In .hack//Roots, Haseo is a newbie player to the Online game known as The World. He is an outcast in real life, and not very good at dealing with people. Upon logging into The World R:2, Haseo is attacked by PKs, (Player Killers), and rescued by Ovan, the Guild master of the Twilight Brigade. Haseo then joins the Twilight Brigade in order to learn more about Ovan. Eventually, after Ovan disappears for an extended period of time, the Twilight Brigade is disbanded and Shino is PKed by Tri-Edge. Obsessed with saving Shino, Haseo continually seeks power, culminating in his journey into the Forest of Pain, a new Lost Ground, where, after confronting another AI Harald, his PC body was transformed.    

At that point level 133 and equipped with an arsenal of incredibly powerful weapons, Haseo became the Terror of Death, a PKK, or Player Killer Killer, who hunted down Player Killers. Upon finding them, he demanded information on Tri-Edge; if they failed to give any useful information, which was usual, he killed them. The name Terror of Death was the title given to him by players, as he truly cared nothing for any other player except for Shino.    

Around this time, Ovan returns and informs Haseo that Tri-Edge will reappear shortly at the Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. Haseo attempts to defeat Tri-Edge, but is Data-Drained, returning some time later as a level 1 character with no items or contact info.

Sieg (ジーク) is the character used by Tomonari Kasumi (香住 智成), the boyfriend of Mai Minase and one of the coma victims attacked by Skeith. He fell to Skeith when he invited Mai to play The World. 

First seen in a flashback in volume 2. His first true appearance is in volume 6. In the anime, he first appears in episode 6 for a brief moment.  A level 9 Burst Linker and one of the Six Kings of the Accelerated World. He commands the legion "Leonids". He is seen to be accompanied with two other people, known as the Royal Guards.    ~!He possesses one of the 7 Sacred Treasures of Accel World, the sword  Impulse. According to Niko in volume 11, he is the strongest out of all the Kings. !~

Atsumu is a childhood friend of Jinta and Menma. In the present, Atsumu holds a condescending attitude towards Jinta. He becomes agitated when Menma is mentioned and is still distraught over her death. He, together with Chiriko, attend the same high school, which Jinta failed the entrance exams to enter. Atsumu and Chiriko were once mistaken as a pair.   ~!Atsumu is still in love with Meiko despite her death and keeps one of her sundresses in his closet. He buys hair scrunchies and other trinkets to place at her grave. He revealed that he is able to see Menma too. But in the end of episode 4, it's been proven that he is a crossdresser and tried to fool everyone. Once they got him, Atsumu confessed his love for Meiko and that he felt guilty for her death. In episode 5, Atsumu seems to have a kind of interest for Naruko, asking her to go out with him and if she is a virgin.!~

A mysterious wandering man with a vast knowledge of the supernatural and is mystical in appearance. He carries around a large wooden box filled with medicine and holy tools. Among them is an enchanted sword that is used to slay the mononoke. To use the sword, the Medicine Seller must find the "Katachi" (shape), "Makoto" (truth), and "Kotowari" (reasoning) of the mononoke he wishes to exorcise. Once the sword has been unsheathed, he transforms into a demon-like creature.

While his origins are unknown, it is clear that the Medicine Seller is not human or at least not entirely human; he has elf-like ears, and pointy canine teeth. Even in the time-skip Bakeneko arc, the Medicine Seller still appears as the same handsome youth from the previous arcs (the only differences in his appearance from previous arcs is he now wears small round red stud earrings and a ring on his index finger).~!It was revealed in the Umibozu episode when the ayakashi asked the passenger's fears, the Medicine Seller calmly answers he is afraid that there is no form, truth, or reason at the edge of the world, thus no longer having a reason to exist.!~(Source: Wikipedia)

