Mimika was a high leveled player in The World two years before the events of .hack//Sign. Mimika was Mimiru's first mentor. The character Mimika was played by three female high school students who wanted a high leveled character but knew that they could not make such a strong character individually. Mimika desired nothing more than the gratitude of others. Mimika died sacrificing herself with an attack to save Mimiru and her friend from a high leveled monster. The three girls controlling Mimika  had agreed to stop playing The World when they graduated from high school, and after the death of Mimika they indeed never played again. The crystalline body of Mimika can still be seen in the dungeon where she died.

She then transported all the planets and inhabitants of the dying cosmos to the new one and entrusted them to the new Queen, Limoges.

Back when she was a candidate herself, she was summoned to the Sanctuary, but there was no Queen Examination, the Guardians chose her over Dia. She accepted the position of Queen, breaking Clavis' heart, who had fallen in love with her.

As an ESWAT member, Deunan is a specialist in weapons handling, explosive devices manipulations, hand-to-hand combat, and an excellent Landmate pilot. According the Appleseed Databook, she is trained to be ambidextrous. In the original manga, Briareos was a cyborg before Deunan arrived at Olympus, and she managed to lose an eye in Volume 4, due to a training accident.  The following data is from the 2004 Movie adaptation.  The daughter of Carl and Dr. Gilliam Knute, Deunan, who is considered as a highly skilled warrior, has spent almost her entire life fighting in a war that was, for the most part, over. It wasn't until she was captured by an ES.W.A.T. (Especial Weapons And Tactics) team in the middle of a ruined city, led by Hitomi and her former lover Briareos, that she was finally evacuated from the Badlands. When she arrived in Olympus, the change of environment was severe, but it was a greater shock to her when she found that Briareos had lost over 75% of his original body during the last Global War and was now a cyborg.  The day after she was brought to the city of Olympus, Deunan learned that over half of the population of the city was composed of artificial humans called Bioroids. She also found out that her new friend, Hitomi, was one herself. Deunan also discovers that other people are looking for her, mostly because she possesses, without knowing it, the secret of "Appleseed". That interest will become important when Hitomi's life will be at risk and that the "Appleseed Data" will be needed to save her. But that would mean defying the powerful Olympus Regular Army (ORA), composed at 100% of humans and under the command of General Uranus and Colonel Hades.

King is a thug working under Mr. Big.  In the video game she was originally supposed to be a woman working as a man, but the anime doesn&#039;t follow this character design.

Introduced in the third story arc, Michiru fights alongside her partner and lover Haruka in defending the Solar System from outside threats. In both versions of the story, she is elegant, sophisticated, capable of sharp anger, and sometimes cold. She is fully dedicated to her duty as a Senshi. Her Senshi alter-ego is Sailor Neptune, one of the "four soldiers of the outer solar system". As Sailor Neptune, her element of influence is the sea(not with water in general as Sailor Mercury's powers are); as with many of the other Senshi, this element is closely associated with her planet, which is named for the Roman sea god, Neptune. She is one of the Senshi who has natural psychic powers, alerting her when danger is near. She seems to be a character with a very deep understanding of things, sometimes even surpassing the other Outer Senshi due to her unnaturally high psychic endowments. Michiru's wavy aqua hair and turquoise eyes are intended to evoke images of her element.   



Yoshino is a slim woman with long brown hair. Yoshino claims to oppose her superior and lover, Jin Kariya. She resembles Uryū Ishida&#039;s mother in appearance, but it is stated that the Bounts can not produce life. Yoshino seems to be the exception to the rule, as it was stated that she could reproduce. Yoshino also bears a great resemblance to Rantao, the creator of the Bounts. The reason for their resemblance is because Yoshino is a copy of Rantao, since the Bounts are artificial souls that were created based on shinigami souls. She merges with Goethe after Kariya removes her seal, and dies when she is impaled through the chest by Kariya. [Wikipedia]    During the initial fights with the bounts, she saves Uryu&#039;s life, which she claimed was to keep him from falling into the bount&#039;s hands. After several conversations together, they seem to become attracted to each other, but not quite to the point of romance. When Yoshino is stabbed by Kariya, Uryu arrives on the scene and holds her in his arms, begging her not to die. From his reactions, it is possible that Yoshino could be the first person Uryu ever fell in love with.

