Before he could tell Kaori a secret about her past, namely that she was found abandoned by Hideyuki's father and adopted, he was fatally wounded and later died in Ryo's arms. Hideyuki's final request was for Ryou to take care of Kaori.

Wataru Amanogawa was a science teacher at Juuban Municipal High School in the anime. He was an astronomer who had discovered a comet, &quot;Wataru Comet,&quot; fifteen years previously. He had been invited to teach at Cambridge University, but declined in order to teach high school.    He referred to the comet that he discovered as &quot;Francoise,&quot; as though it were a person or, as the Inner Senshi speculated, a girlfriend. The comet appeared every fifteen years, and Ami and Taiki both had calculated the moment of its exact appearance and were looking forward to seeing it. Amanogawa-sensei invited his students to view the comet at his house, but Taiki disagreed with the need for romance and dreams in association with science and originally turned down the offer.    Amanogawa-sensei made an appearance on a children&#039;s television show with Taiki as the host. One of the children in the audience asked if it was true that people became stars when they died, and Amanogawa-sensei said that some people believed that to be true, and it was possible, but Taiki angrily corrected him, saying that it was impossible.    The night of the comet&#039;s appearance was originally rainy, but Ami still went to Amanogawa-sensei&#039;s home in hope that the storm would clear up. While she was there, Sailor Iron Mouse came to the house in her guise as Chuuko Nezu and tried to get an interview with Amanogawa-sensei. She revealed her true identity and removed his Star Seed, but it turned out to be a blank and he transformed into the Phage Sailor Teacher. The Phage then attacked Ami, but Sailor Star Maker arrived and saved her.    Ami refused to let Sailor Star Maker kill the Phage, but fortunately Eternal Sailor Moon arrived. After Sailor Star Maker used Star Gentle Uterus at half its power, stunning Sailor Teacher, Sailor Moon returned Amanogawa-sensei to normal with Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss. Shawlong has a long face, and black hair braided and usually hanging over his shoulder. What remains of his mask is on the top of his head, but a portion drops down covering part of his face. The eye holes in this mask are just slots in the mask. He wears typical arrancar clothes: a white jacket with black lining, a white hakama, and a black sash. He seems to be one of the few arrancar that actually zips his jacket most of the way up. As a result, the hole by which hollows are characterized, is not visible on Shawlong.      Shawlong is arrancar number 11, but this does not mean he is the 11th most powerful. Arrancar numbered 11 and above are numbered in the order of their birth, then the top 10 are removed, given numbers 1-10, and called Espada. Therefore, the true extent of his power is unknown, it is simply known that he is not one of the ten most powerful arrancar.      Shawlong is unique in the arrancar we have seen so far, as he seems to be highly intelligent. He acts in a manner that implies he is the next in command to Grimmjow, during their assault on the material world. He seems to have been a major influence on the idea to go to the material world in the first place, judging by statements made during Grimmjow's argument with Ulquiorra. He claimed that if someone is not worth killing, it is also meaningless to let them live; fueling Grimmjow's argument that Uliquiora should have just killed Ichigo Kurosaki.

Fujitaka Kinomoto is a professor of archaeology at Towa University and the father of Sakura Kinomoto.

Fujitaka met his late wife Nadeshiko while doing his first year as a teacher at her high school. Nadeshiko had climbed a tree to return a baby bird to its nest, but fell out of the tree, landing on Fujitaka. Upon seeing her, he stated that "an angel has fallen from the sky." They fell in love and married when she was sixteen. Though Nadeshiko died seven years before the start of the series, Fujitaka is shown to still be very much in love with her and devoted to her memory. He keeps a picture of her in the dining room, changing it each morning. Little is initially said about Fujitaka's family or past.

~!During the second half of the series, it is revealed that when Clow Reed divided his soul, seeking to no longer be the most powerful magician in the world, he split it into two halves, one which became Eriol Hiiragizawa holding all of the magic and memories, and the other being Fujitaka, who has no magic of his own but fathered the one who would inherit the cards. It is stated that Fujitaka has no magical powers of his own, but he is also unaffected by other people's magic, such as the Eriol's sleep spell. At the end of the series, Eriol gives half of his magic to Fujitaka. This enables Fujitaka to finally see the spirit of Nadeshiko, who has been watching over her family since her death.  In the anime adaptation, Fujitaka's role as the other half of Clow Reed's reincarnation is completely removed as is his immunity to Eriol's magic and he is never able to see Nadeshiko's spirit.!~

Yusaku Kudo was already noted for his sharp intellect and deductive abilities at a young age. He met Inspector [Juzo Megure](https://anilist.co/character/4253/Juzo-Megure) and became a good friend and valuable adviser to him in solving very difficult cases. While he often assisted the police, Yusaku's primary aspiration was that of a writer. Quickly attracting acclaim in his early twenties as a young novelist, he encountered the girl whom he resolved to marry: [Yukiko Fujimine,](https://anilist.co/character/20372/Yukiko-Kudo) an already famed and beautiful actress. While taking her out in an expensive restaurant to make his proposal, he was involved in a murder case which he solved brilliantly, and right afterward proposed to a startled Yukiko - which she accepted _(twenty years later, his son Shinichi would become involved in a follow-up of the exact same case in the exact same restaurant, but unlike Yusaku he wouldn't be able to profess his feelings to his own love, Ran Mouri)._

Yusaku's detective stories have won international acclaim, especially his novels involving the character called Night Baron, who has become a popular cultural item. He prefers to be known as a novelist, despite multiple demonstrations of a Mycroftian tendency to solve a case before Shinichi reaches the same conclusions _(as in the OVA where Shinichi was trying to prove the alibi involving, supposedly, a black labrador dog)._ In the course of his career, he also encountered the first [Kaitou Kid](https://anilist.co/character/1747/Kaito-Kuroba) and struck a sort of competitive friendship with him; it is implied that Yusaku knew Kid's identity, but chose to chase Kid only during heists in order to foil the theft and no further.

