Yusa is a girl with long blond hair tied into two pigtails secured in place by a red ribbon each. Just like most of the members of the SSS, Yusa wears the standard uniform of the group. Yusa is an observer during the missions and her ability is transmitting information to help her team. She is a calm and gentle mannered girl. She also has a straight-forward and tsukkomi character. She doesn't show any emotion, and called scary by Hinata and Otonashi (in an omake). She also can't calm down without her headphone.

Anko is the daughter of a journalist who discovered her involvement with Zearth. She told her father all the truth when questioned by him, except about her ultimate fate. Anko's father and the military attempted to fabricate a story about Zearth and the children to soothe the public opinion. However, they were preempted by Karita, a boy who appeared on TV earlier falsely claiming he was a Zearth pilot and whose comments raised the public opinion's hate for Zearth, culminating in his assassination. Afterwards, Anko's father received an authorization to broadcast his daughter's battle from inside the cockpit to the whole world. Even when seeing Anko at grave danger as the acid flowing from enemy's piercing needles managed to breach the cockpit, almost killing her and Machi, her father did not stop the transmission despite objections from the others. However, after sending these images to the world, messages supporting his daughter came to the station and he used them to encourage her to fight back. She managed to turn the tide of the battle by using the same needles the enemy robot pierced at Zearth's body to knock it down, and after the match was decided, her father revealed to her that he kept his cool at that moment because he was told about her inevitable death. After sending a message to the world apologizing for the casualties occurred during Zearth's battles, Anko sealed her victory by destroying the enemy cockpit, and died in her father's arms. Her chair was a round stool with no legs. Thanks to Anko's declaration, the army managed to create its official version of the story, claiming that Zearth's only pilots are Komo, Anko and the deceased Karita, in spite of all three now being dead.  Anko's story is far different in the anime series. Her father is a journalist who is working with Komoda's father and Kanji's mother not only to find a way to save the children from the contract, but to reveal the truth about Zearth to the whole world, despite the government's efforts to hide it. But he is forced to resign from his position at the TV station where he works after his affair with a famous model is disclosed, just by the time she is chosen to the Tenth match. Thanks to Kanji, with whom she became very close, not only she found the strength to bear with the whole scandal, but to fight her enemy head on, and obtain a quick victory, before passing on happily at his arms. Misaki is a mysterious girl who decides to help [Tatsuhiro Satou](https://anilist.co/character/1839/Tatsuhiro-Satou) escape his hikikomori lifestyle. She convinces him to sign a contract, involving him in her "big project", with the goal of making him an average person. Though seeing right through his actions, she tries reading him (beginner's) psychology books in an attempt to click with his feelings and "save" him.

~!Her backstory varies depending on the media. In the anime, it is revealed later on that the only reason she is helping Satou is to save herself from being worthless. Due to traumatic childhood experiences such as living with her abusive stepfather and seeing her mother committing suicide, she believes that she isn't worth anything and her existence is a reason for people's misfortune. She feels useless and the only way she can live with it is to have someone to rely on her.

However, in the manga and light novel, it is revealed she made those details up in an effort to manipulate and try to help Satou through unconventional means. Her story in the media mentioned above actually involves both her parents being happy, healthy, kind, and wealthy.

Her biological father gave her the name "Misaki" (岬) which means "promontory" in Japanese after the Ishihama Promontory.!~

She is devoted to Lu-Shen and has known that Lu-Shen loved Kyo even before Lu-Shen's confession.

She is identical to White and Red Chaika. Her main visual distinction is the makeup she wears. She is also fluent in the common language, unlike both White and Red Chaika, who speak in distorted sentences. A skilled chemist, she used her knowledge in chemistry combined with the charms of her body to charm and "persuade" men into working for her, before eventually coming upon and joining forces with Ricardo Gavarni and Grad Lancia aboard the Floating Fortress "Soara." A hopeless romantic taken to extremes, Mayu is a cutesy ex-lolita model who quit her previous job on a whim after what she thought to be a "fated encounter" with the Producer. Mayu believes that the red string of fate ties them together, and thus strives to become his finest idol so they won't have to spend a second apart, outright admitting to not having any interest in idoling itself. While she may act quite normal whenever the Producer is not around, as soon as he enters the room, all of her attention instantly shifts to him.

Because she is a spin on a yandere-type character, although ultimately harmless, Mayu is shown to exhibit behavior commonly associated with the trope, most notably slipping into eerie dark-eyed chanting whenever she doubts Producer's loyalty, keeping a diary dedicated entirely to him and their future plans, or secretly following him around his daily commute. Some more meta references include the [Only Your Cupid] tie-in theater skit, where she jokingly confesses to murder while doing the Shaft head tilt, and her Go Just Go! special appeal, which resembles Yuno Gasai's infamous yandere pose. It is implied that she was an ordinary girl before she first met the Producer.

Despite the aforementioned, she is shown to be on good terms with other idols, particularly befriending Hinako, a fellow daydreamer that shares the same feelings towards the Producer.

A Japanese voice actor, singer, and pianist. She married the singer-songwriter [Yutaro Miura](https://anilist.co/staff/182317/Yuutarou-Miura) on June 12, 2020. 
 
Makino took up piano at the age of four. Her talent was discovered by the film director Shunji Iwai when she was only seven years old, and from the age of 8 to 17, she played piano solos for three of his films, one of which was _Love Letter_. She then graduated from Tokyo College of Music as piano major in 2008 with the top score in her senior year piano ensemble.

Makino has appeared in two films, several commercials, and a TV Drama. She also sang the ending theme of a Wii game, Arc Rise Fantasia. The song, which she wrote the lyrics and music of herself, was titled "Tenshi no Hashigo ~crepuscular rays~".

She was nominated for "Best Young Seiyuu"  for her outstanding portrayal of Misaki Nakahara in Welcome To The N.H.K!.
