Mikan is the second eldest of the Noyamano sisters. A tomboyish girl with short messy hair, she&#039;s the disciplinarian of the group and is the one who usually punishes Ikki for his misdeeds. She also seems to enjoy teasing Ringo about her &#039;marital problems&#039; with Ikki (especially later on when Akito/Agito moves in with them). She has a soft spot for retro games, something which Simca uses to initially gain her favor. Later on however, she confronts Simca on the issue of who&#039;s side Simca is really on. Like Ringo and the rest of the Sleeping Forest team, she was revealed to be a Gravity Child.


Madoka is a strong competitor in the Kantō Regional games who fights against Suzuka and Hikaru, losing to both.     Madoka is a Kung Fu artist, using martial arts as her angel&#039;s chief fighting tactics. She has a strong desire to defeat Hatoko Kobayashi&#039;s angel, Suzuka to recover her family&#039;s &quot;lost pride&quot;. While spectating Hikaru&#039;s fight against another contestant, she and her sister make it clear to Kaede Saito and Sai Jonouchi that she will not lose to anyone until after Suzuka is defeated. Arisu and Madoka sabotage Hikaru with a transmitter that will block Misaki&#039;s thoughts from reaching her doll in the hopes of winning, but are caught by Ohjiro Mihara. Canaan is the main character of the series, a mercenary currently operating in Shanghai. She was the only survivor of a village destroyed by war in the middle East before being found and trained by Siam, who has her adopting the name Canaan. She developed a mutual respect for her mentor during the course of her training, but after he was killed by Alphard, her mind is consumed by the thought of revenge and often gets serious whenever she sees Alphard.  As an elite mercenary, Canaan is also a skilled marksman and an expert of combat. She possesses the ability known as synesthesia which allows her to concentrate and combine her senses. She uses this ability as a radar to locate others, to hack into mechanical systems, and to dodge/deflect bullets easily. If she overuses it, however, her strength will be exhausted and she will collapse. Canaan has blond hair and hazel eyes, but whenever she uses synesthesia, her eyes turn red. Reika was adopted by Kisaragi, Akabi when she was around 10 years old. She had been abused by her showbusiness mother, blamed for her problems and physically abused.  When Kisaragi found her, they were both in need of eichother-for Kisaragi it was the fact that she'd lost many people close to her and was in a deep depression. For Reika, she needed a mother and Kisaragi's music helped her threw her hard times.  Once adopted by Kisaragi, Reika started singing and in no time she was a top star like her adopted mother. The unfortunate elf who happens to get tied up with her world&#039;s new visitors, Celcia offers to transport Junpei and the others back with a spell, but gets distracted in the process and causes her spell book pages to be spread out all over the world. She is a bit psychotic and is constantly at odds with Junpei, but she is just as determined to get him and his friends back to their own world as they are - even despite her own feelings for Junpei (who she&#039;s actually in love with but publicly butts heads with). Generally, she wants them to get back home because they tend to cause a LOT of trouble.

During the efforts to retrieve the spell fragments, Celcia displays an uncanny knack for getting stuck in animal form - first as a dog (Pochi), into which she&#039;d willingly transformed, and secondly into a panda. The reason for her retention of these forms is that it is she who recovers spell fragments from the bodies of other elves, only for them to become cloven to her. Unfortunately, if they become cloven to her while she is in another form, it traps her in that form. Also, some of these marks are rather annoying. One, for instance, is a goofy looking mark on her eye.

Kiyoko is about seventeen, was born before the Twin X terrorist attack, so she doesn't have the ability to use the Dynamis. However, she played a very important role in the series. She acts as a surrogate mother to Tatsuya and has a hard time accepting the Countess's help because she feels like the countess is trying to take her brother away from her.She tried to leave the Countess two times. The first time she was caught and was punished by the Countess by being thrown into the Hotel's underground prison. The Countess let her go after she left a second time, but she had to her work to pay her debt to the Countess

