She is considered to be one of the best in the business. She was raised as a test subject by her scientist parents who died in the catastrophic earthquake. She was protected by the bustier made by her parents and thus survived. She was then picked up by Aida Gozo, who raised her, and later on she works in Gozo&#039;s office as a Salvager. Aika possesses a unique battle suit made out of &#039;ultranate&#039; (or more accurately just &quot;alternate metal&quot; from the katakana), shaped into a golden bustier that transforms her into a dark-skinned and blue-haired woman with supernatural strength and resilience. But she dislikes the perfection attained by the transformation and tries not to rely on it. Although not used in the anime, in this form she is called Shivie Aika. She is constantly fighting with Gust, who either tries to steal her bounty or hits on her. Aika will do anything to get the job done, even if it means sacrificing her morals.

Tetsuya and Touko's relative, a spunky, spontaneous young girl who is very scantly dressed. Although she talks smoothly near Tetsuya's mother, outside of her hearing she is another person.

Nadja Applefield is a sunny, charming girl, with a talent for dancing and making friends wherever she goes. Even though she is very young, she shoulders responsibility quite well, often taking care of the children younger than her at the orphanage. On the other hand she is impulsive to the point of foolhardiness and extremely trusting, which leads others to take easy advantage of her and even abuse her thoroughly, if the right buttons are pressed. Her biggest dream is to someday be reunited with her mother.  Nadja was given to Miss Applefield to raise when she was a baby, her only possession at the time being an elaborated heart-shaped brooch.

A strong-willed and stubborn schoolmate of Kai, Mao, the daughter of the head of the Jahana Yakuza, is often bossy and likes to be in control, a trait she probably picked up from her father. Her blunt, confrontational demeanor seems to be a brave facade she puts up whenever things don&#039;t go her way or she&#039;s scared.    After Mao meets Okamura and realizes he knows something about Kai&#039;s disappearance, she forces him to take her along by financing the trip with money she steals from her father, implying he would try to kill Okamura for the theft.  She is determined to stick by Kai&#039;s side, despite his best efforts to shield her from the danger surrounding him and Saya. As the series progresses and she comes to terms with Kai not returning her feelings, Mao warms up to Saya. The only girls &quot;in a group of men,&quot; she grows more protective and concerned about Saya&#039;s well-being as Saya&#039;s health seems to decline.     ~!When she accidentally overhears Saya and Hagi&#039;s conversation about Saya&#039;s impending thirty year hibernation cycle, Mao becomes furious and slaps her. She agrees to keep it a secret from the others, then tells Saya she will make a promise with her, a promise between two women, to personally bring Saya back to Okinawa once everything is over.    Mao finally decides to test Kai&#039;s feelings once and for all and kisses him, but he doesn&#039;t respond and seems baffled by her actions. Realizing her love will never be returned, she gives up and begins to play matchmaker between Kai and Saya.  She later accompanies Okamura to the the Middle East.!~

She was seen helping the Burial Agency due to her ability in a short story of the Character Material, although she is not stated to be a member of it - she isn't even an Executor. She is angelic and forgiving to the point that she believes her only purpose in life is to help others, even if she is hurt in the process. She never blames the person who has hurt her and blames the act on demons who caused the person to commit the sin. Whenever she is at fault, she apologizes to God rather than the person.  One of Caren’s most unexpected personality quirks is her love for teasing and exploiting others’ emotional vulnerability. Upon discovery of an individual’s weak spot, she enjoys bringing it out to light in front of all the other characters. While this antagonizes many characters and causes much outrage and humiliation, she remains calm: once, when Avenger retorted in response to her, she squeezed his face without a change in expression. Oddly enough, in spite of being a priestess, she has deliberately chosen to wear a revealing costume with no skirt to both increase her mobility and to seduce men.

