She is an athletic girl who plays basketball and is often seen together with Makie, Ako, and Akira (a.k.a. the Sports clubs group). Her father is Professor Akashi, one of the Mage-teachers at the Academy. Yuna is the most mischievous one amongst the sports girls.  Her pactio items are basketballs and a pair of shoes allowing her to jump very high.  Yuna's surname, Akashi, comes from the Japanese city of the same name in Hyōgo Prefecture.   In the manga, she is depicted to have black hair. In both anime series, her hair is depicted to have a shade of brown; in the Mahou Sensei Negima! series, her hair is somewhat close to sandy taupe; in Negima!?, her hair is colored brown. Sana is the main protagonist of the series. He left Sakuranomori during his childhood, and during the beginning of the series he comes back to live by himself in the apartment building owned by Aoi's parents.   ~!He was bullied in school after moving to another city. Kimie is Takako's personal assistant and as such, she follows the student council president around almost all the time. When they are not together, Kimie will go around investigating various matters and report back to Takako. Much like Takako, she has a very serious personality and would not stop at sticking up for Takako when need be.
