One of the Advena Avis immortals. Elmer was born into a religious cult where the sole purpose of his existence was to be an object of abuse. He later moved to Lotto Valentino where he went to the same alchemy school as Huey and Monica.  Elmer wants everyone in the world to be happy and have a smile on their face. He does not care what means he needs to use in order to achieve this and is consequently described by Huey as "pure evil to an absurd degree." Regardless, Huey considers him his only friend in the world and is the only person he does not see as a test subject.  When Maiza and Czes begin looking for the rest of the Advena Avis immortals, they find him in a secluded European village. He later joins them on board the Exit after receiving an invitation claiming to be from Huey.   ~!He was also was on board the Flying Pussyfoot where he met with Fermet, who did not devour him because he was afraid Elmer's personality would influence him. To prevent Femet from making the passengers unhappy, Elmer threw him off the train.!~

Training since his youth, Koshiro is Tenzen&#039;s incredibly clever and skilled pupil, who is able to create massive vacuums just by sucking in his breath. It is clear that he looks up to Tenzen because, although he is like a brother to Oboro, he is willing to betray her trust and try to kill Gennosuke on Tenzen&#039;s command. 

Originally in Ryusuke's first band, Serial Mama, he turned into his rival, and his new band, Belle Ame, formed as BECK's competition was mainly succeeding through appeal for the band member's looks and not sound. Getting all the big breaks, Belle Ame seemed destined for greatness, until BECK destroyed their ride to fame, at the cost of being blacklisted in the music industry.

River Zastory is a sweeper interested in capturing Creed Diskenth and a former member of the Sweeper's Alliance.

In the manga, River is a a serious, noble man, willing to risk his life in order to save both friends and strangers. He is very competitive and views Train as a rival, but respects him regardless.

In the anime, River has more of a carefree attitude. However, should the occasion arise, he will complete the job given to him. He is also noble and kind-hearted, as shown when he tended to a lost child and tried to help her in anyway he can.

One of the pilots sent to earth to retrieve the sleepers. Joey has a positive attitude no matter what the situation is.He is the first person who gets close to Yuji. 

Captain of the 1st Platoon and the head of military arts. He helps out the president with issues concerning maintenance and budgets. His DITE is a large sword with a somewhat curved tip. He was strong enough to finish off a Pollutant Beast immobilized by Felli and take down Nina in the interplatoon match.

A tall lanky guy with peach colored hair with a comb attached to his hair, Sui is Kuu's elder brother and frequently travels together with Kuu. He is a young aspiring author with a seemingly friendly personality. However, underlying, he carries a strength and power beyond that of a normal human being. He possesses the Rule Fragment known as "The Comb of Elemio". The artifact is shaped like a comb and can be used to fire a powerful shockwave against the enemy, and is said to be an ideal weapon to counteract a berserk Alpha Stigma bearer's pentagram-shaped deconstruction power. In the anime, instead of firing a shockwave, it appears to emit an anti-magic forcefield. He also picked up the Rule Fragment that Ryner discarded after accidentally summoning a dragon from it. This Rule Fragment, "Blade of Dolueli", is in the form of a dagger with a blue blade, and upon invocation by stabbing the sword into something, grants the invoker the power to call forth flames, which varies depending on the user and his will. In Sui's case, it took the form of a dragon encompassing his whole arm. The only anomaly was that, Ryner summoned a dragon the first time he misused it.  Like Refal and Ril, Sui is an expert in the subject on "Cursed Eyes" and has a "hobby" of killing "Cursed Eye" bearers, crystallizing their eyes and adding them to his collection, which were later utilized as weapons by the Gastark Empire. In his second encounter with Ryner and Ferris, he forced Ryner into berserking, without realizing that Ryner's Alpha Stigma is not any other Alpha Stigma, and was seriously wounded by the berserk Ryner, losing his hand and the "Comb of Elemio" in the process, before being whisked away by Kuu's inhuman speed. Later he was fatally wounded by Frouade in another battle, and would have been finished off if not for Ferris's interception, before being carried away again by Kuu. Eventually, during the battle with Geihlficlant, he was tasked by Refal to retrieve Kiefer, which led him to another fight with Ryner, who was eventually apparently "slain" by Ril. During that battle, he wields a new Rule Fragment that looks like the Blade of Dolueli, except that it has a red blade rather than a blue one.

