A troubled genius, John has been studying music in Paris for many months without much success. Moses is the leader of the Schiff, and the one who encouraged them to break out of the lab in Khirbet. He is calm and rational, and often chastises Karman, whom he has an ambiguous friendship with.    His signature weapon is a double edged scythe, with a pommel set high on the staff section, to possibly serve as a trench knife variant when the enemy comes too close for an effective swing.

After losing his father and his brother, both members of the SDF (the Space Defense Force), Manabu decides to join up himself. On the way, he meets up with Louis Fort Drake, another new member of the SDF.  He's initially hated by Bruce for his pacifist attitudes and blithe refusal to carry a gun (other than the one he inherited from his father, which also doesn't work), and, like most youngsters, he's a bit of a hothead. Through the various missions undertaken, some of them more peculiar than others, he eventually settles into the role as an SDF member.

Hiiragi is often used in the anime for comical purposes, often being teased about his &#039;school-life&#039;. After Elis is informed of her mission, Hiiragi is given the task of protecting Elis. He and Kureha live with Elis in order to guard her 24/7, although he has to live out on the balcony. He is also known as the &#039;Falling Man&#039; in school for hardly ever coming to school and his recent degrade from 3rd year to 2nd year also relies on his nickname. His artifact is a Demon Sword (which seems to be a class of artifacts) with several different attacks. His personality is aggressive when fighting, but when it comes to the women around him, including Anzelotte, he lets them walk all over him to the point where he gets constantly embarrassed by Anzelotte on an episode by episode basis while also being beaten up in defense of the girls and by his chilhood &#039;friend&#039; Kureha for simple, comical matters. A secret that Kureha knows of Hiiragi is used as fuel to get him to do anything she wants and at any time in order for her not to tell. She often uses this to get him to do things for her. Mytho was once a heroic and kind Prince who protected the helpless, yet in one of his many battles he encountered a raven. The only way to defeat the monster was to shatter his heart to seal it away. In doing so, he lost all emotions and was left rather lifeless. During the beginning of the series, Mytho is dependent on Fakir for his well-being and care---the two have been friends since youth. He is also Rue's boyfriend, but whether by command or because he bluntly doesn't know better is never quite understood. When Princess Tutu first appears to him he finds that gaining back his heart is terribly painful. However, before long he is gracious to the Princess for aiding him and falls in love with her grace.

Jeda and Balgus both arrive with Artemis to find Hazuki. Jeda has controls his surroundings to his advantage. He is more focused on the mission at hand than Balgus.
