Luak was a pirate captain who was based in Roanapur and often raided the coast and rivers of nearby Thailand. Although he was good, he had the bad habit of attracting unwanted company (Chin once commented that a warship had once pursued him).    His latest contract was with the minor crimeboss Chin. It seemed that Dutch had slighted the Chinese boss by favoring Balalaika rather than him, and hired Luak to kill him and the Lagoon Company in an ambush (Chin had given a trusted source of Dutch's bogus information on a job to send the Lagoon Company).    But from the start, the mission was doomed. When his six boats tried to flank the Black Lagoon and riddle it with gunfire, Dutch managed to &quot;hit the brakes&quot; by reversing the Black Lagoon's engines, causing one of Luak's boats to be destroyed in a friendly-fire crossfire. Then Revy took over as she single-handedly boarded four of the remaining crafts, killing the crews and blowing the boats up with a grenade launcher. Seeing his chances diminishing, Luak decided to flee the scene &ndash; only to be killed when Revy blew-up his boat. Chin was later killed by Balalaika and &quot;Hotel Moscow&quot;. Cobra's signature weapon is his Psycho-gun, a cybernetic arm-laser which is connected to his brain and capable of targeting enemies without needing a line-of-sight. This allows him to defeat most foes with ease, but some are not so vulnerable to the laser itself; the gun also drains Cobra's mental energies after extended use. For backup he carries an old-fashioned Magnum revolver.  Buichi Terasawa created the main character based on the famous French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo. Cobra's facial features bear resemblance to Belmondo's, and the peculiar sense of humour Cobra exhibits throughout the story seems to have been inspired by the characters Belmondo played in films. Souichirou Yagami is Light's father and the leader of the remains of his investigation team under L's command. He is a kind man with a strong sense of justice. He cares greatly for his family and the members of the Japanese Task Force. He is a serious and responsible man that gains the respect of many. He has a strong sense of duty, and even after the police stop funding the Kira investigation he continues trying to solve the case with the Task Force. 

Yuasa is Jun&#039;s long time modeling agent who has been there for her when she goes for auditions. He has a wife and daughter who loves him. After Jun&#039;s first Devilman experience, Yuasa started to get worried about Jun. As the story progresses, Yuasa feelings for Jun grew and is falling for her.

The second pilot of Getter Robo, Hayato is portrayed as a psychopathic yet highly intelligent delinquent. He is first seen as the leader of a student revolutionary group, but is captured by the Saotome Research Institute after a fight with Ryoma and pulled into the Getter Robo storyline, initially as the pilot of Getter-2. He is the only character to have appeared in every Getter Robo series and has fulfilled many roles, from being a regular teenager to an adult colonel and an aging scientist.    Like the other Getter Robo characters, his portrayal is drastically different in the 1970s TV series. While still a rebel and a loner, he is far less cold and cruel. 

A dirty loan shark with ties to the yakuza. He lends out large sums of money to the desperate, but charges an absurd (and illegal) interest rate. He tracks down Kaiji after a client of his, Furuhata, disappeared without repaying a loan, which Kaiji cosigned in an act of weakness. Recognizing Kaiji could never repay the loan, Endō offers him the opportunity to board the gambling ship Espoir, where he would be able repay his debt and make some money as well.

Like one of the ronin warriors in Edo period Japan, Nobunaga comes complete with a long Japanese sword that he uses with great finesse and skill. Nobunaga's speciality is the unparalleled use of the sword in executing enemies. Franklin has described him as the "King of Carelessness." His best friend is Uvogin, and the two bring out the best in each other during combat. Seeing some of Uvogin's personality in Gon, he expressed interest in having Gon join the Troupe, though Gon adamantly refused. He is one of the Phantom Troupe that originated from Meteor City.  

Nobunaga's En: Supplementing his swordfighting skills is the use of En in creating a circular boundary that can detect the slightest of movements of his opponents. Once the opponent steps into this boundary, an immediate retaliation can be expected from Nobunaga.

Max&#039;s father and a paleontologist. Like Max, Spike is obsessed with Dinosaurs and runs the D-Lab. He often wields a whip that often gets caught on things, which are generally things he is not aiming for. Dr. Taylor can also be over-reactive when a dinosaur appears. He also saves the D-Team when the are cornered by the Alpha Gang, and catches the new cards. His name is a pun on &quot;Spike Tail&quot; (AKA: Stegosaurs). He also recaptures the Dino-holders from Seth. In the second season, he, Aki, the Ancients, and the Drakes get captured by Zanjark.

A large and powerful humanoid monster made of rocks. He moves slowly, but his punches and other attacks are destructive. Golem is a kind-hearted monster who loves nature. However, when in battle he will fight furiously with powerful techniques. He can break apart to perform his Tornado attack, launching bits and pieces of himself in a whirlwind formation. Because he cannot swim, he is also afraid of water. Despite being the single most powerful member of the group, he is passive and would only resort to violence when the group is desperate or if Holly would be hurt. Naoya Uchida is a Japanese voice actor, actor, and singer. He has played several minor roles of authority in various television dramas. He debuted in 1972 in the NHK program Maboroshi no Satsui and continued acting in theater and television dramas until the late 1990s. Since then, he has refocused his career on vocal performances such as opera and dubbing. He is best known for his role as Madara Uchiha in Naruto, and coincidentally his last name is similar to the character's.
