He wears an eyepatch over his left eye, while he has Aria incantations tattooed on both arms.   He had a run-in with Satan when he was younger, which robbed him of his family and his left eye's sight, which is why he holds immense hatred for Satan and demons that are related to Satan. Yet ironically, he is extremely loyal to Mephisto, willing to listen to any command of his, which is why he stopped his attacks on Rin prior to the latter becoming an Exorcist.

A massive dark-skinned man who wielded an equally massive mace. A former miner, Pippin lent his strength to the old Band of the Hawk. He was often associated with Rickert, who he seemed to share a big-brother relationship with. 

Before joining the band, he seems to have worked in a mine, which is why he was able to divert a sudden fire in a tunnel during Griffith's rescue.

Zaraki's first name comes from the district he once resided in, Zaraki, which is district #80 of the North Alley of Rukongai. District #80 is the worst, most lawless region of Rukongai, full of thieves and murderers (whereas area #1 is the most orderly and law-abiding). While residing in District #80, Kenpachi was nameless. During that time, he became proficient in swordsmanship and killed numerous enemies. At some point during his travels outside of District #80, he found a small girl and named her Yachiru (八千流), in remembrance of the only person he ever admired, after she showed no fear of his sword. Yachiru came from area #79, Kusajishi (草鹿), where her parents were murdered. The two events were apparently quite close. On that day, he also took on a name: Kenpachi, the title bestowed upon the strongest swordsman, the one who has killed the most. The two developed a father-daughter-like relationship.

Also, at some point (before he became a Captain), he fought and defeated Ikkaku Madarame; for this reason, Ikkaku pledged to serve under Kenpachi from there on out (Ikkaku doesn't actually get the chance to do so until he joins the 11th Division), but Ikkaku would still jump at the chance to fight Kenpachi to the death. After some time had passed, Kenpachi found his way to the Seireitei. He defeated and killed the previous Captain of the 11th Division (whose identity is currently unknown) and gained his seat in the Gotei 13 in this manner. In the anime, his assumption of the Captain's seat caused Maki Ichinose to leave the Soul Society. According to the anime, it is also what convinced Ikkaku and Yumichika to join the Shinigami.

In the beginning of the series, Isshin is portrayed as a silly, fight-loving father who takes a keen interest in what his children are doing, but does it either offensively or with an all-too-happy tone, which elicits comical reactions from his kids, usually in the form of a kick. Isshin also seems to enjoy making fun of Ichigo and has a tendency to talk to the large memorial poster of his late wife Masaki, which he has pinned up in their kitchen, whenever he feels particularly emotional. Isshin is a big fan of Don Kanonji&#039;s TV show. Despite his outrageous guise, however, Isshin can be serious and grim at times. On the date of Masaki&#039;s death, Isshin smokes a single cigarette in front of her grave, since she thought it made him look cool (she said it when they were dating). He reflects that it was the first and last time she ever complimented his appearance. He also told Ichigo that he shouldn&#039;t blame himself for his mother&#039;s death because she gave her life to protect him. 

~!In addition, during his confrontation with the arrancar Grand Fisher and the subsequent chat with Kisuke Urahara, he remains completely serious (aside from a short argument between him and Kon about his parenting, and another, albeit short, between him and Urahara after the latter likens him to his son). Isshin appears to be an associate of Kisuke Urahara and possesses knowledge of Sōsuke Aizen&#039;s alliance with the Menos. He mentions in his conversation with Urahara that he encountered arrancar about ten years before the main storyline, though they were nowhere near as complete as Fisher. He also reveals to Kon that he has been aware of Ichigo&#039;s shinigami activities and Kon&#039;s substitutions since Grand Fisher&#039;s first attack. He also notes that he has never called Kon &quot;Ichigo&quot; while Kon is in Ichigo&#039;s body and that the traveling charm he gave Ichigo before he went to rescue Rukia was actually for Kon (it&#039;s a protection talisman). This shows the sensitivity and propriety that he possesses of his role as Ichigo&#039;s father, which is rarely portrayed in the series. Isshin also shares a relationship with Ryūken Ishida not unlike that of their sons. When Ryūken discovers his son is missing, Isshin pays him a visit and the two chat about their respective styles of parenting. It is then revealed that Ryūken was aware of Isshin&#039;s status, and he comments on Isshin&#039;s powers. The Bleach Official Animation Book VIBEs states that the two have some prior history together, and that they have been acquaintances for quite some time. It can also be noted they both are doctors, Isshin runs a clinic while Ryūken runs a hospital. There have been hints that the two cooperate on a professional level, with Isshin handling minor cases, and occasionally requesting aid from Ryūken.!~

