Real name Marco Togni. An agent of Section 2 and Angelica's handler. After being suspended from military service due to an injury to his left eye, Marco was recommended by his friend Dr. Bianchi to be the handler of Angelica, the first child assassin of Section 2. While taking care of Angelica, Marco told her  stories of "The Prince of the Land of Pasta"  a fictional prince who ate only pasta. He spent much time looking for ideas for the story. This fascinated his girlfriend at the time, Patricia, who later wrote and published the storybook "The Prince of the Land of Pasta", a copy of which Marco bought and read for Angelica. As time went on, Marco witnessed Section 2 develop into an effective combat unit and Angelica's tremendous potential as an assassin. Sadly, Angelica also was the first girl to experience the side-effects of the conditioning process, particularly long-term memory loss. Disgusted with the many setbacks that resulted afterwards, Marco felt that any further effort was in vain, and had no desire to continue, and takes an impersonal and critical approach to Angelica's training. 

Takamichi T. Takahata is the teacher Negi replaces at Mahora, though he takes up a position as an art teacher. He was a member of Ala Rubra, and though he was only a child at the time, he fought actively during the war. Although he is greatly respected (and quite famous) in the magic community, he is a magic school dropout due to the fact that he cannot perform incantations. Instead, he uses "kankahō", a fighting style that combines eastern Ki, western magic, and a bare-fist version of iaidō, "iaiken". Asuna is obsessed with him, though he hides the truth from her, and that he erased her memories of the Magic World. He comments that he has no right to be loved for an unknown reason. His fighting style and personal appearance/habits, including cigarette smoking, are based on Gateau von Vandenberg, another Ala Rubra member who was his master.

Hiraga Keaton Taichi is half Japanese and half British. He belonged to the SAS (Special Air Service) of the British Military, and he was an expert of survival technique. Now, he is studying archeology and works as a lecturer at the collage. At the same time, he works for an insurance company as an investigator, and he travels around the world to investigate the incidents. Keisuke Yamanami is one of the two vice-commanders for the Shinsengumi (the other vice-commander is Hijikata).  He is a master of the Hokushin Itto Ryu swordsmanship style.   Yamanami is often called "Sannan" (an alternate reading of the Kanji characters in his name) by both Hijikata and Kondo.   Yamanami is well liked and respected by the Shinsengumi members, but is constantly in opposition to Hijikata and his style of leadership.  In contrast to Hijikata, Yamanami tends to be more compassionate and thoughtful.  Yamanami is consistently seen carrying an abacus with him.  He says that he finds the abacus to be soothing, especially when he finds himself in a boiling rage.  Yamanami likes children and especially has a soft heart for Tetsunosuke (Tetsu).    Of course, Tetsu returns the friendship and has no problems publicly proclaiming that he would prefer to be his or Kondo's page, rather than Hijikata's page.  Just like Hijikata, Yamanami is strongly opposed to Tetsu handling swords.  Yamanami's feelings about this may have stemmed from how he was affected by his role in the assassination of the former Shinsengumi Commander, Serizawa Kamo.  Ever since that incident, Yamanami seemed to be hesitant to draw his own sword and admitted to Tatsunosuke (Tetsu's brother) that "ever since the former commander passed on, bloodshed lost its appeal".  Yamanami is in love with Akesato, a Shimabara courtesan.  He maintains his relationship with her by visiting her at Shimabara as her customer.   According to Todo Heisuke, Akesato waits exclusively on Yamanami.

A mysterious, unnamed bus driver who seems to know more than he reveals and constantly shows up to offer advice to Tsukune, he is usually portrayed smoking a cigar. He is the one who requests the board chairman help keep Tsukune's ghoulish nature at bay. It is unknown if the bus driver is human or a yokai, but he does have an extensive knowledge in the supernatural, having identified Ishigami's Lilith Mirror as the cause of the uproar during the school festival. He seems to know about Tsukune secretly being a human being, but it is only subtly implied.
