Akira wants to be the Greatest Commander of Battle Robots and win the Titan Belt, a great honor. In the night before his Commander registration, he dreamt that he won the Titan Belt. The next day he and his team, Team Akira, resolve that they, at any cost, will defeat the opposing team at the Commander registration match.  Unfortunately, they must have at least 4 robots to compete and they had only 3. But somehow he manages to enter. When he was losing, his Grandpa sends him his 4th robot, Daigunder. After the match, Daigunder transforms into his mini-form, Ryuga. They both start fighting as to who performed better and turn out to be the bitterest of enemies. But as the series progress, we find that they turn out to be the best of friends.  Akira is a kind and courageous boy. If he sees any of his robots in danger, he jumps in the middle of the fight without a second thought. Akira and Ryuga's partnership is admirable throughout the series. When Daigunder was controlled by Dragon Buster to destroy Akira, he played on his life to save Daigunder.

He is an orphaned street kid who survived on the streets by hustling adult basketball players with his phenomenal skills. He was selected to the Earth All-Star team because of his superhuman speed.

Though he usually fakes being polite to others, young Suguru is quite similar to his cousin, Tohma Seguchi, despite his unfortunate proclivity for being controlled by others. While only sixteen years old, but he has incredible talent - and knows it. Suguru knows Eiri Yuki&#039;s past as well, but it seems that Yuki also knows a bit about Suguru himself: he has commented before about Suguru &quot;hiding his real identity&quot;.

The World Amateur Champion is a handsome boxer from Russia who excels at outboxing and taking points, but adopts a vicious infighting style when he moves to Japan (Ippo notices how depressed he looks after this happens). Raised by a single mother in a small town near to St. Petersburg, Volg originally takes up boxing in order to provide medical assistance for his seriously ill mom (who coincidentally looks a lot like Hiroko Makunouchi, but with longer and reddish hair), but after consecutive losses to both Ippo and Sendou, he is forced to leave the Otawa Gym and return to Russia, staying by his mother&#039;s side until her death. Besides his incredible outboxing technique, Volg&#039;s greatest weapon is a vertical combination called &quot;White Fang&quot; (a short, quick left uppercut, followed by an incredibly fast and powerful chopping right). Volg later returns to Japan to get his old boxing gloves from Ippo before he goes to America, and ends up helping Ippo train for his upcoming match against Sawamura Ryuhei. Currently Volg is in America fighting at the world stage and, under the training of Dankichi Hama, is the 4th ranked IBF Jr. Lightweight fighter. His personality is very humble and polite, though he&#039;s a very good boxer, Volg admits that he doesn&#039;t really like boxing as it hurts other people but only does it so he can help his ill mother back home but finally comes to realize he has passion for boxing. There was also a running gag at the beginning, related to his rusty Japanese. When Ippo met Volg when he couldn&#039;t read kanji in the subway, and few minutes after their first conversation he got in trouble with other native Japanese people for the very same reason.

This mischievous little guy doesn’t like anything but himself, and he doesn’t mind saying so. So good at being bad! (But a nice guy deep down?) In Japanese "badtz" (batsu) is a term for "X", the cross signifying a wrong answer. "Maru" means circle or "O", and signifies a correct answer. Thus, his name literally means "wrong-correct," and is frequently represented by "XO". Badtz-Maru has many different facial expressions and poses, but he is classically recognized for pulling one eye down and sticking out his tongue, a gesture akin to sticking out one's tongue. Rika is the captain of an all-girls soccer team in Osaka. She works at an Okonomiyaki restaurant with her mother and first appears when the Raimon Caravan comes to Osaka believing that Aliea Academy had a hidden base somewhere in a local amusement park. Rika, visiting the park at the time, comes across Ichinose and immediately falls head-over-heels for him, claiming him to be her "Darling" husband after he eats her "Lovey-Dovey-Dish" which was just a simple Okonomiyaki that she made.

