Marller was once the childhood friend of the goddesses who are the main characters, though now she's a demon. Urd and Mara used to be very good friends, but got separated when Urd chose to be a goddess.  Though Mara is the arch-rival of the goddesses she likes being with them. Her actual duty is to increase the market share of the demons on earth, her main duty should be signing demonic contracts with humans and her side duties includes ruining the activities of the goddesses, disrupting the efforts of the goddesses and to make them suffer. However, she normally forgets about her main duty and only goes around doing the side duties because she had decided in the very beginning of her appearance that the market share will become 100% when the goddesses are all gone from this part of the market.  Mara has two weaknesses: She can't stand good luck charms and she can't stop dancing when she hears rock music (or disco in the Dark Horse English translation).  Marrler seems more determined and mischievous than fully cruel. She felt abandoned when Urd chose to become a goddess in full, knowing that it would most likely lead to her having to end their friendship. This past situation and her duties as a demon make her have a slight case of tunnel vision in that she seems to regard ruining the lives of the goddesses a top priority. Despite this she does seem to enjoy the company of the goddesses whenever the opportunity to hang out with them presents itself.  In the TV series, Marller is revealed to suffer from insecurity and self doubt due to her inability to increase the demons' market share (due in no small part to the goddesses' presence), to the point of bringing her to tears when Urd tells her that she has no talent.  You may see Mara referred to by a number of other names, such as Marller or Marla. Marller is how Mr. Fujishima romanizes her name whenever her name is written out in roman characters, and Marla is how it sounds like when a Japanese speaker pronounces it and is also the romanization used by Geneon Animation for the Mini-Goddess series. In Buddhism Mara is also the name of a demon who tempted Gautama Buddha by trying to seduce him with the vision of beautiful women. Similarly in the series, Mara uses such tactics on Keiichi in her first appearance by using Sayoko to distract him from Belldandy. Former bad guy, Kodoh decides to be with Hitto's side than work for Saionji. He compliments Nana in one of the episodes. When the time comes for searching for the 7 legendary b-ders and foiling Saionji's plans of taking over the world, he always first appears when the guys are really going to be smashed.Also one of the 7 legendary b-ders, which kind of surprised the others.

Kai appears in the series as a "bad boy". Takao and Kai hate each other at the very beginning when they meet; Kai hates Takao because he loses the battle in front of him and because he thinks Takao is very picky, annoying and immature. Takao doesn't hate Kai, as he only wants to be one of Kai's friends, but that proves difficult, because of Kai's attitude to beyblading and life in general. With time, Kai became a BladeBreaker accepting Rei, Max, Takao &amp; Kyouju as his partners.   Being a natural leader, he is the leader of the Blade Sharks (which he leaves), BladeBreakers, Demolition Boys (Neo-borg). Betraying his friends countless times, it seems that the only thing that Kai wants is power, though, later, his reasons morph into wanting to beat Takao and only him. Having a hard childhood and no social contact have made him completely cold and indifferent to other people, though he begins to open up little by little.    But mostly, he's the kind of guy that always stays cool and quiet. That proves to be hard with Takao around whom he later sees as one of his closest friends. He develops certain friendships with his other team members but all in all his best friend would have to be Takao. 

The lady who first gets Beck into Greatful Sound (chapter 23, page 10) (with some &quot;help&quot; from Leon Sykes&quot; (chapter 24)) she is also the woman who gets the band into contact with their first label, the indie label &quot;Lust For Life&quot; (Beck: Mongolian chop Squad chapter 43, page 40-45).

A contractor who started her own religion intended for those like herself. Pursued by the Syndicate for killing one of their operatives, her congregation is in danger of being brought down. It is she who first brings to light what contractors really are and how they differ from normal humans, this truth being the reason why she started her religion. Her contract is the ability to transform her physical appearance to match a target exactly at the cost of her longevity. Thus, because of her skills, she had been utilized as an infiltrator and assassin. Though young in appearance to her followers, her true form is that of an elderly woman due to extensive use of her contract. She later exhibits emotions unlike a contractor where she truly wished to create a haven for her fellow contractors. She relayed her past and ambitions to Hei as her last message, accepting her fate, which in of itself was not befitting of a contractor to do so, since she could&#039;ve prolonged her life by escaping.

