Anthy&#039;s pet (whom she will only refer to as friend, but may be more properly described as a familiar). He is a small marmoset who acts as comedic relief. However, he also acts as an omen of bad fortune in certain episodes. Ruby is Meimi's pet Hedgehog. Her manga introduction is half way through the story, while her anime appearance is quite early in the series. She was bought by a man who forced her to swallow a gem. Saint Tail then steals Ruby from the man to protect the gem inside of her. Ruby also knows Meimi is Saint Tail, and has even been on a previous caper with her, although Meimi has to keep Ruby hidden from Asuka Jr. so he won't recognize her from the previous caper she was in. 

&quot;Menchi&quot; is the name given to a small, stray female dog that Excel finds in the street in episode 1 of the anime and decides to bring home with her as an &quot;emergency food supply&quot;. Menchi spends most of the series trying to escape from both Excel and Hyatt (who despite her personality, also sees Menchi as only food rations) and even succeeds on a few occasions, but always manages to cross paths with Excel later on and ends up recaptured. Episodes 10 and 19 in particular are focused almost exclusively on Menchi, both episodes being modeled after children&#039;s stories about talking or otherwise extraordinary animals. The earliest record of Menchi is a flashback in the anime, showing her previous owner - a kindhearted old man who may or may not have taken care of her in lieu of younger owners. Throughout episode 10, Menchi has frequent flashbacks of her previous owner, and longs to find him and be happy once more. Through these flashbacks, it is shown that the old man set Menchi free because he was worried about his own limited time on this earth... it&#039;s not until later, however, that she abandons this hope after the old man betrays Menchi and her canine companions, reluctantly returning to Excel and Hyatt at the end of the episode. Her reason in doing so is debated, however, as she continues to makes numerous escape attempts throughout the rest of the series. A second year transfer student. Wataru Hoshino meets her at Takashi&#039;s bar while he&#039;s drunk. They chat and then leave. The next morning, Wataru awakes to find her asleep in his room wearing only bra and panties. She wakes, he tells her he can&#039;t remember a thing from the night before, she slaps him and leaps from his second story window.    She officially enters his school, joining his class and dorm the next day. She acts sullen and obstinate to both students and faculty. She skips the welcome party that the other dorm residents arrange for her, telling them that she doesn&#039;t want to make friends and face the pain of parting with them in only a years&#039; time. Wataru shouts to her his vow to that he will force her to become friends with them.    Takashi informs Wataru that he and Rinna first met in his bar. Realizing that Rinna&#039;s general aloofness eminates from his having forgotten about her, he challenges her to compete with him in the upcoming school marathon to settle the matter. If he wins, she will participate in dorm meals, and if she wins, he will leave the dorm.  Wataru arrives at the marathon exhausted, but takes a shortcut during the run and arrives first at the finish line. A fellow Dragoon who knows Zefiris, and took part in the Genesis Wars but, unlike Zefiris, lost most of her powers. To survive, she inhabits an ancient battle-vehicle, the Skid, as part of her body. Her personality is also cold and unfeeling, like the Peacemakers. Natalie does not consider herself a Dragoon anymore, even though, technically, she is still a Dragoon. Once, when Zefiris remarked that her methods were too forceful; the Dragoons were in the sealed world of Providence to be the Providence Breaker's Guardians against the Peacemakers, and to help humans. Natalie replied - in a rather unconcerned manner - (I am no longer a Dragoon. But we Dragoons need not go out of our way to help those foolish humans). After failing in her first mission, she is given an additional form (Unit 2), that of a perky, young cat-girl. In the original manga, only one Ropponmatsu unit is active at any one time; the reason for this is later revealed to be that there is only one central &quot;core&quot; that is switched between the two bodies. Kabapu attests that the core contains the soul of the princess of the lost civilization of Solaria, and he has had the Ropponmatsu body created to house it as part of his plan to destroy all remaining traces of Solaria&#039;s technology. Conversely, the anime (produced before this revelation occurred in the manga), has the Ropponmatsus appearing as two distinct entities who frequently cooperate on important tasks. Although they have a tendency to be destroyed on their missions, Shiouji keeps a lot of spares, which play a large role in the penultimate episode of the series). Mo&eacute;-chan is an automaton with broken legs, built more than 100 years ago and bought by Tokyo Imperial University while she was on display at the Paris World's Fair in 1900. Urashima Keisuke purchased her from the university in hopes of repairing her.    Mo&eacute;-chan was a great friend of Keisuke, Granny Hina's father and great-grandfather to Keitaro and Haruka. Keisuke had promised to fix Mo&eacute;-chan's legs; but like Keitaro, Keisuke had a poor memory and eventually forgot about Mo&eacute;-chan. Keitaro would later make the same promise to fix her. With the help of the Hinata residents, particularly Kaolla's help, he ultimately fulfilled his promise and Mo&eacute;-chan was able to walk again.

