The infamous school journalist, Hiyono is the bubbly and energetic sidekick of Ayumu, always stuck to his side. Very clever and a quick-thinker, her confidence borders dangerously on overconfidence. She is extroverted and is Ayumu's polar opposite, serving as one of the series' few comic-relief characters.

Her skill with computers are as amazing as her hacking abilities and she has access to over one hundred resources. She blackmails Wataya often, and is very fond of Ayumu's cooking. Hiyono is also one of the few who whole-heartedly believe in Ayumu; she also has a great deal of faith and loyalty in him that carries on for the whole series. She attends Tsukiomi High School alongside with Ayumu Narumi.

The younger of the twin Harada sisters, Risa is initially the object of Daisuke&#039;s affection. However, she doesn&#039;t show the same feelings towards Daisuke as he does for her considering the fact that she feels that he is too normal and only thinks of him as a best friend since he&#039;s very kind and nice to her and she can rely on him for anything (to which she uses throughout most of the series). She is a rather naive young girl. Risa starts to develop a crush, then an obsession, with Dark upon seeing his attempt to steal an artwork broadcast over the news claiming that he is the mysterious person whom she is destined to be with.    There is an ongoing sisterly rivalry between her and Riku. Compared to her sister she seems more innocent and clumsier and can be seen as your typical &quot;girly-girl&quot; though shows the same stubbornness, tenacity, and kindness as Riku. She would much rather prefer fashion and relationships than to physical activities. In terms of physical features her hair is much longer and she has a &quot;softer voice&quot;, apart from that the two can&#039;t be distinguished (shown in episode 5 of the anime when the two switch places so Risa can get out of chopping cabbage as a form of afterschool punishment).    Risa obsessively pursues Dark, coming up with intricate schemes and plans to make him go out with her, some of which eventually work. There&#039;s no doubt that she is quite clever and very persistant. Later on, however, Dark tells her that the two of them cannot see each other anymore. Near the end of the anime, subtle signs of a relationship between Risa and Satoshi start to show. (example: he places her on a park bench and covers her body with his jacket after she fell unconscious during their struggles with Krad. She then wakes up only to find the jacket and a single white feather which fell from it. Although not knowing who the jacket and feather belongs to, she can be seen treasuring it). In the manga this is more apparent, shown through small occurrences (example: he saves her when she fell off a building, when Daisuke saves her from drowning he shows concern and touches a lock of her hair).    As the series progresses, Risa breaks out of being a naive little girl and develops into a more mature young lady.

Birthday: February 13  Megumi attended Washida University for one year, but it turned out to be too expensive so she took a year off. Her hairstyle features an antenna. She is now staying at Narutaki Sou all the time. She is in a long distance relationship with her Middle School boyfriend who is studying cinema overseas. She loves films (particularly poor attempts at horror) and in her room are lots of DVDs. She's also a heavy drinker and likes to party with Johnny in Shiratori's room, much to his dismay. In the manga her character is much more developed as she is portrayed with a darker past, in connection with her brilliant piano skills in which she comments has given her bad memories. At the start of the series, Megumi is twenty years old and her birthday is February 13.

Ayuki is Tomari's best female friend, who, much like Yasuna, is quiet and reserved, though seems to be more social than Yasuna. Indeed, she serves to act as the voice of reason between the interactions of the other characters. Additionally, Ayuki seems to have an interest in observing the people around her and she enjoys learning about the sciences, though most specifically, biological sciences.    It is suggested indirectly that Ayuki is also interested in Hazumu, and later in the anime, she also seems to be interested in Tomari. However, she says that she prefers not to get involved with the developing love triangle and simply observes from the sidelines.