Tae Shimura is [Shinpachi](https://anilist.co/character/673)'s older sister. She runs the Kakidokan Dojo—which was her father's failing dojo—with her brother. She is usually addressed as "Otae"; the "O" is an honorific used to refer to women. [Kagura](https://anilist.co/character/674) always addresses her as "big sister" (anego). Despite her sweet face, she is one of the most violent characters in _Gintama_ (and arguably strong too). She mercilessly beats up [Isao Kondo](https://anilist.co/character/2943) and [Gintoki Sakata](https://anilist.co/character/672) whenever they anger her; in episode 19, she mercilessly kicks the men out onto the road (namely her brother, Gintoki and [Taizou Hasegawa](https://anilist.co/character/3760)) so as to stop a car for a hitch ride. She often displays her trademark sweet-looking smile with her eyes closed before engaging in her violent activities. Her cooking skills are terrible, seeing as her tamagoyaki (i.e. sweet fried egg) is so inedible that Kondo suffers amnesia after eating it and others are barely able to swallow it down. [Sagaru Yamazaki](https://anilist.co/character/4653) even describes it as "poison" after some of it accidentally gets into his eye. When Kagura tried to hypnotize herself into eating Otae's cooking, Shinpachi objected, saying that Otae's cooking is the reason for his poor eyesight.  She has, so far, been called flat-chested three times in the anime; another in 59 by Gintoki; and the third time by Shinpachi, who thought that [Kyubei Yagyu](https://anilist.co/character/6110) wanted to marry her because Kyubei took her as a male (that her chest is so flat that she looks like a guy). She has strong principles and believes in maintaining what is precious, even if it means throwing away honor and dignity. She once says that if apologies were enough, seppuku would not exist. Her favourite food is Häagen-Dazs ice-cream, but it is called Bargain Dash in the manga and anime.

Gintoki's landlady. He swore to protect her when he ate food offerings to her dead husband. Her real name is Ayano Terada, Ms. Otose (お登勢 Otose) being a "genji" alias. She was very pretty when she was young and worked at a restaurant. She secretly fed poor children dumplings for free, and was fired. She is a smoker. Despite constant arguments over Gintoki's general inability to pay his rent, she is confident in his defense of her. But in episode 22, she proves to be quite skilled in martial arts (or at least has above average reflexes) by dodging Ayame's flying kick simply by tilting her head to the left and catching a thrown dagger with two fingers (and then pockets it). She is apparently one of the four "emperors" that rule the Kabuki District.  Otose takes her name from a real person who kept a hotel during the Bakumatsu period, often hiding rebels from the Shinsengumi.

Mitsuba is Sougo's older sister, and took care of him since their parents passed away when they were children. Sougo cares deeply for Mitsuba, and is uncharacteristically polite and docile when around her. She is acquainted with the rest of the Shinsengumi, and regularly brings them extra-spicy senbei, which she herself enjoys. She suffers from tuberculosis, and often requires medical treatment, which Sougo used to send money for. She has romantic feelings for Hijikata. Although it is revealed that Hijikata does in fact love her, he feels that he is unable to give her happiness, that is why he treats her coldly.   ~!She dies in chapter 132 of the manga (Episode 87 for the anime) after a brief conversation with her brother.!~ She is roughly based on Okita Mitsu, sister of Okita Sōji.  Historically though, it was Okita Sōji who suffered from tuberculosis.

Nanaho is one of the two vice presidents of the Gokujou Seitokai and also the leader of the Assault Squad, using a yo-yo as her weapon. She is very afraid of lighting as she flinches horribly when it strikes and cries out causing people to look at her strangely and she quickly and angrily yells &quot;What?!&quot;. She secretly has a great love for &quot;girly&quot; things, which can be seen from the decor of her room. This provides a stark contrast to her tomboyish outer appearance and behavior. She was first skeptical by the idea that Pucchan was magical, but later learns that he can talk on his own hand. Nanaho is also an old friend of Kanade and protects and advises Kanade in various matters by her own free will, and not because of the obligations that have been bestowed to the Kinjo family to protect Jinguuji family from generations ago. She has 6 brothers and she is the youngest child of her family. Since childhood she was trained to protect Kanade, which caused her to bear a grudge towards the other girl until Kanade told her that she was free to do as she wanted.        [Wikipedia]