Is the co-3rd seat/acting lieutenant of the Thirteenth Division of the Gotei 13. He constantly argues with other co-third seat, Kiyone Kotetsu. Like Kiyone, he shows a great deal of admiration towards his assigned Captain, Jūshirō Ukitake. He wears braided ropes all over his uniform much like a Japanese fisherman, and has a habit of calling people gross names when arguing.

Akon's appearance is that of a tall and eyebrow-less man , with a jagged part, and three short horns (and a possible fourth, which is hidden by his hair) on his forehead which he did not have when he was younger, 101 years ago.     Not much is know about Akon except that he was the first to realize that Rukia Kuchiki's gigai was created by &quot;someone working outside the laws of the Soul Society&quot;, in his words but he is refering to Kisuke Urahara. He is usually seen along his two partners Rin Tsubokura and Hiyosu. Together they were in charge of monitoring the real world for any increase in Arrancar activity during the Arrancar arc. In Turn Back The Pendulum, he joined the Science Bureau shortly after its establishment by Kisuke Urahara, 101 years prior to the present day. Curiously he did not have his horns at this time. In the present, he appears to get along quite well with Mayuri Kurotsuchi, far better than he did with Hiyori Sarugaki.    He is now one of the best researchers of the Shinigami Research and Development Institute under Mayuri Kurotsuchi's charge, and is also chairman of the Shinigami Men's Association. 

Gengorō Ōnabara was the Head Teacher of the first graders (including Momo Hinamori, Renji Abarai and Izuru Kira) at Shinigami Academy. 

Extremely talented in sports (especially baseball), but has no interest in it whatsoever (similar to Initial D's Takumi Fujiwara). He also seems to have no interest in girls... until the day he met Aya Kurihara. However, after her return to France, he met during baseball practice his girlfriend Natsue Horikawa. Better known as Captain Bravo in the series. He is Tokiko's commander, who dresses in an outfit that covers every inch of his body except for his eyes. Though Tokiko assumed this was to protect his identity, Bravo actually has no qualms with showing his real appearance when he acts as Kazuki's dorm supervisor. He claims that he doesn't use his real name because it's cooler that way, (That's what Kazuki thought the reason was, or more like he thinks it's cool) the truth being he abandoned the name after his first and last mission in the "Showusei Team" who only managed to save Tokiko. He acts as a father figure for Kazuki. During the Muto assassination arc, he tried to kill Kazuki up to a point where he threw him off a cliff, but he later defends Kazuki when Kazuki defeats him. He was critically injured by Hiwatari when he gave up his Silver Skin to cover up Kazuki and Tokiko from getting killed by Hiwatari's Blaze of Glory. Bravo remained conscious and controlled Silver Skin to prevent both Hiwatari and Kazuki from harming each other until Showusei appeared and stopped both raging warriors. True to his name, the captain has a tendency to say "Bravo" when applauding someone. Senji was the first "Deadman" that Ganta encountered at the prison. After making their way to sector G, Crow destroyed the Necro Macro security robot which had been chasing Ganta, Shiro and Yoh. After a small skirmish, and an interruption by Shiro, Crow was subdued by the Deadman security. The next day, Ganta and Senji were slated to be the next two Deadmen to compete in the "Carnival Corpse." Despite Senji's experience and skill with his 'branch' ability, Ganta managed to win by fooling Senji. As a consequence for losing, Senji's right eye was removed for research. He returns a short time later during Ganta's next match, sporting an eyepatch and gives Ganta assistance with figuring out his opponent's techniques. He also helps Ganta understand his own capabilities. His change in personality toward Ganta is due to his respect for Ganta's strength. Senji comments that because Ganta beat him, he is not allowed to lose until they have a rematch.   He seems to thoroughly enjoy violence, and his favorite phrase is "Dead Center" (or in the dub of the anime, "Sssslice."). Despite his wild and battle-hungry attitude, he does have a sense of honor and respects strength and determination. In an ironic twist, Senji becomes flustered and embarrassed when a woman acts immodest. When he first notices Shiro's form fitting body tights, his face becomes red and he give her his coat telling her to quickly cover up.   His Branch of Sin is called "Crow Claw". It manifests as two large scythe-like blades, made of blood, extending from long cuts on his forearms. He makes these cuts using two bladed rings he wears on his thumbs. While the blades are typically two to three feet long, Senji has demonstrated the ability to greatly lengthen them allowing him to attack people at range. He is responsible for naming Ganta's 'Branch of Sin' (Ganta Gun).  He also has a supersonic attack called Invisible Black.   Senji used to be a policeman before his time in DW. It's hinted that he killed four friends.    ~!It's revealed in his fight with a Forgery that Senji did not kill them, but was indirectly responsible for their deaths. After the Tokyo massive earthquake, chaos ruled in Seiji's inspection area, and out of the corrupt police force, only Seiji and his friends were active against the local crimes. Their actions soon drew hostile attentions of many hoodlums, especially to Seiji since the branch of sin he possessed was a powerful asset. They challenged Seiji to a many-on-one battle, but his friends stopped him and took on the offer, and ended up savagely murdered in his place. As such, he partially believes Ganta in that he did not kill his friends, because he has experienced similar circumstances  !~