The protagonist of the series, busty, light red haired and green-eyed and not terribly bright, but immeasurably powerful. Hakufu cares little for the politics of the series, only caring about fighting for the sake of fighting, but is staunchly against unnecessary violence and killing. Lately, however, with trouble brewing all around her she is beginning to take up the mantle of a leader to protect her friends and family. Hakufu possesses a unique gift for predicting enemy moves very accurately by reading the flow of chi (which proved useless against Ukitsu) around her opponents which occasionally makes her seem brighter than she is. She also inherited Master Chouchou's knowledge of chi magic, and, while currently unaware of this, is able to use it partially by instinct. Choushou passed it to her spiritually while Hakufu was unconscious, this is how she healed Koukin after she stabbed him and extracted the evil chi from his body. Hakufu harbors a powerful dragon as one of the Three Great Rulers. 

Mariya is Mizuho's childhood friend who knows him very well. When it was decided that Mizuho would transfer to the all-girls school she also attends, she took it upon herself to transform him into a beautiful girl by use of makeup, the school uniform he was to wear and some prostheses. Mariya seemed to have a lot of fun dressing him up as a girl.    Mariya has a very spirited personality which she uses often to make sure Mizuho is acting feminine in every way: appearance, mannerisms, and even speech. This often includes using mild violence. Also, she has a temper, of which she has little control and which sometimes causes her to do inadvisable things or carry grudges to an extreme - such as her grudge against Takako. During most of the time that Mariya has known Mizuho, she has always been there as his support whenever he needed her, though later on in the series she finds that without her even realizing it, he has already managed to stand on his own in terms of self-confidence and maturity. Initially, she is very uneasy about this change and is unsure on how to act towards Mizuho after this revelation. Also, she discovers herself to be harbouring some romantic feelings for Mizuho, of which she had been unaware herself.    Mariya is in the Track and Field Club. 

Izumi is one of the three girls who get hired by Yoshitaka. While reluctant about working there she has to work for Yoshitaka as she has a huge debt to pay off. Because Yoshitaka is the way he is, Izumi repeatedly stamps on him and hands out pay to him.  Izumi never uses an honorific suffix (-san, -sama, -kun etc.) after Yoshitaka's name. While this usually means the speaker is very close the person, this could also mean a grave insult. Izumi uses it to show her contempt and her complete lack of respect she has for him. As a result, Yoshitaka often places the more difficult (and often pointless) tasks on Izumi. Izumi was originally going to be the &quot;normal&quot; character of the series but she turned out to show violent tendencies towards Yoshitaka and became the &quot;doll&quot; of the household: Everyone, including Mitsuki, messes with her in some sort of sexual tendency much to Izumi's dread. Yukari Hirai is a student in Yuuji's class at Misaki Municipal High School. She becomes a Torch and has her existence filled by Shana.

She had a very upbeat personality, was kind and quick to help others out, but becomes very melancholy and silent after being turned into a Torch. Her novel counterpart is a sombre and shy girl, as compared to her livelier anime counterpart.

She dies when Friagne's Rinne Marianne appears on her way home, essentially killing everyone in the vicinity of the attack, except Yuuji, who is rescued by Shana. Shana makes a Torch of Yukari, and everyone who was involved, that same day. Unfortunately, her flame burns out on the next day and her existence disappears as a result.

Starting playing The World after her brother Fumikazu, known as the Wavemaster Kazu in The World, falls into a coma while playing to find out what happened to him she meets Kite. She learns he has similar experience and decides to work along with him. That&#039;s when her involvement in the Twilight Incident begins.     Known as the one to start the .hacker party with Kite.

Appears in episode 13 of the anime D.N.Angel when Daisuke travels 20 years in the future to retrieve the lost black stone of Shiira.  As he chases the child who took the stone from the fountain in the park, Daisuke notices that he chases the child back to his house, where it is unveiled that his mother, Emiko-san, still lives there.  She calls the child Daichi.  Evidence points to the fact that Daichi is Daisuke&#039;s son.

When Ichika is hesitant, Manatsu is carefree and assertive; where the former is reserved, the latter is cheerfully outgoing. She also has striking similarities to Ichika, namely, she knows and loves many of the same things Ichika does, and she shares the same fear of ghosts.