Tenshinhan is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball metaseries and the franchise equivalent created by Akira Toriyama. Trained by Muten-Rôshi's rival, the Crane hermit he starts out as an enemy of Son Goku, but soon makes peace and becomes an ally. He is usually accompanied by Chaozu, his training partner and best friend, whom he can communicate with telepathically.  At the time of his introduction, Tenshinhan is among the most powerful warriors in the series, matched only by Goku himself. Like most other characters, his relative strength quickly diminishes as the story progresses.  As is the case with a handful of other characters from the early chapters of Dragon Ball, Tenshinhan was inspired by a character from Journey to the West; his unique feature of having a third eye was derived from the Chinese god Erlang Shen. Gregory is a little flying cricket and King Kai&#039;s motor-mouth pet. Gregory is very respectful of his master and always speaks highly of him, but he will talk trash to anyone he does not believe is better than him. King Kai called for him after Goku managed to catch Bubbles: the new goal was to hit Gregory with a heavy hammer. Yamu is paired up with Spopovich and sent to the World Tournament to gather energy for Babidi, the evil wizard. The energy they are sent to gather is needed to awaken Majin Buu. When Yamu and Spopovich complete their task, Babidi kills Spopovich and when Yamu sees this he tries to escape but is killed by Pui Pui, one of Babidi&#039;s head cronies.

A 20-year-old member of the Fairy Tail Guild who doesn't show his face often, but is skilled enough to be a S-Class Mage (stated by Erza). Laxus Dreyar calls him Freed the Dark. He hadn't been to the guild for half a year, and hadn't met any of the newer members like Lucy Heartfilia. During Fairy Tail's battle with Phantom Lord Guild, he was off in another town. 

He is part of the Raijinshuu, a group of mages who act as servants to Laxus, with Freed as the self-proclaimed captain. He is known as one of the "Mystery Men" along with Mystogan and Gildarts. His magic style is Enchantments. Fried seems to be the most quiet of the Raijinshuu. He also seems to care for his former friends as he questioned Laxus when Laxus told him to kill other Fairy Tail members if he must. He seems to respect Laxus as he does whatever Laxus says even killing other guild members if he is ordered. When Mirajane shouts at him saying weren't they friends, Freed closes his eyes and replied "we were once". After Laxus left Fairy Tail, he shaved his head, though it grew back to normal as seen in chapter 165.  

Freed's magic allows him to write runes that, depending on what is written, will actually effect its target, though Freed's magic seems to do more with inflicting pain and suffering on his opponents. It was first used during the Battle of Fairy Tail, where Freed's enchantments were used as traps do have the guild members fight each other to escape. Contrary to Makarov's theory that his magic needed some time to complete, Freed was shown to be able to easily write characters with his sword to produce its effects.

Shigure transforms into the dog of the Chinese Zodiac whenever he is hugged by the opposite gender or his body comes under a great deal of stress. Shigure is one of the oldest members of the Soma family.  He is laid-back and anything but solemn. He is somewhat of a pervert, and as a writer of both romance novels and academic books.  Occasionally, Shigure shows that he has another side to himself. He can be surprisingly mature, thoughtful, and gives rather sage and insightful advice to Tohru, Kyo, Yuki, and other characters, acting like an actual "adult".

A Chimera that swore loyalty to Greed. Like Nina, he was fused with a dog; however, he has retained his human appearance. Because he is part dog, he can use his new-found speed along with his great swordsmanship, and his sense of smell is superior to that of a normal human. However, he is noted saying he is &#039;too loyal for his own good&#039;. In the manga, he is often used as comic relief. Such as when Martel (inside Al at the time) should see him pee with one of his legs in the air, much like a real dog. He, like Martel, was not in the war in Ishval but was in the war in Aerugo.

Cain is 16 years old and Hajan's son. He is also Agito's childhood friend and sort of the big brother Agito never had. He has a strong sense of justice. He also has more physical strength than Agito and as a result always seems to take the lead. He is very protective of his little sister and is a bit worried of her attraction to Agito.