After Shinichi becomes Conan, Yusaku learns from [Agasa](https://anilist.co/character/4162/Hiroshi-Agasa) what occurred, and stages an elaborate false kidnapping to drive home to Conan what the stakes are if he is caught by the Black Organization. He offers to take Conan to a new life in America, but understands when Shinichi refuses due to a desire for independence and feelings for Ran - though Yusaku doesn't expect that resolve to last. He and Yukiko occasionally check up on Conan, but seem content to respect Shinichi's wishes to pursue the Black Organization without their help. 

Yusaku Kudo possesses a very sharp intellect and observation skills, traits which his son inherited, though Yusaku's own abilities remain more well-honed. He demonstrates in multiple cases an ability to operate several steps ahead of both Shinichi and criminals, able to discern the truth with much few clues than his son. Despite this, he chooses to not get involved unless Shinichi/Conan appears unable solve the case alone in time to save the intended victim. His success as a novelist is to a large part based on his keen understanding of the criminal mind, as his most famous recurring character is a criminal. While he is an excellent author, he will occasionally blow off his editors in order to do other things, such as travel with Yukiko. He is very laid back and calm, never seen to lose his temper. Some might think him too laid back, as he often took his son to crime scenes before Shinichi was eleven, and showed no concern over six-year-old Shinichi dragging Ran and Agasa into a potentially dangerous area of town to investigate a code. The only time he has been shown to be caught off-guard or stressed by a situation is after the false kidnapping, when Shinichi, as pay-back for the prank, alerts Yusaku's editors to his location and they force him to make up for missing his deadlines. His less tolerable personality traits include a certain cockiness and a very bad touch at making humor.

Yusaku loves to read, and is the one who compiled the massive library of mystery fiction Shinichi read as a child. His love of Sherlock Holmes is briefly explored in the non-canon 6th movie, ['The Phantom of Baker Street',](https://anilist.co/anime/1365/Meitantei-Conan-Baker-Street-no-Bourei/) wherein Yusaku and Agasa helped develop one of the Cocoon VR modules as 19th Century London and included Holmes, Watson, and Irene Adler as non-playable characters modeled visually after Yusaku, Agasa, and Yukiko, respectively.

Omegamon (dubbed Omnimon in US) is a Mega (究極対) Digimon that appears in several series of Digimon franchise.  Well known as one of the most powerful digimons, Omegamon's two hands depict Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon's heads, and covers himself in a large white cloak.  Omegamon has several appearances in different Digimon animation series,  In [Digimon Adventure - Bokura no War Game](https://anilist.co/anime/2397), Omegamon DNA-evolves (ジョグレス進化 Jogress Evolution) from Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon in a climactic moment of the story.  Omegamon has a brief appearance in  [Digimon Tamers: The Adventurers Battle](https://anilist.co/anime/3032).  Omegamon also appears in [Digimon Savers](https://anilist.co/anime/859), as the leader of Royal Knights serving Yggdrasil, known as the god of the Digital World.  In the 3D-CG movie,  [Digital Monsters X-Evolution](https://anilist.co/anime/2123), Omegamon is starred as a main character, again as one of the members of the Royal Knights who carry out Yggdrasil's wills. Apollomon the Sun-wheel is the Death General of Bright Land in Digimon Xros Wars. He is the strongest Death General, but unlike the others he does not share Bagramon's destructive ambitions, and he only acts as a Death General while under the influence of Bagramon's crack program, Whispered.

Avan De Ziniur III was the previous hero who defeated the Demon King Hadlar. When he was younger, he befriended princess Flora, the ruler of the kingdom of Carl, and Loca, the general of Carl's army, usually goofing around behind his thick glasses to hide his true power from everyone. When Hadlar tried to murder Flora, Avan decided not to hide anymore and protected her and the whole kingdom from the Demon King. After temporarily defeating him, he embarks on a journey with Loca where he would meet with Leyla, Maam's mother, and Matoriv, a powerful magician to finish off Hadlar for good. After their victory, he decided to become a trainer for a future generation of heroes. When Hadlar is resurrected and comes to defeat him, Avan casts the self-sacrifice spell Megante to protect Dai, Brass and Pop. ~!It is later revealed that Avan had worn a protective talisman (given to him by Flora) that saved his life from the effects of Megante by taking the damage on his behalf. Having survived, he then chose to level up to be of more use to Dai and his other students in their fight against Vearn.!~

Unlike in the video games, "Captain Falcon" is a title given to a person. Throughout most of the anime Bart Lemming held this title until he died, then it was passed onto Ryu Suzaku (Rick Wheeler) during the last episode. The character of Captain Falcon is generally seen as the reluctant hero. Regardless of whether he is still an active bounty hunter, he is still feared by many criminals, especially in Port Town. Rumor has it that he has retired since the last racing season and has opened a small shop in Mute City. He is the older brother of Makenshi, and looks similar except for his red clothes and hair. Originally his younger brother's only friend, Madoushi taught Makenshi everything he knew in the art of combat. Much to Madoushi's dismay, however, Makenshi outdid him in swordsmanship. As a result, Madoushi felt himself to be in his younger brother's shadow and wanted to see who was stronger, even after he died when Chaos attacked their world to prove himself stronger.   He initially appears as part of Oscha's plot to stall the protagonists on the Ocean Puzzle, however it was to feed Chaos with Makenshi's horror of facing his own brother as Madoushi had intended to see once and for all who was the greater brother.
