Chi is just your average little mackerel-stripe kitten, who lost her mother and is taken in by the Yamada family. She is finding out about the world, the good (sushi) and the bad (the vet). In one of her little journeys, she meets a big cat, which becomes a sort of &quot;mom&quot; to Chi. Chi is very stubborn, and likes to play.  She&#039;s also very affectionate and loud, which is not good because cats are forbidden in the apartment complex where the Yamadas live.

Ushio is [Tomoya](https://anilist.co/character/4606) and [Nagisa](https://anilist.co/character/4604)'s daughter. She is a well-behaved, well-loved girl who is very curious about the world around her. Tomoya notes that she does not act like other girls her age. For example, most girls would want to have dolls; however, when Tomoya goes on a trip with her, he buys her a robot with which she is fascinated. Tomoya, finding it strange that she would prefer this type of toy, learns that Ushio has some interest in robots; thus he also calls her "boyish". Ushio also appears to like baseball. Ushio's interest has been influenced by her grandfather who teaches her to imitate famous baseball players. She refers to [Akio](https://anilist.co/character/7095) as "Akii" and calls her grandmother by her given name "Sanae".

In the few earlier episodes of the stories, Ushio stays with [Sanae](https://anilist.co/character/6831) and Akio. During her time with her grandparents, she learns to be a baseball addict like Akio, Ushio also learns strict disciplines from Sanae not to cry unless it is in the restroom.

~!As the story progresses on with Tomoya's recovery, she starts to live with her father. As she lives with her father, she later becomes friends with [Fuuko](https://anilist.co/character/4601), the sister of her mother's old teacher, [Kouko](https://anilist.co/character/6971). Due to the lack of time Tomoya can spend with Ushio, she sneaks out of her father's house to view a hospital she refers as "pleasant." Asahi Sakurai is anime and manga fan by day and a famous idol by night. She is the seiyū of Card Master Peach, the main character of the popular anime in the Comic Party world. Even though she is an idol, she is nervous around people so she often stutters and forgets what she was going to say. Asahi disguises herself with eyeglasses and a hat when she wants to enjoy the public without a crowd around her which quickly forms when her identity is revealed. Asahi's role in the first Comic Party anime adaption is limited since she does not interact with the main protagonist. Instead, she is only heard on the radio and briefly seen singing at a concert.

107th Devil Hunter and Yohko&#039;s grandmother. At first she tried to protect Yohko&#039;s virginity for making her 108 one, and then she trains her and helps with her wisdom. However, Madoka is not your average wise granny, she likes to quarrel with Sayoko, her daughter, and when she obtains young body during the 5th episode, she wants to use it to play around in.

&quot;Menchi&quot; is the name given to a small, stray female dog that Excel finds in the street in episode 1 of the anime and decides to bring home with her as an &quot;emergency food supply&quot;. Menchi spends most of the series trying to escape from both Excel and Hyatt (who despite her personality, also sees Menchi as only food rations) and even succeeds on a few occasions, but always manages to cross paths with Excel later on and ends up recaptured. While Menchi can&#039;t speak aloud, she is shown to understand human language and is absolutely terrified of both Excel and Hyatt, for obvious reasons. Throughout episode 10, Menchi has frequent flashbacks of her previous owner, and longs to find him and be happy once more. Through these flashbacks, it is shown that the old man set Menchi free because he was worried about his own limited time on this earth... it&#039;s not until later, however, that she abandons this hope after the old man betrays Menchi and her canine companions, reluctantly returning to Excel and Hyatt at the end of the episode. Ruby is Meimi's pet Hedgehog. Her manga introduction is half way through the story, while her anime appearance is quite early in the series. She was bought by a man who forced her to swallow a gem. Saint Tail then steals Ruby from the man to protect the gem inside of her. Ruby also knows Meimi is Saint Tail, and has even been on a previous caper with her, although Meimi has to keep Ruby hidden from Asuka Jr. so he won't recognize her from the previous caper she was in. 

More a human mascot than a full-fledged character, Takeda is a phallic caricature (literally) of an awkward horny early teenage boy, the only character always drawn deformed, and the primary generalist pervert. While other boys (and girls) list certain deviancies among other traits, he is the walking embodiment of a pervert, and his varied perversions are his only trait.  In the few scenes where he isn't leering, peeping, fapping, taking voyeur pics, groping, or ineptly trying to pick girls up, other character's disbelief that he is actually doing something normal is a common source of comic relief.