Introduced in the anime's Bount arc, Dr. Ran'Tao was the leader of the research team that created the Bount race. She looks exactly like Yoshino Sōma with the exception of a pair of glasses and her hair up (similar to Nanao Ise). The two also share the same voice. Ran'Tao has stated that she is much older than she looks and has found a way to stay young in appearance, but needs to take very long naps (about twelve hours a day to be exact) to maintain her image.    Out of guilt for creating the Bounts by accident, Ran'Tao took pity on them and helped them build a sanctuary in which all Bounts could live, since they were being persecuted at the time by normal people. She convinced the Bounts to allow her to get them protection from Soul Society. Upon returning to Seireitei, she was immediately arrested and put on trial by Center 46 for her failed soul experiments. When the order was given to exterminate the Bounts because they were considered a threat, Ran'Tao slipped outside to the real world to help them escape, one of the escapees being Jin Kariya. She also gave him &quot;Messer&quot;, his doll. Shortly afterwards she was caught and had her shinigami powers sealed, before being exiled from Seireitei.    Ran'Tao went into hiding in an underground shelter in Rukongai, where she remains to this day. She spends her time engaging in minor experiments to utilize spiritual energy in better ways, one of which is a kidō shotgun which she uses on Jin Kariya during their confrontation. [Wikipedia]

Lau Shimin is Klaud Nine&#039;s parasitic-type anti-akuma weapon that takes the form of a little monkey usually seen riding on her shoulder. It is the first sentient Innocence shown in the series. When invoked, it transforms into a monster that attacks with balls of energy that form at its fists. 

Akemi Miyano, the oldest child of [Elena Miyano](https://anilist.co/character/145173/Elena-Miyano) and [Atsushi Miyano,](https://anilist.co/character/145172) was born into the Black Organization approximately some 25 years before the current timeline. Unlike her younger sister [Shiho Miyano,](https://anilist.co/character/1743/Ai-Haibara) Akemi was never considered a high ranking member of the Organization and managed to live a mostly normal life, traveling about freely and going to school and college like normal, despite being watched over by the organization. Both of her parents later died an accident while she was young, orphaning Akemi and Shiho. Although her sister became a highly ranked codenamed scientist, Akemi remained in close contact with Shiho and served as her lifeline to normalcy. She only involved herself into the organization to try get Shiho out of it.

Some five years before the current timeline, Akemi met undercover FBI agent [Shuichi Akai](https://anilist.co/character/12051/Shuuichi-Akai) who was using the alias Dai Moroboshi. He planned to date Akemi in order to get close to Shiho Miyano so he could gain standing within the Black Organization as part of his mission. Although Shuichi initially was just using her, they wound up really falling in love. Akemi discovered Shuichi was an FBI agent and guessed his plan, but kept this knowledge secret even from him. Three years later, Shuichi's true allegiance was uncovered and he was ejected from the Organization. Akemi then revealed that she knew his secret, and that she wished to leave the Organization and date him seriously. 

This did not happen because Akemi was unwilling to leave without her sister, and the Black Organization would not allow Shiho to go because her work on the APTX 4869 project was extremely valuable. Although Shuichi stopped contacting Akemi for her safety, the Organization was planning to get rid of her anyway because her connection to Shuichi was considered a serious risk. The Organization could not simply eliminate her though because it would jeopardize Shiho's loyalty. Akemi had a friendly, kind, gentle cheerful and outgoing personality and a good sense of humor. When she was a child, she was naive, mischievous and native; she hid the work tools of her father's friends and happily watched as they panicked, however, she only wanted them not to work hard anymore. As an adult, she was a loving, caring person well at odds with the rest of the Black Organization. She and her sister Shiho were very close although they met each other rarely, they often shared with each other the stories. Shuichi says Akemi was always crying in the dark while pretending to be strong. This tells that she is a weak girl and does not want to annoy the others. She is sensitive and may have many sad stories or secrets which she does not tell outside. But she was clever, given that she could plan a robbery with a haul worth 1 billion dollars.

