As commander of the Zero Zero Organization, he is boss of the 9 Number Group. His personal history is wrapped completely in mystery, and no one knows his true identity. His relationship with Mylene can be seen as one of a father figure, but during a mission, their exchanges are always businesslike. On occasion, he has shown emotion when speaking frankly with his subordinates, but he is essentially calm, cool, and collected, allowing him to give his subordinates appropriate orders. He is the brains of the Zero Zero Organization.

Shin'etsu Kisaragi (如月 信越, Kisaragi Shin'etsu) was a Shinigami from the First Division and the father of Shūsuke Amagai.  When the Kasumiouji Clan began manufacturing the Bakkōtō, Central 46 denied captain Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's request to investigate the compound. Nonetheless, Shin'etsu offered to sneak in anyway. While there, Gyōkaku Kumoi found him and forced a Bakkōtō on him. Kumoi then ordered for him to kill the person that sent him. He returns to Yamamoto, but his captain unleashes his Shikai to defend himself. Despite his hesitation, he kills Shin'etsu. An experimental Hollow used by Sōsuke Aizen years before the start of the series. In his natural state, he exists as a six-limbed creature with a large, flame-patterned mask and a flock of tentacles on his back. When a Shinigami grabs Metastacia's tentacles, his/her Zanpakutō is destroyed; however, the power is only good once every night. Metastacia's main power is the ability to merge with Shinigami, taking over their body to use as his own. Unlike human possession (two souls in one body), the fusing of two spirits is irreversible. After a short period, he is able to eat them from the inside-out to re-create his original form.    Metastacia took over the body of Miyako, Kaien Shiba's wife, and used her to kill her fellow squad members before eating her. When Kaien Shiba battled Metastacia, he too was possessed and Rukia Kuchiki was forced to kill him to destroy the Hollow. However, Metastacia was designed to return to Hueco Mundo after being killed, so he could be analyzed. Still merged with Kaien at the time, this led to the two becoming one being upon returning. After his death, the merged creature's spirit body was eaten by Aaroniero Arruruerie, giving him not only Metastacia's abilities, but Kaien's as well. 

An Okinawan-American US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, George is one of the soldiers present when Saya goes insane in Vietnam, killing friends and enemies alike. One of the few survivors, he is asked by the first David to watch over Saya&#039;s sleeping body after she falls into another hibernation cycle. He lost his wife and biological children in an accident years before, but is inspired to live by the sound of Saya&#039;s heart beating in her cocoon. When she wakes up from her sleep and he sees she is no longer a threat, he adopts her as his daughter. By this time, he also has two adopted sons, Kai and Riku, and he runs a restaurant-bar called Oboro, in Okinawa.     ~!While protecting Saya, he is attacked by a chiropteran. While recovering from his wounds, he is kidnapped from the hospital and taken to a US military base where he is infused with Delta 67. After escaping, he is again wounded by a chiropteran while protecting Saya. The Delta 67 and the wounds from the chiropteran begin to change him into a chiropteran, so he asks Saya to pour her blood into his wounds and kill him. Saya is very reluctant, because he is the only father she has ever known. While mostly clueless about the way people on earth function, Melan is a kind, calm individual. He is shown to get defensive if anyone harasses or attacks Marin in his sight. He has a soft side for Marin and is able to learn about the world from her. Only after observing Marin for some time, does he come to understand peace. Melan is courageous beyond all definitions of the word and doesn't stop fighting, even when critically injured. He has a strong sense of honor and justice.

Bruce is the legendary &quot;Pirate King&quot; who stole an hundred million space dollars from the impassable Central Bank. At the time, he had an incredibly high-paying job, which suggests that no matter how much work it was, he was a pirate for the thrill of it. Bruce cared a lot for his daughter Franca, and though his constant sidekick was Swamp, Mister seems to have known him the best, which is why he entrusted him with Franca's care. Bruce had an artificial eye that recorded all that he saw. He was killed three years ago by Madame Marciano.

One of Awakusu-kai's executives and also one of the youngest (about 30). He's unique among the yakuza members featured in this series in that he always uses the honorific speech (except for when he is talking to his subordinates).     

He is depicted as representative of the "Intelliyakuza", who rely less on violent methods and more on information (intelligence) and financial manipulation for their income. He is a master of aikido and a fan of Hijiribe Ruri (according to Kazamoto). Within Awakusu-kai, he is also seen as the person responsible for dealing with Orihara Izaya, the information broker.

First alluded to in episode 15, he is the one behind the events of the entire series, having created Vincent and then sending him back to Romdo to start his plan. He is revealed to be the one who fired the thermonuclear missile Rapture, destroyed Amnesia to hide Vincent&#039;s memories and killed Donov Meyer, though all of this isn&#039;t revealed till the end. An Amalgam agent and the head of Amalgam's Execution Squads, Gates seems to have two personalities. He is known to be killing his subordinates whenever Gates messes up an operation, hears that an Amalgam-sponsored mission is a failure or doesn't display any regard for life, for the most part when he is angry such as pushing one of a chopper, dragging another down on the swimming pool, shooting an Amalgam terrorist in the head and even played around with Xia Yu Lan's corpse. But on the other hand, Gates showed his intelligence that he was able to note the Arbalest and the M9s that were in Balic. At one point, Gates began to sing Ave Maria while Xia Yu Lan and a group of Amalgam commandos began to kill every armed Balic soldier.One light side about Gates is that he is protective about himself, specially about being bald since the front of his head shows no hair present.
