One of a pair of PKs, alongside Asta, that showed Haseo how to play The World before attempting to PK him. He and Asta were PKed themselves by Ovan and this lead to their encounter, though it is speculated that Ovan himself hired them both. They later encountered Haseo and were PKed by him as a result.

Little is seen of this vampire. He is very skilled with a sword and refers to Jiro as his pupil. He is also a guardian of the Dark Princess of the North.

Former IBI detective, Sven is now a sweeper, and Train's partner. He also takes Eve in as a sort of daughter after the events at Torneo's place. Sven's outlook is much calmer and more logical than Train's; he often has to use his brain to win battles since he doesn't possess the Black Cat's pure physical power. He follows a strict "gentlemen's code", which often makes him seem older to other characters.   The Forseeing Eye (under the eyepatch) allows him to glimpse into the future at the cost of great mental strain. In the manga, it eventually evolves into the Glasper Eye which can manipulate time. He otherwise fights with a briefcase filled with gadgets.

Kurasawa Gai is Japan&#039;s number one detective.  Formerly known as Matsukichi Gai, he was a police officer who quit the force to start his own detective agency.  He uses unorthodox methods to solve mysteries and crimes, afraid of cats, has horrible body odor and athlete&#039;s foot, and is struggling financially. Is a naval officer of Anatoray and a friend of Alex Row and Sophia Forrester. Initially appointed Admiral of Anatoray's fleet, he was relieved of his command after Alex sank four out of five of his Urbanus ships. Despite this, he respects Alex, knowing his strengths in combat and strategy (they were in the Officers' Academy together; indeed, before the battle, Vincent met Alex to try to persuade him to keep the Silvana out of battles). A great lover of coffee, Vincent likes to enjoy life. But when duty calls, he's not about to sit back either. When Sophia was imprisoned by her father and about to be killed by a guard, he barges into her room and saves her. Some of his dialogue also hints at a romantic interest in Sophia, despite her obvious affections for Alex. With her command as Empress, Vincent resumed his command as Admiral, this time leading his ships into a grand battle together with Disith against the Guild.

Red-Haired Shanks is a legendary and powerful pirate in the Grand Line, being the captain of the Red-Haired Pirate Crew. Furthermore, he is Monkey D. Luffy's childhood hero. Overall, he is greatly respected by most of the characters, despite having a 'soft' and friendly nature and never appearing in actual combat ~!until he started a fight with Whitebeard.!~ As a whole, he does not make many appearances in the series, although he appears in a majority of the opening or closing themes of the anime.  Shanks always wears a long black cape over his shoulders and until he met Luffy, wore a straw hat that he had worn for many years beforehand. He always wears trousers that are cut below the knee as well as a pair of sandals. The most striking thing about Shanks is the colour of his red hair, of which his nick-name 'Red Haired Shanks' comes from. ~!He also has three scars across his left eye, which were given to him by Blackbeard a long time ago.!~ He has a missing left arm, that he had lost when he saved Luffy from a Sea King. Shanks and his crew are almost always seen partying and drinking alcoholic beverages whenever they make an appearance as the Captain's favourite pastimes are attending and hosting parties and banquets.  According to Oda, Shanks is the one character that resembles himself the most out of all the One Piece characters, because of his fun-loving partying nature.

Kenji Harima is the male protagonist, an ex-delinquent who loves Tenma. Although he does not practice any specific martial arts style, few people are able to match him in hand-to-hand combat. He has the ability to communicate with animals, and possesses a wide variety of strange and exotic pets which he named after European monarchs. He has a little brother, Shuuji, who likes Yakumo.  Harima struggles often to confess to Tenma, though he knows she has absolutely no feelings for him and may even dislike him. Every time Harima finds the courage to tell Tenma his true feelings, something happens which prevents him from succeeding. Harima also must deal with situations involving his classmate Eri, unaware of the fact that she does not know whether to like or dislike him. He gets extremely jealous seeing Karasuma and Tenma together, but his attempts to put a stop to that usually end up bringing them closer. Ironically, Harima admires Nijō jō(二条丈) the mangaka, which is Karasuma's pen name. To date, Tenma has yet to hear his confession properly. He also works as a mangaka, having Yakumo as his assistant, creating another source of misunderstandings, as it took a long time for Tenma to realize that their relationship is only professional, at least by Harima's side.   ~!In the manga School Rumble Z last chapter, Harima is seen walking in the hospital room (where the Karasuma is) together with Eri, who is holding a baby and with a blushing face. !~

After being locked up, he was given a chance to live in a boy's body and took it, returning to the world and is constantly seeking a way to retrieve his lost body.

Kenji Kyoubate is the divorced husband of Aya Katsuragi and biological father of Maki Katsuragi. Kenji is tall and gaunt. He has short disheveled black hair and wears slightly curved rectangular shaped lightly tinted sunglasses. Kenji acts in a crude and intimidating fashion, especially towards his son Maki Katsuragi. He's abusive, noted as taking delight in and enjoying abusing his son both physically and mentally. He's a trashy man as stated by himself, and is a horrible person all around.

A captain of a merchant vessel. He is an ideal 'seaman,' as he is both a brave fighter and a merchant with high business skill.