Meme is a middle-aged man who lives in an abandoned building. Being an expert in apparitions field, he solves [Koyomi](https://anilist.co/character/22036/Koyomi-Araragi) and others' problems. Although he sometimes expects compensation, he does not require it always and seems to help those in need from good nature. Due to his vast knowledge of supernatural studies and general oddities, he serves as Araragi's informant during his stay in the city. Meme is a graduate of Shinto studies in college, although he never pursued the career of being a Shinto priest. Despite that, he is perfectly capable to accomplish spiritual works of a Shinto priest, such as exorcising entities and solving paranormal mysteries. He occasionally wears a Priest's outfit, as seen with the session with [Senjougahara](https://anilist.co/character/22037/Hitagi-Senjougahara) and the heavy crab. Meme's other notable accessories include an earring on his right ear and a necklace, both consisting of an inverted cross.

Hes a member from Rosso Estrada. Although he appears to be a girl, he is a male, just like all other Rosso Estrada members he also has a heart shaped tattoo under his left eye.  He was born on the 10th November and he enjoys singing.   His racing car is Dio Spada (Just like Carlo&acute;s)

Griffith was the founder and leader of the mercenary unit known as the Band of the Hawk, named for his helmet which was forged in the shape of a Hawk's head.

An old blood vampire that sided with the humans to fight against the Kowloon children during the Kowloon Shock. Jirou was transformed into a vampire in 19th Century London. He used to be a lieutenant in the Imperial Japanese Navy until he was severely injured in a fight protecting Alice. Besides being an Old Blood, he also comes from a very special bloodline: the blood of the Sage.

He wields a long katana which has a blade made of silver. During the war, after defeating most of the Kowloon children, he became known as the Silver Blade. He is weak against sunlight and water. He is shown being burned to the bones from staying into the ocean too long and releasing smoke under the sunlight, even though he was carrying an umbrella. He has a little brother, Kotarou, who is the only other vampire who shares his bloodline. He is considered to be the chosen Guardian.

Jenos Hazard in the manga Jenos is 25 as said in the anime.Jenos is the Chronos Numbers member Number VII. Among the Chronos Numbers, he probably is the best looking, and is a bit of a womanizer. However, he does not just flirt with girls, as he actually falls in deep love with every single one of them, Rinslet Walker being one of his favorite candidates through the story. Jenos's weapon is a glove named "Excelion," which has indestructible Orichalcum wires attached to it, and can be used to cut very deeply or grasp something very tightly. Along with Naizer and Beluga, he is a member of Cerberus, being the middle-range attacker. He stops Beluga from executing Nizer's suicide plan to finish Creed off, resulting in a risky escape from the castle where Beluga dies to hold a huge ceiling tile while Jenos escapes carrying Nizer unconscious. He also plays the role of trying to stop Baldorias and Kranz from fighting Train and Sven (even though he's not very warmly received), and brings Kyoko to Sephiria for their meeting, where Sephiria wishes to test Kyoko. In the final attack on Clarken Island, he tags up with Lin, who he shows great ease in getting along with.  Jenos Hazard in the anime Even though on the Manga he shows a friendly alignment to Train and Sven's sweeper team, in the anime, he shows a neutral attitude at the start, mainly because Eve was his target once, saved by Train. However, he develops a supporting attitude towards Train's group as of the Eden incursion. He also has a different role, as he partakes in many missions he did not in the manga. For example, he watches the World Conference in a helicopter and is also given the mission of taking out Eve or take her to the Chronos headquarters at the start. In the Anime, he also is always accompanied by a Chronos eraser, that aids him. His relation with Lin is not of old acquaintances, as it is more strict and formal. Also, it would seem his feelings towards Rinslet are of love, even though it's not known if he's just a flirt.He always finds opportunity to express his feelings to Rinslet at tight situations even though they are just words. However, they are closer than they are in the Manga. In the last episode, Rinslet is talking on the phone with him.  Incidentally, it's worth noting that Jenos' number is 'Lucky 7' the opposite to Train's 'Unlucky 13'. As such, his 'VII' mark is also on his chest, but on the opposite side from Train's. Izuru Kira was born to a family of lesser nobility, his parents having been dead since he was young. While in the Shinigami Academy, Kira befriended Momo Hinamori, Renji Abarai, and Shūhei Hisagi, and they were often seen spending time together. After graduation, Kira, along with Renji and Momo, was sent to the 5th Division, where he stayed until Gin Ichimaru became Captain of the 3rd Division. Kira is loyal to both his friends and his duties, perhaps to a fault. Despite the close friendship he shares with Momo Hinamori, Kira shows that his loyalty knows no boundaries when he defends his captain while she is in a grief-induced rage from her own Captain's apparent death. Despite this, he calls himself a "monster" afterwards for raising his sword against her.  Kira's Zanpakutō is Wabisuke. Its Shikai command is "Raise your head." When activated, Wabisuke's Shikai bends the blade into a square hook. In this form, Wabisuke doubles the weight of whatever it strikes. The ability affects both inanimate objects and living beings. Though a seemingly pointless ability in sword combat, the effect is cumulative. With a second hit from Wabisuke, the weight will double again and so on, exponentially. Thus, after seven or eight blocked attacks, his opponents are unable to lift their own swords. Once Wabisuke's effect becomes noticeable, Kira's opponents often fall to their knees with their heads bent down, as if in apology, thus the name of Kira's Zanpakutō. 