An agent of Section 2. Henrietta's handler and Jean's younger brother. Unlike the other fratello (sibling), José truly lives up to the name, caring for Henrietta like a protective brother and showing a good deal of interest and concern for her welfare. As such, he attempts to minimize Henrietta's conditioning as much as possible. Years ago, José had a younger sister who adored him and wished to join the Carabinieri when she was older, in order to protect him. She resembled Henrietta somewhat and died in a terrorist attack which possibly caused her to drown. Due to his sister's death, José gained a deep appreciation for life and a hatred towards terrorism.

Switzerland is a country tucked in between the Alps who has the reputation of being an eternally neutral nation. He has blonde hair cut in a bob just above his shoulders. In earlier artwork, his eyes were colored blue, but in more recent artwork and in the anime adaptation, his eyes are colored green.  When they were children, Switzerland was close to Austria. Switzerland spent most of his days bailing out and saving Austria, who often got beat up by Hungary. Despite their closeness, bitter feelings arose between them and caused them to split because their boss couldn’t distinguish between the two countries. In present day, the two cannot stand to look at each other, and Switzerland tries to deny that they were ever friends.  After WWI, Switzerland saved his neighboring country, Liechtenstein, from starvation. It was later found out that at the time, he himself didn’t have enough to eat, and did not ask to be repaid in any way, saying that it was his duty to help out a neighboring country. Since then, Liechtenstein has been like a sister to him and lives in his house. She’s really the only one that Switzerland is nice to and shows compassion towards. He is very protective of her and often times finds himself doting on her.  He has been described as being strong and united, but xenophobic, frugal, and somewhat of a hermit. Most consider him as being peaceful, but are deathly afraid of fighting him because he is known for having the strongest army in the world, is one of the biggest producers of guns and other weapons, and has the world’s wallet in the palm of his hand. Switzerland is also known for being an extremely hard worker, going so far as to not stop a job until the very end when it is completely finished. He has a short temper, but can be gentle and kind when around Liechtenstein. The Vatican once hired him as a mercenary, and it was shown that he has three pet goats named Eiger, Jungfrau, and Mönch (Switzerland’s famous mountains).  Much to Japan’s disbelief, he has stated that he does not “ride magic sky swings or run around the mountains in a milk-maid dress while playing with goats and eating cheese.”   Switzerland has also been shown to become somewhat trigger-happy when Italy, who has the bad habit of forgetting to put on pants, runs pant-less across his border and throughout his property.  

*Note: is that the katakana for Switzerland’s name is「バッシュ」 (literally “Basshu”). His first name has been romanized as “Vash” by some fans, but a more accurate spelling would be “Basch,” considering that a German “v” sounds like an “f” in English, which would not match up with the original katakana.*

A member of the Edan of the East group, Haruo is not a very important character in the series, but plays a semi-important role in Higashi no Eden: Gekijouban I The King of Eden and Higashi No Eden: Gekijouban II Paradise Lost. Haruo is good at computers just like the other members of Edan of the East.

A former journalist who now earns money by blackmailing celebrities with evidence of their scandals. He began to investigate Jigoku Tsuushin merely out of interest, but becomes more heavily involved once he realizes that it's more than just a rumor and people are actually being dragged into Hell. Rei is Sana's manager.   ~!After being dumped by his girlfriend, dropping out of college, and his parents' death, he hits bottom and becomes a homeless person. While begging on the streets, Sana finds him and brings him home much like she does with stray dogs (in the manga, they own three). Misako decided to keep him around the house, and he has lived there ever since, working as Sana's manager.!~ Sana declares him as her "pimp" after reading a book which included the word, although she does not understand what it really means. In addition, Sana thinks of Rei as her boyfriend. Later, Akito tells Sana that Rei is playing with her, and sees her simply as a little girl wanting to play. Daimyo of Chuugoku. Known as &quot;The Great Motonari&quot; for possessing a great tactical mind, he is one of the few feudal lords who yet hasn&#039;t tried to invade a neighboring province nor to ultimately obtain the Tenka. He is a calm and cold leader, who just utilizes his subordinates as mere pawns, willing to sacrifice them. Failure is unacceptable as Motonari holds a high pride in his intelligence. He wields two semi-circular blades that can be combined to a hula-hoop like weapon and he than lets rotate around himself, slashing his enemies while swirling through their lines.
