn came the camera switched to the next person immediately when they open their mouths.)