Birthdate: 468 R.C. (777 U.C.)  Hildegard von Mariendorf is one of the principal characters in the series. She served as the New Galactic Fleet's Chief Advisor  ~!She later reigned with Reinhard von Lohengramm when she became his wife and Empress in U.C. 801.!~  Hildegard, usually referred to by the nickname Hilda, was born in Galactic year 777 into an distinguished noble family of the Goldenbaum dynasty, the sole daughter of the benevolent and just Count Franz von Mariendorf. From an early age, she was distinguished from the other girls of the aristocrat society by her independent ideas. Completely unconcerned, Hilda pursued her own interests in reading, politics and history. Her mother having died when Hilda was young, her open-minded father respected Hilda's unique ideas and choices in life.  In U.C. 797, the old galactic empire spilt into civil war, where the old nobility stood against the new emerging camp of military elites lead by Reinhard von Lohengramm. Hilda convinced her father to plea allegiance to the latter, whereupon she met Reinhard for the first time and impressed him with the clarity of her insight. When the Lohengramm camp emerged victorious from the civil war, Reinhard gained complete political and military power in the empire, and Hilda became Reinhard's chief secretary and assisted him in the progressive reforms that swept across the empire.  From U.C. 798 to U.C. 800, Hilda played an active role on the galactic stage, advising Reinhard wisely on imperial policies and tactics, and became one of his most valued and trusted staff. During Operation Ragnarök, where the empire battled the Alliance, Hilda served as a staff officer and became the first female to board the Flagship Brünhild.  ~!During the critical battle of Vermillion, she perceived that the situation was in Reinhard's disfavour, and persuaded Generals Mittermeyer and Reuentahl to mobilize forces against the Alliance capital, turning the war to Reinhard's tactical victory and saving his life. General Mittermeyer later praised Hilda that "her intelligence is worth more than a fleet." Her role gradually became more public after Reinhard's coronation as the first Emperor of the new Lohengramm Dynasty.   In the year U.C. 800, in the Ninth Battle of Iserlohn, Hilda succeeded General Steinmetz to become the Fleet's Chief Advisor, formally capable of representing the Emperor and command on his behalf on the battlefield. Conscious of her military position, Hilda withheld her political role and refused to advise Reinhard on political matters, despite his repeated requests for her counsel.  In August of U.C. 800, Reinhard was attacked by an assassin who sought vengeance for Reinhard's inaction in the Westland tragedy. Overcame with regret and emotional agony, Reinhard withdrew into his own quarters and Hilda entered to console him. Subconsciously realizing that his reliance on her has deepened past their professional relationship, he asked her to stay, and she agreed, determined to help him to the best of her abilities. The morning after, Reinhard came to Hilda's home and proposed marriage, and Hilda did not immediately reply for the uncertainty whether she can truly give him happiness. She also did not reveal her pregnancy to him until after the Urvashi affair and Reuentahl's subsequent rebellion, which deepened the insight of both Hilda and Reinhard toward their own feelings. When peace was restored, Hilda accepted Reinhard's second proposal, and they were married on January 19, U.C. 801. The officials of the empire greeted their new Empress with enthusiasm and joy. On May the 14th, while Reinhard was away at war, Hilda give birth to a son, whom Reinhard named Alexander Siegfried von Lohengramm. Reinhard's illness seriously exacerbated a mere sixteen days later and was diagnosed with a rare form mutative connective tissue disease, with no know cure. Despite the illness, Reinhard decided to return to the imperial capital for the sake of the people awaiting him there. On July the 18th, Reinhard and Hilda were re-united. On July the 26th, the dying Reinhard said his final words to Hilda: "My Empress, you shall rule the universe more wisely than I. If you think setting up a constitution is the better way then so be it. The universe would be fine as long as the strongest and wisest among all the living governs it. If Alexander Seigfried lacks that ability, there is no need for Lohengramm dynasty to continue. Do everything as you wish; that is my greatest wish..." He died at the age of twenty-five, with their son succeeding him and Hilda ruling as the Empress dowager. She was remembered by later historians as the person who nurtured the Lohengramm Empire to maturity.!~