Nube is a 25-year old man with two jobs. First off, he's a powerful exorcist who deals with the affairs between humans and yōkai in his adopted home in Doumori. Second, and just as importantly, he's the teacher of class 5-3 of Doumori Elementary, both guiding and protecting them from the spiritual encounters they face. Both jobs are equal and important to him in their own ways: he chooses to protect the innocent and punish the wicked, both human and yōkai, focusing primarily on those still young and innocent enough to have the need of a guardian.  Source - Wikipedia  He is well versed in exorcism tools, but his main weapon is the "Oni no te", a real oni that was sealed in nube's left arm (in the anime, his arm is possesed; in the manga it's completely merged).

Torkori is a selfish bird that basically uses Kirby for protection purposes. His first appearance in the anime was the very beginning of the first episode as a cameo, sleeping. In A Blockbuster Battle, when a storm came and Kirby needed to find shelter, he accidentally took Torkori's nest.   When Kirby needed a job, King Dedede told Torkori to sabotage Kirby's attempts to find work. At the end, Tiff and Tuff built a little house for Kirby. In the third episode, Tuff finds that Torkori took Kirby's house. Now he rarely lets Kirby sleep in the house or just lets him in for some rest while he watches Channel DDD.   (Source: Kirby Wikia)

Ryo Ninomiya is Takeru&#039;s best friend and is something of a ladies&#039; man, and is consistently called &quot;Ro-baby&quot; by Sakurako and Amika. He finds Akari sitting alone by a lake, and later gains some sort of power over the elements similar to how Takeru gained his powers shortly after meeting Hikari. He found Akari and takes her in as one of his family members. Ryo does have feelings for Akari, but Kimi keeps the two from having any sort of relationship.

She was afraid that Otani would think she was disgusting, but Otani stated that he didn't think such a thing and they remained friends. !~

Suguru is a lonely boy, that decides to hire Mahoro to keep his unruly house in order. He&#039;s usually quiet, and nervous. He&#039;s afraid of standing up for himself, but after meeting Mahoro he learns how to become more confident about himself.

Nike, (pronounced Nee-kay) is the Hero of the show. Nike&#039;s father had always wished to be a hero, but due to the lack of any great evil to fight against he had to give his dream up. Still, he made his son undergo hard training as a child in hopes that one day a great evil would arise and Nike could fight it. Because of this Nike is a competent, although cowardly, fighter, however like Kukuri he is initially immature and inexperienced. Nike is from Jimuna Mura (which translates to Plain Old Town). Initially Nike does not want to be a hero, but his parents end up forcing him to.

Asuma is the leader of Team 10 (Nara Shikamaru, Yamanaka Ino, Akimichi Chouji), Kurenai's lover and the son of the third Hokage. 

Asuma smokes often but despite that, his skills are respected. He primarily uses Chakra Blades and can quickly dispatch his foes when the situation warrants. He is also proficient in Wind and Fire elements.

Sarai (サライ, Sarai) is a citizen of Rōran. Along with many women and children in Rōran, her father and older brother were kidnapped by Mukade to work to assemble his puppet army.

In the present timespace, he is Haruka's classmate and one of the protagonists of the anime. He, unlike other students, is being forced by his mother to go to cram school in order to pass a provincial enrollment test and go to a Tokyo junior high. As a result, he has little time for anything but studying. He initially tries to run away with disastrous results, and later has a blowup with his mother. Once the pressure is relieved, he realizes that he needs to take the exams because he has no special talents. Yuu initially doesn't want anything to do with La'cryma and the Dragon Knights, because of Karasu's contempt for him and Atori's crazed behavior. But he reluctantly gets involved, eventually teaming up with Karasu to save all timespaces – and Haruka – from Noein. When confronted by the monstrous version of himself, he disowns Noein and destroys his power.

Sang Yung is often much more thoughtful and studious than Aska (though he really doesn't look it) and hopes to one day assist her in ruling Fahren. 

Sang Yung makes a short appearance in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle as the Kudan of Masayoshi Saitou, and again in this form in the Country of Outou, working for Chang Ang in a sword shop.

When Sakuya was six years old, he died in a car accident with his mother. However, the spirit of Alexiel&#039;s seven-bladed Holy Sword Nanatsusaya saves him.