The &quot;Biter&quot; sent by the DearS colony to retrieve Ren. Unlike the other Dears, he is tall and muscular, and apparently quite versed in hand-to-hand combat. He is Nia's master. 

He is the ruler of the Gastark Empire and a powerful warrior. He like Sion dislike the idea of waging war, and tries to reduce casualities as much as possible, as he believes there is no other way to prevent war, than waging war itself. He eventually meets Kiefer, in a battle against Stohl, and shows a liking for her, after she tried to protect two defenseless children, and eventually invites her to his side, to which she declines for the moment. He possesses the Rule Fragment known as Glouvil, which is a large one bladed sword, which upon sacrificing something, grants him great destructive powers that can easily surpass those of a large-scale spell. A tall Black Russian who came to the city to help out his Russian friend who runs a sushi shop. His real name is Semyon but everyone just calls him by the name, &quot;Simon&quot;.     Even though he is a friendly person, it has been shown that he is a force to be reckoned with as he is able to stop a fight with a man his size with just a single arm and also able to fight on par with Shizuo, who is one of the most feared men in Ikebukuro. He is another member of Dollars.

The newly appointed Director-General of the Citizen Security Bureau, who reports directly to the Regent. He and his wife took Pino as a surrogate child prior to the beginning of the series. Initially loyal to the system, he comes to despise the ruling order responsible for the city's slow decay and lashes out destructively. His mentality also slowly degenerates, as he frequently has hallucinations of a smirking Vincent Law close by.   ~!He eventually ends up wounded (Due to being somehow stabbed by the fake Real, as her hands are covered in blood during a wash in the sink) and goes in search for Pino, his only surviving loved one, but dies in his search, knocked over by an AutoReiv onto a shard of glass and impaled. He dies from his wounds but is found by Kristeva.!~

Charles Beams is a freelance LFO pilot and mercenary, with his partner and wife Ray. Initially content in his life of transporting goods and people, as well as fighting thieves and raiders, he is brought into conflict with Gekkostate when the Beams are hired by the military to retrieve Eureka and the Nirvash from them. He and his wife were also part of SOF, and they share a past with Holland, Dewey, and Adrock.   Charles is personally humorous and easygoing, but under his genial exterior he&#039;s still as much a killer as he was while leading an elite force. He has many dualities like this in his life &mdash; for instance, he displays a collection of high-tech ref boards in his living quarters aboard the Swan, but in battle he always keeps an old bolt-action rifle (possibly a Mauser Karabiner 98k) by his side. It is at least somewhat more advanced than it appears, as the rounds are capable of piercing LFO armor.