Tomokazu's childhood friend. She is kind and thoughtful, and is always there for her friends. She secretly loves Tomakazu. She has long pink hair, and her fighting uniform is pink.

Najimi is a young girl who, after losing her job, decides to switch professions and starts attempting to create dōjinshi, or fan-made manga. She was inspired after seeing her friend Tsuyuri sell her dōjinshi at a comic festival, and after meeting her childhood friend Justice again, who is also a dōjin artist. Her dōjin circle is called Beauty Love House, and Najimi uses the pseudonym Beauty Love when writing her dōjinshi.    Her name is a pun on the Japanese term &quot;Osananajimi&quot; meaning &quot;Childhood Friend&quot;.

A girl who travels with Bocca to seek her love, Kurofune. She was given as a sacrifice to the monsters by her parents to improve her brother&#039;s chances of becoming a Monster Union agent. Kurofune rescued her and she fell in love with him. She ran away from the home Kurofune placed her in to chase after him. On her wrists she wears the chains that bound her as a sacrifice and with them she can track Kurofune. They will point to wherever Kurofune is if she is lucky and there&#039;s nothing standing in the way of her and Kurofune. During the journey, Sayoko develops a relationship with Bocca.    Although her identity as a runaway child is the first facet of her character that is introduced to viewers, Sayoko is better known as daring, sensitive girl who is ready to risk all for love. She also has pick-pocketing skills to rival a professional, which helps her survive and bring her to Bocca. They later become friends when she realize that Bocca is a Melos Warrior, and decides to follow him so that she can look for Kurofune, whom she is in love with. Around Sayoko&#039;s left wrist is a red chain that vibrates and pulls her in the direction of Kurofune when he uses his power.    Bocca says that Sayoko is a &ldquo;girl who belong to a world of sunlight&rdquo;, but despite being generally cheerful in disposition, Sayoko&rsquo;s past is marred by a dark truth. Her parents always loved her brother more than her. When her brother grew up, Sayoko was sacrificed to help her brother become a member of the Monster Union and Kurofune saved her from it. That was when Sayoko fell for him. Together, Bocca and Sayoko traverses many monster-controlled area, delving into the monsters network and hierarchy. Asakaze Risa is the head of the disciplinary committee. She is often seen hanging around her friends Miki and Izumi. She speaks rather boyish and likes to cause trouble for fun, which is ironic since she is the head of the disciplinary committee. Her family lives in a giant Shinto temple.  In season 4, a running gag appeared in which Yukiji started to refer to her and two of her friends, Miki and Izumi, as the "Three Idiots." 

Saga Bergman is the first main character of the story. Her mother has died, but her father&#039;s fate is never clarified. She lives with her grandmother in a fictitious small German town called M&uuml;hlenburg in the anime; they live in Guttenburg in the manga. She works in a coffee shop and keeps to a strict schedule. In an attempt to get everything finished, she still tends to run late - her encyclopedic knowledge of shortcuts means that she still appears organized. She finds Sugar by accident and offers her a home, which Sugar accepts gratefully.    Saga plays her mother&#039;s piano in the local music shop, because they had to sell it, and respects great pianists. Nanako is a young shoujo manga artist. Already her talent is recognized under the pen-name Tamagawa Ayako and she is under constant pressure to write new chapters of her latest creation, Magical Chiffon. She is a bit accident-prone, and also runs into mishaps with paper-loving white goats for some reason.   

Mai, the middle sister, is a tomboy-ish 14-year-old girl. She has pink hair and usually wears sporty looking clothes. Mai is constantly reminded of her flat chest by her younger sister Mii which causes her to blow a fuse.

Early in the season she was acknowledged for having problems with constantly moving for which she got constantly depressed about to the point she refused to go to school. This was because she thought everyone hated her after making friends and then abandoning them. She understood the impact of their journeys on others, unlike Mii, but did not have the mental maturity, like Ai, to cope with it.

