Alice McCoy is an animated fictional character who first appears in episode 44 of Digimon Tamers. She is 11 years old with blond hair, and blue eyes who dresses in the gothic lolita fashion style. Alice is voiced by Philece Sampler.    Alice is the granddaughter of Professor Rob McCoy, who keeps a photograph of her. She was sent to the Tamers by the Digimon Sovereigns to give them the ability to Biomerge in the real world, via the power of her partner Dobermon (he sacrificed his life to do this). After this episode Alice is not seen again.    Writings released by Chiaki J. Konaka, executive producer of Digimon Tamers seem to suggest that Alice &quot;passed on&quot; prior to her appearance in the series and what was seen was actually her ghost. The attractive and intelligent recruit to the Department of City Security, Matsuya is pragmatic and fiercely independent. She is also talented and vicious at repelling Iwata&#039;s frequent leers and advances. The manga reveals that she and Iwata were college classmates and that, to her embarrassment, she bears him some genuine affection. She grows closer to Iwata as the series progresses, striking him far less frequently than normal. Arisa is a former gang member (a *yankee*: a Japanese version of the American "gangster thug" image) and has been one of Tohru's closest friends since Tohru's mother helped her escape from the gang (called "The Ladies") when she wanted to leave it.

Arisa is tough, brash, and sometimes violent but cries easily when it comes to her friends. Her "convoluted" personality stems from home problems early in her life, when her mother left Arisa and her father for another man; her father became an alcoholic after his rejection. He is one of the children that have been previously captured by Hamdo and forced to fight as soldiers. He is a good soldier and seems to be loyal in a mixed sense; he is hoping that when he has fulfilled his duty, Hamdo will free him as promised. He's the leader of the group of soldiers that Shu gets assigned to and is one of his main 'contacts' among them, although they often dispute about philosophical aspects and fight each other. On August 30, 2018, she announced her retirement from voice acting, due to various difficulties in her life such as her divorce and her son having pervasive developmental disabilities.
