When she was born she was kept in an isolated tower as part of an experiment. Because of that she hated Joel, such that when Saya freed her she slaughtered him and the people at his birthday party. Her isolation left her childish and socially inept as well as ignorant of the moral ramifications of her actions.      ~!She rapes Riku and kills him. As a result of her attack on Riku, Diva becomes pregnant. She does not give birth for over a year, when Amshel cuts the cocoons out of her body.    The fight ends as Diva and Saya pierce one another with their swords, which each had coated with their own blood. Saya is unharmed by the attack due to Diva&#039;s blood having lost its power when she became pregnant. Diva begins to crystallize from the effects of Saya&#039;s blood. Her babies emerge from their cocoons and Diva reaches for them, imagining herself with her daughters and smiling at the vision before dying. It is implied that Diva had long been seeking the unconditional love of a family, similar to Saya&#039;s.!~

Riku is the adopted brother of Kai and Saya, the youngest of George Miyagusuku&#039;s three adopted children. He is a very kind and intelligent boy who loves to cook. His gentle nature even rubs off on the reclusive Hagi to some degree, particularly after he brings Hagi a plate of food and asks him to join the others. Hagi teaches Riku how to play the cello and protects him from a bad injury after Riku falls from a moving train.     ~!After Diva drinks most of his blood at the &quot;Zoo&quot;, Saya is forced to turn Riku into a chevalier to save his life. Afterwards, Riku shows a compulsion similar to Hagi&#039;s to protect Saya at any cost. Despite a brief estrangement, Riku remains close to his older brother Kai and works to heal the broken relationship between Kai and Saya after Kai learns the truth about her.    Draining Riku&#039;s blood seems to cause Diva to develop a strong interest in him. She takes Karl to the Red Shield headquarters to find Riku. Once she finds him, she rapes him and then kills him with her blood. In the light novel adaptation, it&#039;s explained that something in Diva&#039;s eyes causes the Chevalier blood in Riku to react with a &quot;maddening desire&quot; that causes him to be incapable of escaping or physically resisting Diva&#039;s actions.  After Riku&#039;s death, Kai has a piece of his crystallized body made into a pendant, which he wears around his neck to remember his lost brother.!~

He is a kindergarten-aged boy whose antics are the basis for the series. His affectionate name is Shin-chan. He is 5 years old and loves Chocobis and an animated superhero named "Action Kamen". He is attracted to older girls and women, despite his young age. He brazenly pursues any girl who catches his eye. He shares this trait with his father and paternal grandfather, but this often results in Mom's cruel punishment. The only girl he seems to really like is a college student named Nanako. Some of his strange activities include dressing up and mooning. In general, he is brutally honest, highly curious, and has no shame whatsoever. Ironically, there have been several instances in which his antics actually solved the problems of those around him. He also displays a surprising amount of talent at various activities including kendo. On rare occasions, he displays bouts of selfless kindness (for example, in one anime episode he saved a frog from a truck on a rainy day, getting all wet and dirty and risking Misae's ire since it was his last set of clean clothes), but these are often immediately followed by antics that negate the goodwill others feel. There are also times when Shin Chan displays a level of maturity beyond his usual self in his concern for others. For example, during the trip to Australia where he bumps into Kazama, he kindheartedly arranged for Kazama's father to play ball with his son after Shin Chan notices him being sad on the beach.

She becomes very attached to Vincent and accompanies him on his journey; she calls him "Vince" and occasionally throws her "tantrums" at him. Unlike most AutoReivs who live to serve their masters, Pino seems to be unable to do the simplest thing, for comical effects (such as when Vincent asks her to collect firewood in episode 13, she initially comes back with disgusting-looking mushrooms; she also makes a disgusting-looking concoction of canned food in episode 14 and serves it to Re-l and Vincent) She also initially thinks that Re-l is a "scary lady"; after getting used to her presence, Pino starts calling her "Re-l Re-l". She also has the knack of imitating people for what they do, and imitates them well (such as Timothy's drawings; Re-l and Vincent's expressions; and much to Re-l's displeasure, the exact way and manner by which Re-l complains and reprimands Vincent). Pino's most common antics involve her dressing in a pink rabbit costume and playing a large toy melodica.
