Satoshi Imamiya, or &quot;Sasshi&quot; is a precocious, carefree, hyper 12-year-old boy who speaks with an Osaka accent and can be pretty dorky at times. He has a huge passion for collecting things, such as baseball cards, vending machine toys, and so forth. The loss of his treasured possessions when he moved to a new condo was hard on him, but it&#039;ll just motivate him to restore his collections to their former glory. He&#039;s also a big fan of RPGs, sci-fi, dinosaurs, guns, and dating simulation games. Sasshi&#039;s family used to run the Turtle Bath, which was the local bathhouse, but was forced to give it up and move out due to redevelopment plans for the Abenobashi shopping arcade area. Sasshi spends his lazy days hanging out with his best friend Arumi, having practically grown up together with her in the shopping arcade.

Haruko Kamio is Misuzu Kamio&rsquo;s Aunt and Foster Mother. When Misuzu was younger, she was forced onto Haruko after her biological mother died and her father left her. However, she is actually the successor of the legendary Storm Riders team, Sleeping Forest . She is also the current Thorn King (Queen) of the eight 'Kings' in the AT world. Ringo is in love with Ikki but does not dare to tell him. She helps Kogarasumaru in times of trouble under the guise of Croissant Mask (Croissiant Kamen). Ringo is a King Class AT user. Ringo is determined to show Ikki the "fear" of flying through the air, because she doesn't want to see him suffer the same fate the last 'Wind King' did. To this end she was even willing to brutally attack him using her 'Thorn Regalia'. During the battle she seems to have total control of the fight as Ikki is completely out-classed. But Kururu Sumeragi saves Ikki with a mid-air installation of the Bagram prototype cores. Ikki then becomes more than a match for Ringo. The fight then seemingly ends in a draw with Ikki carrying Ringo back home. After that battle Ikki leaves the Noyamano residence, but not before Ringo finally reveals her feeling for Ikki and kisses him goodbye. Later in the Tower of Tropheum, Killik reveals the true purpose of Ringo as leader of Sleeping Forest. Due to the final battle for the Sky King takes place where not only the air is incredibly dense, and the atmosphere is giving off the feeling of crushing you, Ringo is completely immune to it. Thus making her the perfect warrior to protect the Sky Regalia.  Ringo is often depicted to be a warrior in an armor, with a shield and blade, and a pair of wings made out of blades. At this point in her introduction, she is usually in the middle of a forest with dead bodies sprawled around her. Her introduction stays the same throughout the manga: "The Fruit of the Forbidden Forest Which Lures One into a Deep Slumber... Crazy Apple." (A play on her name since "Ringo" means Apple in Japanese.)  Ringo (along with Mikan and Ume) are not biological sisters of Rika. It was revealed in Chapter 154 by Kilik. A year or so after the creation of the original Sleeping Forest, it was revealed by Kilik that three unknown "gravity children" are staying with Rika, implying that the research for Air Treck is still going on somewhere else. In chapter 174, Ringo is seen watching Kogarasumaru training for their B-Class match against White Wolf clan, then she sees Hako talking to a mysterious girl that was seen with the Sora brothers on chapter 163.

Hibari has just started middle school and like most of her classmates, she wants this years hottest toy, a Pata-pi.      She is not very good in her studies, nor is she smart or good in sports. She is, however, a very friendly and thoughtful person. Her crush was on a &quot;prince&quot; that often appeared in her dreams (the prince is the one who gave her Densuke, her pata-pi). Hibari&#039;s father works in the robot industry and her mother is a computer programmer. 

Always giving a cool look, she is a talented vocalist and plays guitar. She formed a band in the Afterlife called Girls Dead Monster with her best friend Hisako. She also writes songs and composes music for her band. She is beautiful and has a warm heart. In Episode 3, it is revealed that she is brought up in a family where her father and mother keeps on having quarrels &amp; fights against one another. It lead her to a fear that keeps everything to herself, which made her become a lonely person.  It was until one day she hears a band, Sad Machine, that sang words she related to what she had experience through her life. That was then she decided to sing out to express herself - She found an acoustic guitar that was thrown away, which she picked up and got it fixed and used it to perform. She decided to leave home and continue to pursue her dream as a performer while also holding part time jobs  In the same episode, she revealed that she died in the hospital due to a stroke in her head that paralyzed her body - It was during the fights between her parents when a beer bottle hit her head by accident.  After singing her ballad during the concert, she accepts her fate and vanishes, leaving only her acoustic guitar behind. It was then the gang realized that they don't have to really obey what Angel says in order to enter another life, which they do not want.!~

Irie is fond of ghost stories but has the worst of it when it comes to anything about ghosts. She is cute and enjoys everything as much as she can. She plays drums in Iwasawa and Hisako&#039;s band. She enjoys her time the most when Sekine is around. 