Later in the series she makes friends with a classmate of hers, Konami. When it was time to leave, Konami helped convince Mai that she was wrong and in consolation Mai left a sketch portrait Konami they were to make for a class assignment for Konami as a departing gift stating that they'll remain friends forever, even if they never see each other again.

~!While she waits for Mai's return, Konami passes away 2 years before the mansion is in a location where they could meet again. She still was hoping to see Mai again. Later in the series Mai meets Konami's daughter and at first mistakes her for Konami, but quickly learns her name is Mai, the same as herself and named by her mother after her friend.
Mai discovers that Konami's daughter, Mai, has more in common with her than a name. She reselmbles what the younger sister Mai was like before meeting Konami and feels it's her duty to both Konami and her daughter to show her that way of thinking was wrong, just as had been done to her. Mai, the middle sister, ultimately gave up and failed at the time when she Konami had still been waiting for her even as she lay dying.
This, compounded with Keith's words about the pain the girls bring to others, reawakening her depression in a much deeper manner. When she returns to visit Konami later and leaves, as a departing request, asks Konami to explain to her daughter what she felt so that she wouldn't follow the same path as the younger sister Mai.!~

Milo is one of the Gold Saints. He is the guardian of the 8th House in the Sanctuary, the Scorpio Temple. A man of honor, of immaculate conduct and with immense fervor for Athena, Milo was regarded along with Leo Aiolia, as the pride of Sanctuary.     As a Gold Saint, he was loyal to Athena, and thus he was obedient to the false Pope of Sanctuary, not without harboring suspicion about his legitimacy. During the conflict of the twelve temples, Milo first opposed the Bronze Saints&#039; insurrection, as the Pope Saga tricked him into deeming them traitors and regarding Saori Kido a usurper of Athena&#039;s name. Later on, Milo is defeated by Wyvern Rhadamanthys and thrown into the Cocytos prison. In the climax of the battle, Milo is revitalized by Athena&#039;s Cosmo, and offers his life along his Gold Saint comrades in the final sacrifice to pierce the impervious Wailing Wall.

Misaki Saiki's a very lonely girl. She is hinted to be bisexual. Born as an albino, she was sent over at a young age to live with her father and grandmother. She also had to suffer the taunts of other children because of her unusual appearance. When she got older, she got a job as a dominatrix in one of Tokyo's most notorious S&amp;M clubs. Misaki is used to the various perversions of the male clients she runs into, and is well-trained in how to satisfy their needs. However, this also brings her share of obsessed fans who try to seek her out and stalk her... especially Mitsuru Fujiwara, who constantly sends her text messages on her cell phone.

But a lot of the time, people seek Misaki out because of her ability to talk with the dead. She often works with the city as an exorcist, helping out distressed spirits into going on to the afterlife. She often works with Souichiro Kadotake of the Livelihood Preservation Group, who just happens to be afraid of ghosts, so he's not much help. Working as a professional dominatrix wasn't in Misaki's plan of life, but she doesn't see being a professional medium any different.

Because she's an albino, Misaki usually limits her exposure to direct sunlight because of her fair skin. She also has bad eyesight... not to mention the unusual quirk of being born not having any pubic hair, which can be a turn-on to some of her professional clients, but can cause others to be freaked out if they caught a glimpse of her naked crotch.

Chiaki is Fumika's coworker, though unlike Fumika, Chiaki has already died. Chiaki died due to a car accident and thus retains the appearance of how she looked before she died, which happens to be very similar to Fumika, though Chiaki does not age. Believed to have been eighteen when she died, she is &quot;over twenty-one-years-old&quot; as she says, however she looks roughly as old as Fumika is. She is assigned a different city in Japan than Fumika, and the two rarely ever meet on Earth, but do see each other more often when in Shigo. Chiaki has a bright personality and likes to express her emotions outwardly, whether they be related to frustration, or happiness. As observed by Fumika, Chiaki usually is not as diligent about her job as Fumika is, and if a delivery is too much of a pain, she will generally drop it, marking the letter with an invalid addressee.
