Tomo Takino is extremely energetic and competitive, despite being nonathletic and a slacker at the same time. She tends to irritate everyone around her, especially Yomi, who has been her classmate since elementary school. Tomo's character is extremely impulsive and never considers nor cares about the consequences of anything she says or does. However, on the occasions when Tomo has actually been inspired to concentrate on something, she has demonstrated that she is quite capable. She succeeded in gaining the grades needed to qualify for the same high school as Yomi, though Yomi ridiculed her and openly said that there was no way that she could do so. In the Manga Appears once in the manga during a special chapter which occurred after the events of the main story. She was shown in a single panel serving Sven and co. as a waitress.  In the Anime Tanya is a waitress that Sven met once before. By pure coincidence, Tanya constantly switches jobs and moves to different cities at around the same time that Train, Sven and Eve arrive at that same city. She is a constant source of free food for Train and company, as she allows Sven to put most meals "on his tab" and gives bread crusts (sometimes deep-fried) to Train. She usually calls Eve Sven's daughter. 

The mysterious young girl who followed Cou and the others from Milliard Trey. On the surface, she is a bright, cheerful girl who is very sociable. Undernearth, she is a lump of insecurities. In both the manga and anime, she appears to have a crush on Cou, but this is more exaggerated in the anime. In the manga, she instead develops a closer relationship with Rowen.

Maes Hughes&#039;s wife, and Elicia Hughes&#039;s mother, she is a kind and caring person. Gracia appears peripherally throughout the series and allows Winry to stay at her house when she is in Central and Sheska to frequently visit.   In the manga, it is revealed that she and Hughes met before he was sent out to the battlefield during the Ishval War.     

Kasane, a survivor of the Shishigou incident, is Asumi's childhood friend. Because of the crash, she has a horrible burn mark on her left arm. In the present, Kasane goes to an all-girls school. A lonely rich girl Kokoro encounters while on holiday. She suffers from the same unspecified sickness her late mother had. Rita (Japanese: レイコ　Reiko) is a character of the day who appeared in the episode The Lotad Lowdown. She is the eldest sister of Nicole  and Natalie. She is usually in charge of fixing the waterworks of the garden of the Flower shop. Her Japanese voice actress is Tomoe Hanba and her English voice actress is Amy Birnbaum.    As Rita entered the shop, she was quite surprised by Ash and his friends visiting them. Rita told her sisters that there was a problem with one of the watering pipes of the garden. After the group finished touring around the garden, Rita told Nicole that she needed to replace the broken watering pipe.