She is originally from Tokyo. She's part of the Tsukikage teather group and works part-time as a waitress, Very close to Maya, thinking Maya as her little sister. She is tall and beautiful, but somewhat boyish, and that's why she is ofen mistaken to be a boy and has lots of female fans.

Musashi possesses a sense of fair play and he is a honorable fisherman. He always cares for mother nature like BB and Masatsugu. He couldn't think of closer friends than Mio and Suguru.

Sasorina is one of the Desert Apostles, and the first to appear before the heroines. She speaks with a foreign accent and can use her hair as a scorpion tail with poison.   Most of the time, Sasorina has a calm aura around her, and always carries a smirk unless panicking or provoked. When provoked, she loses her calm personality and gets angry. Sasorina looks down on weak people, but will acknowledge strong foes.   Her name is deprived from sasori, meaning 'scorpion'. Belarus is the younger sister of Ukraine and Russia. She is described as being "a very pretty girl" by Russia, and "strong yet cute" by Lithuania. She has a very strange infatuation with her brother, Russia, so much to the point where she wants him to marry her. Belarus often sticks by his side, seeming as though she does this to intimidate those around them, almost as if saying, "Back off. He's mine." This love is never returned, however, seeing as how Russia is deathly afraid of her and has no intentions of making her his wife. Lithuania, on the other hand, loves Belarus. Belarus happens to hate Lithuania very much, a hatred that apparently goes back to when they were kids in which Belarus had been separated from Russia for some time thanks to Lithuania.   

Despite her appearance, Belarus is very intimidating, harsh, and somewhat insane. Her favorite thing to read is the once-active Soviet newspaper, Pravda, and her favorite type of music is that of the rock genre. It has also been shown that she wields a knife as her weapon and that she loves the occult.

Illumi is [Killua](https://anilist.co/character/27/Killua-Zoldyck)'s eldest brother. He is an experienced assassin, whom along with his father was responsible for Killua's training and upbringing. During the Hunter Exam, Illumi masked his appearance and used an alias, using special pins to change his entire facial structure to the point where he could only be recognized by his voice. His oppressive evil aura makes even Killua fearful and wary whenever he approaches Illumi.

The protagonist of the series. He is still a young boy when he becomes lost in the forest of Seeonee. He lost his biological parents when they went out searching for him and fell to their deaths from a cliff, and into a river, after a panther named Bagheera unintentionally frightens them. Alexander, adopts him as a son and raises him as a wolf. Mowgli appears to be somewhere between the ages of 6 and 10 during the course of the show, though the first episode shows him as a toddler. He&#039;s an adventurous, fun-loving, outgoing boy. But he also goes through a sort of identity crisis, struggling to figure out just what he really is and where he really belongs.