Mew, Psychic-type legendary Pokemon    Mewtwo Strikes Back, Mew made a couple cameo appearances at the start of the movie. A Mewtwo was cloned from Mew&#039;s DNA, extracted from Mew&#039;s eyelash. Later, Mew started appearing around New Island while Mewtwo was testing his starter Pok&eacute;mon clones. Mew followed Team Rocket into the main part of the island so it could stop Mewtwo from destroying the world. After the end credits of the movie, Mew is shown flying to the mountains.      In Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, another Mew first appeared as a Taillow, landing on Cameran Palace and then transforming into Treecko. It then transformed into an Aipom to play with Ash&#039;s Pikachu. Ash and the others released their Pok&eacute;mon to play with what they thought was an Aipom.     After taking them to an attic, Kidd Summers sent her two Weavile after it. To escape, it teleported itself, along with Pikachu and Meowth. It then transformed once again into a Pidgeot and flew the Pok&eacute;mon to the Tree of Beginning. While Ash and the others were looking for Pikachu, Mew kept it entertained with toys.     Mew also nearly sacrificed itself to save the Tree of Beginning. Lucario stepped in and was able to save Mew, but ended up sacrificing itself. Asahi Sakurai is anime and manga fan by day and a famous idol by night. She is the seiyū of Card Master Peach, the main character of the popular anime in the Comic Party world. Even though she is an idol, she is nervous around people so she often stutters and forgets what she was going to say. Asahi disguises herself with eyeglasses and a hat when she wants to enjoy the public without a crowd around her which quickly forms when her identity is revealed. Asahi's role in the first Comic Party anime adaption is limited since she does not interact with the main protagonist. Instead, she is only heard on the radio and briefly seen singing at a concert.

Ushio is [Tomoya](https://anilist.co/character/4606) and [Nagisa](https://anilist.co/character/4604)'s daughter. She is a well-behaved, well-loved girl who is very curious about the world around her. Tomoya notes that she does not act like other girls her age. For example, most girls would want to have dolls; however, when Tomoya goes on a trip with her, he buys her a robot with which she is fascinated. Umagon (Ponygon in English dub) is a mamodo who resembles a small horse, donkey or a sheep according to Kiyomaro's friends. Umagon can only speak "Meru meru mee". Umagon's real name is "Schneider," as it is revealed in the flashbacks that his mother calls him so. Umagon is seen many times throughout the series following Gash Bell around, but he was not officially introduced until episode 23.   His human partner is Kafka Sunbeam.  In the manga, Umagon discovers Gash at the end of his trip in England, but the anime introduced Umagon in Japan earlier to show him off while following him and Kiyomaro to England to follow with manga continuity.

Three girls (known as A-Ko, B-Ko, and C-Ko), seen only in silhouette, who spend about thirty seconds per episode energetically commentating on its events in symbolic allegory. Their antics provide both comic relief and insight into the show's plot. While they function much like a Greek chorus, their primary influence is shadow puppetry.
