Hinata is a bright young guy and everyone likes him for his kindness. He is very popular to new students as he has a helping attitude towards his juniors and newcomers at school. He is comedy relief in some situations and a pervert in others. He will always try to save his comrades if he can and is a reliable force in the team.

~!He is the co-founder of SSS along with Yuri. Hinata is found by Yuri in the afterlife right after his death, and she kept harassing him because she was amused by his reaction. The reason why he nicknamed Yuri &quot;Yurippe&quot; is because she shares same name of his mother during the time he was alive.    In Episode 4, a hint from his past shows that he could have possibly died of drug abuse, though in Track Zero, it is revealed that his cause of death is getting hit by a truck.    When Yui wanted to get married, Hinata stepped up and proposed, seriously, that he wanted to get married to Yui so that she can be happy. This fulfilled Yui&#039;s desire and so she disappeared.!~

Briareos is a prime example of the technology of cybernetic implants in Appleseed. Although his body is almost completely artificial, he suffers little loss in humanity. His outer skin is elastic, capable of feeling sensation, and the temperature can be adjusted to the cyborg's preferences. He has eight eyes mounted on his head, four in his face (The large sensor in the middle is actually his nose) two at the bases of his "rabbit ear" sensors, and two at the tips, which allow him to safely look around corners. His brain is augmented by an auxiliary brain that acts as an information processor, and is capable of handling information in a conceptual format rather than hard numerical data. His cybernetics controller, the Hecatonchires system, is named after the same 100 handed giants from Greek mythology. It is capable of controlling dozens of limbs or other cyborg bodies independently from one another, with no additional strain on the user. In the manga, it is pointed out that a cyborg equipped with the Hecatonchires system is able to fully control an entire aircraft carrier on his own. This ability to process multiple limbs at once is seen in the film when he is seen using one rifle in his Landmate's arms, and another in the control arms.   Note: Briareos is the only known cyborg who has successfully integrated with  Hecatonchires system, all other test subjects could not handle it and died. Furuichi is a friend of Akiyuki, and like Haru practices martial arts, although it seems that she is much better than him. Unlike Akiyuki, Furuichi is slightly more cynical and serious, although he is playful enough to bet with Haru on whether Akiyuki will be late or not. Furuichi joins the Mainsoul military, and demonstrates great skill in fighting Xam'd, whilst his relationship with Haru drifts apart. As a result, the reuninon of Akiyuki and Haru is interrupted by him and he declares his intentions of killing Akiyuki, due to his cold indifference over the idendities of Xam'd. Carson was originally apart of a group of smugglers who stole large amount of Vizorium (or Visorium). Kei and Yuri layed a trap for them which led to a small shootout. Carson deserted the group and escaped. Carson comes across Kei and Yuri again on planet Agerna.

A man who during the first series is found often in the Australian Otowa Church. He admits he isn&#039;t a Christian, and that he is merely &quot;waiting for someone.&quot;     ~! It is later revealed that he is Chihiro&#039;s guardian, of whom he is heavily protective.  He is linked to an unknown female figure that appears throughout the Japanese Otowa, often in its church, although the link is never explained in detail during the first series. !~    Himura becomes a main character during the second EF series, part of which is dedicated to his past and his relationship with the previously unknown woman.      ~! He blames himself for not being able to save his sister during an earthquake when they were very young, and this feeling becomes a burden to him for much of his younger life.  After the earthquake he is seen living in an orphanage, where he meets Yuuko for the first time (the unknown woman in the first EF series). !~    Himura enjoys drawing, although does not always like to admit to that fact. He is a quiet and thoughtful person during his later life, often not revealing the whole truth or deliberately being vague when questioned.

He is indeed blessed with great musical talents on almost all instruments, but is also extremely carefree and has peculiar tastes. Some of his antics include drinking an incredibly expensive wine after giving a performance at a local restaurant (which gets him in jail) and making several passes at all other attractive characters (in his eyes, he is the Hunter of Love).

The last male member of the Gilgamesh to be seen. Decem's Dynamis seems to be able to manifest itself in the power of Water; he is a strong Dynamis user, but there is little else known about him. He can be recognized by his ponytailed blue hair. Decem is more calm then Tria in meeting but seems to like Tria over Novem.

A young mercenary without scruples, but who is portrayed sympathetically. When he was born, he held a jewel in his hand, and a seer predicted that he would one day rule a kingdom and marry the Princess of Light, who he believes is Rinda. He is nicknamed "The Crimson Mercenary".

István is a cunning fellow, and a battle-hardened mercenary by his age of 20. He is very mischievous and has a wild sense of humor, finding things outrageously funny. He particularly likes to tease Rinda, and currently has her promise to become Captain of the Holy Guards of Parros, once it is regained. He has a sixth-sense about danger, and will often disappear right before a disaster strikes. Although he complains quite a bit, he follows Guin's orders. A likeable fellow with a thin, strong frame, mischievous obsidian eyes, a quick wit, and a cheeky belief he will survive anything, he has a charm of his own.

Keisuke Sannan, sometimes known as Keisuke Yamanami in other series, is the bespectacled captain of the Shinsengumi. Both a scholar and a ruthless tactician, he is kind and caring, albeit a bit reserved. 

~!After an injury which resulted in him being unable to use his sword arm, he has become cold and suspicious of others. Hope of regaining the use of his arm has led him to drink ochimizu; he is the first of the characters introduced to do so.!~

The main character in &quot;Prototype&quot;, he is a marine Sergeant who is assigned on a mission to destroy a prototype armor. 

Rei&#039;s classmate and boyfriend, he, Takashi, and Rei were among the first to try and escape the rampage at the school. On their way out of class he was bitten by an infected teacher and subsequently turned into one of &quot;them&quot; afterward​. Aware of his fate he instructed Takashi to kill him just as he turned. A brief bitterness between Rei and Takashi occurred as a result of his death.

Officially under the Tokugawa clan, Mune has just gotten to Buou Academic School (a school where only warrior students can attend, and a breeding ground for Japan's next great leaders) and he's already found himself with a world of problems... and two of them like to follow him around.
