A former British Royal Air Force Pilot, Boris is haunted by the ghosts of his former wingmates. He is afraid to sleep with the lights off, for in his sleep, the ghosts of his dead comrades come to visit him in his dreams. In the OAV and the 2004 anime, Boris is shot down and killed by anti-aircraft fire. Boris and Shin are the only pilots in area 88 to fly the F-8 Crusader. Boris appears in all three versions. Houichi is the Kabukichou Boss Cat and rules over the other stray cats. He has a very strict personality and is rough with any newbie. The head butler, who used to be in the special forces, and whose real name is Taijiri Yasushi. He believes himself to be incredibly handsome. In the anime, he frequently parodies other anime series, most notoriously Mobile Fighter G Gundam, as part of an in-joke referring to the fact that his and Ren's voice actors played major roles in that series. There are some hints that point out the Colonel has homosexual tendencies, however this could also be false and used as a device for yaoi innuendo jokes. While very hard on Ren by pushing him to the limit in his butler training, he is in reality an honorable man and believes in Ren. Duke David Mad-thane is the commander of Anatoray&#039;s military defending the regions of Minagith and Norkia. Claus and Lavie&#039;s attempt to cover his fleet&#039;s retreat in the battle at Minagith using only their vanship inspired Mad-thane. Seeing the potential of a vanship in battle, he sponsors the formation of vanship squadrons to act as fighter support in the assault against the Guild. He is portrayed as an optimistic character who wishes for peace, once believing &quot;[t]here is hope yet for the world&#039;s survival&quot; after meeting Disith commander Nestor Messina. Master Asia was the former King Of Hearts after passing his title to Domon. He first became the 12th Gundam Fight Champion for Neo Hong Kong and fights again in the 13th Gundam Fight. Master Asia always trained Domon at a young age. He taught how to become a true fighter and that the warrior's spirit is within your soul. He never gives up and constantly teaches Domon new fighting techniqes.   After meeting Domon in Shinjuku, Master Asia reveals that he is in work with the Devil (Dark) Gundam. He challenges Domon to a higher level like none before and promises him that Domon will become part of the Devil (Dark) Gundam itself. 

The chairman of the PLANT Supreme Council that governs the Coordinator homeland. Although Clyne once worked side by side with Patrick Zala to create ZAFT and win independence for the PLANTs, over the years the two have become political rivals, and Clyne now leads a moderate faction of the Supreme Council which seeks to end the war through peaceful negotiation. Clyne represents the PLANTs of Aprilius City, which specialize in space sciences, and is the father of pop star Lacus Clyne.

Jirocho Wasabi is the head of the Wasabi clan in the Land of Tea, which is a clan warring with the nearby Wagarashi clan. He is depicted as kind, sympathetic, and honest, in contrast to the Wagarashi clan&#039;s leader, Kiroku Wagarashi, who is dishonest and manipulative. Jirocho is also an old friend of Tsunade&#039;s when he appeared to tell Senta and Bunzou that Tsunade&#039;s debt to the Akagi family was paid. He apparently took in Idate Morino after finding him on the streets. While Idate was racing, he expressed great faith in Idate, even to the extent of betting his own life.

He was also Mr. Gigalt's sensei and teacher.   ~!He committed suicide by staying too long outside on the moon in a compression suit, because he believed his leukemia was going to keep him from going out in space again.!~

Professor Nalerof had originally thought that he was working to improve the Gravity Belts keeping the Yietta metropolis afloat. However, he eventually realized that the company he was working for was a dummy and that he was in fact contributing to the efforts of a rogue military faction led by Lord Guizel. His research was being used to turn the gravity belts into what his Elysse would later term &quot;a monstrous nightmare&quot;. Nalerof made an effort to sabotage the Gravity Diffusion Array, locking the controls with a password, but Guizel found out about his plans and sent soldiers to kill him. In a desparate effort, Nalerof took his daughter Elysse and sent her to the surface in an escape pod...just as the soldiers shot him dead.