Izuru Kira&#039;s Zanpakuto.     Wabisuke&#039;s spirit takes the form of an emaciated, shirtless man. He carries a large metal ball on his left shoulder and Izuru&#039;s Shikai in his right hand. His pants resemble those of a Shinigami&#039;s shihakushō but tied with chains instead of an obi. He is always seen with his head bowed down, letting his hair completely cover his face. The spirit also has a large stone tablet chained to his body that seems to weigh him down; this is reflective of Wabisuke&#039;s abilities of doubling the weight of those struck by his blade. One of Tokugawa Ieyasu's spies, though he holds no shred of loyalty towards him, and plots to seize control of the land from the shadows. Cruel and heartless, his specialty is making use of his speed to attack, and might even boast more talent as a ninja than Saizo...! He's after the Kushi-mitama that Nami Isa holds, so that he might seize its great power for himself.

While in the most desperate of times, a figure will appear out of nowhere offering substantial funds loaned against a person's possible future. Seemingly over giddy and sprite like at times, Masakaki  is a true agent of entropy who, as he puts it, takes his orders from above. He looks sinister and untrustworthy at times, then acts cheery and full of childish hope when least expected. Hailing from a nexus like demenison that converges from any given point of our world, his power to affect the material realm seems as limitless as his insanity.

Nayu&#039;s step-brother who has been looking after her since their parents died. He works as an underwear designer and often gets Nayu to test out his latest products.

Lelouch's childhood friend and son of Japan's last prime minister. After Britannia's takeover of Japan, Suzaku joins the Britannia Army and becomes an Honorary Britannian. He agrees with Zero (Lelouch in disguise, unknown to Suzaku) with his assertion that the Britannia Empire is not worth serving, but nevertheless wishes to implement changes and improvements from within the empire, all the while trying not to lose sight of his goals lest his father's death have been in vain. He has a strong sense of justice and is the only one known to be able to pilot the elite Britannian Knightmare Frame, Lancelot. He always keeps with him a broken pocket watch, a memento of his deceased father.    