Hanashima Atora is a demon tamer and a member of the Night Troop. She was Gen Shishio&#039;s trainer, and commands a small army of demons in battle. Atora is very friendly, affectionate, and informal, but also very outspoken. This is usually very embarrassing for her friends: within minutes of meeting Yoshimori, she compliments his cooking, but then mentions (rather loudly) that she and Gen used to bathe together. Zeon (Zeno in the English version) is a mamono who looks exactly like Gash Bell, save for his pastier colors and purple eyes. His spells are the same as Gash&#039;s, only more powerful; additionally, Zeon does not lose consciousness during the spells and thus knows what he is doing while they are being cast. His cloak also has magical abilities, allowing him to protect himself and his bookkeeper if he gets in trouble, and to teleport himself and his bookkeeper to another location. He is very powerful, malevolent and evil, and bears a strong hatred towards humans but more importantly towards Gash.  Dufaux (Dufort in the English version) is his bookkeeper. He&#039;s very silent and reserved, almost to the point of having no emotion, and he has psychic abilities.  Zeon is revealed to be Gash&#039;s twin brother and the cause of his amnesia. It is revealed in the manga that their father is the king of the Makai (mamono world): an electric elemental who possessed the ultimate power known as &quot;Baou&quot;. When twins were born to him and his wife, the &quot;Baou&quot; power was inherited down to Gash, making them fear for what would happen to him when he finally awakens it, as well as the jealousy of his brother when he found out. To protect both brothers, Gash was sent away to live like a commoner, forced into near servitude by his foster mother and consistently teased and taunted by his classmates at a private school. Meanwhile, Zeon was forced to undertake a harsh, military training. When the silver-haired child found out about both his brother and the &quot;Baou&quot; power, he grew resentful, believing that this twin he never met would hold his father&#039;s ultimate ability without understanding the implications. With both children referred for the Mamono Fight, Zeon continued his preparations, training his body as well as reading of certain items and artifacts that would assist him when sent to the human world.  By the time Zeon was sent to take part in the Mamono Fight, he took action in order to guarantee both his own victory and his brother&#039;s ultimate misery. After finding his bookkeeper, he tracked down Gash to a forest in England, where he was living peacefully with the local fauna. Without saying who he was, Zeon brutally attacked the golden-haired lookalike, both physically abusing him and using his own spells to smash him down. But instead of burning his book, where he would instantly go home to his family and live peacefully in the makai, he decided to remove his memories to force him to be stuck wandering around this strange, human world without any friends or any idea who he was. Shortly thereafter, Gash was found by Seitaro Takamine, who eventually sent Gash to Japan, so that Seitaro&#039;s son, Kiyomaro, could try to find out Gash&#039;s origin, as well as to benefit Kiyomaro&#039;s personality.  Zeon took interest in the immense tower of Faudo from the moment it first arrived in the human world, having done research on the locked away force within in the libraries of his home. After extensive preparation, he immediately took action, leading on Kiyomaro and Gash towards the tower by use of a doll-like emissary that told them of the danger about to be revealed. However, while using his brother to help awaken the tower for Riou, all of his works was for his own ambition. Once Faudo was resurrected, Zeon challenged Riou in battle, upon which he immediately crushed him, sent him back and took over his control jewel. While he doesn&#039;t divert Faudo from its original mission (the destruction of Japan, as instructed by Riou), Zeon awakens the full capability of the beast, giving guardians inside new life and using its power to upgrade many of the mamono previously fighting under Riou. All of these would give the remaining mamono inside one difficult challenge after another as they moved upwards towards the destined showdown with him and Dufaux.  His book was burned by Gash, but under radically different circumstances in the manga than in the anime, although in both versions the book is burned as a result of a struggle between Gash&#039;s Bao Zakeruga and Zeon&#039;s Jigaridasu Uruzakeruga. He is resentful of Gash to the end in the anime, breaking the jewel that controls Faudo out of spite. In the manga, Zeon becomes aware that Gash had as hard a childhood as he did, and regrets his own foolishness. The jewel breaks due to the strain of their fight. As they are twins, his father original power is divided by two, Zeon gave his power to Gash so that Bao will be completed to help defeat Faudo. The muscular, silent, micloned Zentradi is the drummer for the band Fire Bomber. Little is known of her past as she rarely speaks. Veffidas can usually be seen drumming on something (tables, monitors, tin cans or jet engines) to pass the time, sometimes as audio cues for events in the episode, like using the intro for Planet Dance for Basara's launches. She seldom speaks, but when she does it is almost always a short sentence that has great meaning and impact. She joins Sound Force along with her bandmates, and sits in the back seat of Ray's customized VF-17. Her drumming in Sound Force is as powerful as the singing of Basara and bassist Mylene Flare Jenius, and she also shows talent with the guitar.

An air sprite from the Dark Art Society. He is the iffy guide on Nike and Kukuri&#039;s quest, popping in and out whenever he feels like it (he tends to disappear without a trace whenever a dangerous situation plays out). His cape can also enlarge into a conical tent during nighttime for the heroes to rest in - this bares his near-naked lower body for the inhabitants, and it creates a recurring comical situation as the heroes don&#039;t want to look upwards when they sleep in the tent.