Laxus Dreyar is the 23 year old S-Class mage of Fairy Tail guild. He is the grandson of Fairy Tail's master, Makarov Dreyar, and son of Ivan Dreyar.   Laxus is a master of Lightning magic. It allows him to produce, control and manipulate lightning and electricity at his will. Through its use, Laxus can not only generate lightning from his body, but also make it appear from almost anywhere to strike his opponents, taking them by surprise. By generating electricity on different parts of his body, he’s capable of making his attacks in melee deadlier, and of propelling himself around to gain extra momentum. The bright light from his lightning can be also used to momentarily blind enemies. In addition, much like other Elemental types of Magic, Lightning Magic allows Laxus to turn his own body into lightning, in order to evade enemy attacks, move around at high speed and strike every opponent crossing his path.  His eye color is different in the manga and the anime. In the manga, it is orange/dark yellow, while the anime portrays it as greenish blue.

A well-built man with angular glasses, Kuzuki is the strict homeroom instructor of Rin&#039;s class. He primarily lectures on World History, though he also holds classes in Ethics. A serial killer, he is Caster&#039;s ally but acts more as her servant.  He is in love with Caster although he hides it completely.  He hid the fact that they had been defeated by the protagonists from Caster when she lay dying to spare her feelings; saying that victory was theirs he held her until she died, and perished himself immediately afterward.!~

One of the nineteen leaders of the Hashshashin sect and the 19th who took the name of Hassan-i-Sabah and the mantle of Old man of the Mountain.

This particular individual suffered from Multiple Personality Disorder which he utilized to compartmentalize his abilities. This gave his Noble Phantasm the ability to manifest his different personalities as separate and autonomous entities. Though they differ in terms of build and sex, the different personas share similar characteristics: they have dark brown skin, purple hair (for those who have it) and wear white skeletal masks. 

Like all other Hassan-i-Sabah, he can be summoned only in the Assassin Class with the class itself acting as a catalyst.

Assassin serves as the Servant of Kirei Kotomine in the 4th Holy Grail War being mainly occupied with reconnaissance duties. The main personality that interfaces with Kirei is a young woman by the name of Asako.!~ 




Sloth is the fifth Homunculus created by Father. Appearing as a giant, muscular, but mentally slow man, Sloth spends most of the story digging the country spanning underground tunnels that make up the Father's mysterious transmutation circle. A conversation between Greed and Lust implies that Sloth have dug tunnels for at least a hundred years. Not surprisingly, he seems eager to finish his work so he can rest at last.  In the first anime, Sloth was inadvertently created in the failed human transmutation of Ed and Al, and appeared as their mother, quite the opposite of what he is characterized as in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

The commanding officer of the geothermal power plant overlooking the boarder between Table City and Milos, and the film's secondary antagonist. He wears a white mask that conceals his disfigured face.    ~!He is revealed at the climax of the film to be Ashley Crichton, Julia's long-lost older brother, who survived being attacked by Atlas using a Philosopher's Stone kept by his parents. He commands wolf chimeras to search for Julia, and kills Atlas out of revenge for his parents' murder. However, he also tries to destroy Milos out of bitterness for the city's betrayal of his family, which brings him into conflict with Julia. Hayate is one of Lisa&#039;s attendants. While he only makes a handful of appearances in the manga, Hayate in the anime forms a strong rivalry/friendship with Tomoka, and the two occasionally battle one another in friendly duels. Hayate is a very calm, loyal, and serious individual who will go to great lengths for his mistress, Lisa; this usually involves doing some sort of research or private investigating. The older of the Valentine brothers, Luke is entirely unlike his brother, and sports a calm and composed behaviour. like Jan, he does not have any high class vampire abilities, and use a pair of sawed-off M1 Garand rifles as well as knives. Luke challenges Alucard, but grossly underestimate him, and is in the end eaten by Alucards Hellhound.