Position: First baseman   Younger brother of Junpei Azuma, in the same year as Kō. Yūhei was brought over to Seishū High School by Coach Daimon to play in his first-string team. He is an excellent batter, so he is the current cleanup hitter at Seishū. He has trouble recalling other people&#039;s names and faces, stating that he only remembers people that are worth caring for, but he apparently remembers Kō Kitamura. He has lost some of his confidence in Coach Daimon and the baseball team at the end of his first year, but seeing Kō&#039;s abilities during the practice game convinces him to stay in Seishū after Daimon is sacked.   Yūhei&#039;s obsession to reach Kōshien is due to his guilt towards Junpei Azuma, his older brother. Junpei injured his leg, ending his rising baseball career, while saving Yūhei from falling down a staircase. The guilt of ending his brother&#039;s career turns his desire to reach Kōshien into obsession. Also, since then, Yūhei has been very sensitive towards children who are playing around stairs and matters of when a person&#039;s recklessness effects more then themselves. Because of that, he is shown initially to be very cold and uncaring towards people around him, as he is only concerned with reaching Kōshien. He gradually begins to enjoy the game more, becoming less stern on outcome and more on performance, and make friends as Junpei&#039;s happiness becomes more sincere throughout the series; turning Kōshien more and more to a personal dream or goal rather then a amends to his brother. Kanda Yuu is a main protagonist character and member of the fictional religious organization known as the Black Order, in the anime and manga series D.Gray-man, by Katsura Hoshino.  Kanda is a young and handsome Japanese man usually found in any mood that isn't positive.

Kanda comes across as cold, stoic, and arrogant, even to his fellow exorcists. In battle, he will do anything to win, sometimes at the risk of his teammates. He once made a sarcastic joke about leaving them to die. It is his opinion that exorcists are not saviors.  Yu, or Yuu, is Kanda's given name, though he dislikes being called by it or even introducing himself as such. He calls Allen "bean sprout" (モヤシ, moyashi, English Dub: "Short Stack"). Kanda seems to know Lavi, though he doesn't hesitate with his usual threats if Lavi calls Kanda by his given name. However, it is clear that Kanda does care for his fellow Exorcists and the Finders (whom he claims not to care about).  He tends to mask his emotions and often claims, "It's none of my business." In spite of his intentions, he and Allen are often at each other's throats and rarely see eye-to-eye on anything.   

Kanda's favorite foods are soba noodles and tempura (especially pumpkin, shishitou [a small, sweet green pepper], and lotus root). Kanda dislikes many things, to the point that "there are too many to write down". However, Kanda himself points out that he hates people with naive personalities, people who don't keep their promises, cursed people, people who can't keep their mouths shut, people who call him by his given name, and "sweet things".

Leon is also very determined to change his current title to ‘Super High-School Level Musician' to win a heart of a girl that he happened to meet at the hair salon. Later, Leon himself states that he somewhat missed playing baseball; something that he used to do every time since he was young. He even invites Naegi to play baseball with him once they get out of their current situation. 


Huey&#039;s friend who was assigned to the same air base as him in their air force age. His father is an owner of a famous shipbuilding company.

A bearer of Cursed Eyes &ldquo;Īno Dwōe (殲滅眼, イーノ・ドゥーエ?, Īno Dwōe) who is a devourer of flesh, he powers up his magic by consuming other people&#039;s lives and by absorbing magic. He has a past with Claugh Klom. He spares Claugh&#039;s life prior to the events of the story by injuring a part of Claugh&#039;s arm but not killing him. The latter then uses magic to save it.    Tiir&#039;s motives are unknown, but as he has a problem to control his power, he may not have a motive or loyalty for his doings at all. His eyes have Iino Dwoe&#039;s power and when the power manifests, a cross-shaped symbol appears over the pupils of the bearers, allowing them to absorb magical energy and increase their powers. On October 26, 2022, it was reported that Sakurai had been engaging in an extramarital affair with a writer of his *P.S. Genki Desu. Takahiro* radio program. A month prior, it was publicly disclosed that he had been married to a former voice actress for nearly 20 years, although the writer had allegedly not been aware of his marriage as they had been in a relationship for 10 years and intending to marry. His previously announced roles as [Haruaki Karuma](https://anilist.co/character/290233) in [AYAKA](https://anilist.co/anime/155982/AYAKA/) and [Kusuriuri](https://anilist.co/character/2865) in [Mononoke (Movie)](https://anilist.co/anime/151117/Mononoke-Movie/) had been recast as a result.