As an ESWAT member, Deunan is a specialist in weapons handling, explosive devices manipulations, hand-to-hand combat, and an excellent Landmate pilot. According the Appleseed Databook, she is trained to be ambidextrous. In the original manga, Briareos was a cyborg before Deunan arrived at Olympus, and she managed to lose an eye in Volume 4, due to a training accident.  The following data is from the 2004 Movie adaptation.  The daughter of Carl and Dr. Gilliam Knute, Deunan, who is considered as a highly skilled warrior, has spent almost her entire life fighting in a war that was, for the most part, over. It wasn't until she was captured by an ES.W.A.T. (Especial Weapons And Tactics) team in the middle of a ruined city, led by Hitomi and her former lover Briareos, that she was finally evacuated from the Badlands. When she arrived in Olympus, the change of environment was severe, but it was a greater shock to her when she found that Briareos had lost over 75% of his original body during the last Global War and was now a cyborg. But that would mean defying the powerful Olympus Regular Army (ORA), composed at 100% of humans and under the command of General Uranus and Colonel Hades.

<br>Tanizaki Yukari is the girls&#039; English and homeroom teacher (class 3), but a teacher with very unconventional methods and a close relationship with the class. Her students are casual enough to call her by her first name: Yukari-sensei, and even use the very informal and intimate name and title of Yukari-chan. She can be moody and, like Tomo, is incredibly impulsive and has a tendency not to think things through. Yukari has a rivalry/friendship with Minamo and attempts to prove that she is the superior teacher. 

He is a representative of the Emperor and appears to be the second in command.

Bachelor is really Hikaru Asakura, who was the third testing subject in the incident eight years ago. She was the successful test subject in the experiment in expanding the left brain, making her smarter than ordinary people in data processing. Her age is a mystery. It should be around 18.  

Kirino Chiba is a second year high school student, and the captain of the kendo club. Energetic and enthusiastic, she dreams of leading the team to the nationals. Her family owns a deli named &quot;Chiba Deli&quot;. Kirino is very happy that Kojirō has finally begun to put more effort into training his kendo team, but she is oblivious to the real reason why her teacher has suddenly begun to train the team so enthusiastically. She is proud that she is the captain of the kendo club and is more responsible than she appears (i.e., picking up the shinai when the other members leave them lying around on the floor, chiding the other members for not picking up after themselves, etc.). Kirino seems to find Tamaki quite adorable, as she and Sayako will often treat Tamaki as a &quot;little sister&quot; type (i.e., playing with Tamaki&#039;s hair, not listening to her kendo lectures, making Tamaki fight merely because she wants to see her fight, etc.). Despite that, however, she has great confidence in Tamaki. She is described as being the heart of the group by Kojirō.    She plays the position of Second-in-Command (fukusho) in the competition.

Erroneously humbling himself before the Iga, Gennosuke is the very definition of honorable. In hopes of winning their admiration for the sake of his botrothed, Oboro, he will do anything to ensure their matrimony.    While Gennosuke tries to break the long-lasting hateful tradition and welcome the Iga as family, they plot against him, picking off his clansmen one by one. Beet&#039;s childhood friend and the second member of the Beet Warriors, her family took Beet in when Zenon brought him there. She cares about her family and friends very much and became a buster to pay for her fathers medicine. She is thoughtful and prefers to have a plan before starting a mission. She can also be extremely violent when the circumstances call for it. Beet often introduces her as his wife-to-be which can make her mad. Regardless she has a crush on Beet and hates it when Milfa flirts with him. She is in charge of money for the Beet Warriors and will use there for both things they need like food and weapons. Her main element is fire. At first she thought that her divine attack of fire was weak because she was. Kissu explained that it was strong at first, but it scattered after a distance, causing it to lose power. She corrected this by attacking monsters and Vandels up close.

A vampire that was once friends with Jirou and Alice, however she betrayed them and killed Alice. She used a chained cross to fight Jirou during one of the battles in the Kowloon Shock.

~!It is later revealed that she is the Lord of the Warlock family and is a reincarnation of Morgan the Witch. She was also the first to be bitten by the founder of the Kowloon Children bloodline and was branded a traitor.!~

He also has a soft spot for women and children, especially when tears are shed.

A mysterious and fairly unemotional woman, Nakiami makes her first entrance when she jumps in and subdues the enraged Xam'd, turning him to stone and demanding that he come with her and live, or die. Akiyuki accepts, and she knocks him and Haru out with a few small movements. She then takes Akiyuki back to the ship with her, and starts operating on Akiyuki and working with his condition. Nakiami is a fairly serious and skilled person, who bears similar face marks to other mysterious characters related to the Xam'd and seems to have a lot of knowledge and expertise about it. She is a member of Benikawa's crew and flies a small jet-like vehicle. It has been noted that her character design and vehicle both share large resemblances to Nausicaa, and it may have been an inspiration for her character.

Though she is in her senior year, Nagisa is one year older than her classmates; she had to repeat her third year again after an illness that lasted nine months. Nagisa meets Tomoya on the first day of this year.  Nagisa is very timid, and has a habit of saying the names of food that she wants to eat as a way of motivating herself. She wants to reestablish the suspended Theater Club, but does not have enough self-confidence to do so.