A Britannian-Eleven girl, who believes herself to be a Japanese person at heart. Before the Britannia Empire conquered Area 11, Kallen's original name was Karen Kouzuki. She comes from a prestigious family and attends the Ashford Academy where she receives outstanding grades while serving as a member of its Student Council. When away from the Academy, she fights as an anti-Britannian operative. Also, Kallen helped organize the Black Knights.   Her brother, Naoto Kouzuki, with whom she had a deep connection, was a former leader of her resistance cell before his death.  Both Kallen's stepmother, a Britannian, and biological mother live with her in the same house, but her biological mother is employed as a maid and is often mistreated by both her stepmother and Kallen herself. After her biological mother is arrested for using Refrain (a fictional drug which lets people think they're reliving the past), Kallen changes her views and decides to fight against the Britannian Empire not only for her brother, but to fulfill her new wish for a world in which she can live happily with her biological mother.  Frail and meek, this aspect of Kallen's character was used as a public front to mask her true nature as well as hide her involvement in the resistance.  Kallen leads a double life as a normal Britannian student and as a member of a guerrilla resistance group against Britannia, which is later reformed into the Order of the Black Knights by Lelouch Lamperouge. In school, she portrays herself as a weak-bodied high school student who obeys all of the formalities, and goes by her Britannian name of Stadtfeld. However, her personality changes in to a very strong-willed and forceful one when she acts as a resistance fighter.  As a running gag, Kallen ends up nude or immodestly dressed in front of other people on numerous occasions: Lelouch sees her naked after she pulls back a shower curtain in surprise in the third episode, Suzaku sees her bathing under a waterfall when they are stranded on Kaminejima, she is forced to dress in an immodest bunny costume at the start of the second season (to plant a tracking device on Lelouch), and she walks in on a meeting between C.C. and the Chinese ambassadors wearing only a towel when intending to complain about the previous situation to C.C. (claiming that the operation would've gone faster if C.C. was wearing the outfit).

The faceless, short-hair older sister of Yoshitake who does not get along with her brother. Strong and violent, she is the ringleader of the girls who shave off Motoharu's beard. She is also highly concerned about not getting a boyfriend. She has a crush on Hidenori's older brother, Yuusuke.

The Gin Yomihime (銀読姫, literally "silver reading princess") or Silver Biblioprincess, otherwise known as the custodian of the Long-Lost Library. She is often called just "Flam" for short. She appears to be a girl in her teenage years, with long silver hair and sharp magenta eyes. She wears a white straitjacket with nine padlocks, although she says that she chose to wear it herself because she thought it "matches Hal's tastes". In comparison to Huey's technique of retrieving Phantom Books from Dalian, the method used by Hal to retrieve books from Flam is shown to be very raw, painful and less dignified. Anemone is a soldier of the United Federation and the pilot of the Nirvash typeTheEND. She regularly suffers from painful headaches, nose bleeds, and emotional instability, most of which can be temporarily treated with a drug injected into a receptor in her neck.

[Dewey Novak](https://anilist.co/character/4005/Dewey-Novak) assigns [Dominic Sorel](https://anilist.co/character/1910/Dominic-Sorel) to be her caretaker so he can monitor her condition. At times, Dominic injects neurological stimulants into her neck, which calms her mind and brings out her more focused, blood-lusting personality. In her drugged state, Anemone is almost unbeatable in the skies with TheEND. [Renton Thurston](https://anilist.co/character/477/Renton-Thurston) and [Eureka](https://anilist.co/character/1709/Eureka) have trouble fighting her with the Nirvash typeZERO, and [Holland Novak](https://anilist.co/character/1512/Holland-Novak) in his Terminus typeR909 LFO wasn't able to stand against her for very long. Thanks in part to her more advanced LFO, Anemone can outfly most regular LFOs.

Anemone is known to be a callous, moody, and violent girl towards others, prone to violent tantrums. When not under the effects of the neurological stimulant drugs, Anemone is often prone to violent tantrums and is very fearful at times when told to carry out a mission with TheEND. She is willing to do anything to please Dewey even if it is at the cost of her own life, and treats Dominic with contempt due to her belief that he doesn't understand what she is going through. She holds an unconcealed hatred towards Eureka and is determined to defeat her, along with the Nirvash and Renton. She never hesitates to back down from a mission, no matter how dire the situation is if it is what Dewey wants.

~!Anemone was biologically modified in some way to make her more like a Coralian (hence why her eyes look similar to Eureka's), and conditioned to pilot TheEND. Anemone is the only case that ever survived the medical treatments that the doctors put her through but was damaged both mentally and physically.

Even after everything she has experienced, Anemone seems to be fine with what Dewey's men have made her become. It is unclear whether she is ignorant that Dewey made her that way, or simply knows and doesn't care. She seemingly responds to Dewey with affection and respect, though later in the series she shows that she loathes Dewey when she is seen throwing a strand of his hair from her shoulder with disgust, hinting that her earlier displays of admiration were attempts to remain useful in his eyes so he wouldn't throw her away and possibly have her killed.!~

~!Dominic eventually falls in love with Anemone, but she doesn't return his feelings until very late in the series. Anemone begins to reciprocate Dominic's feelings after he is sent to retrieve her replacement by Dewey. These feelings culminate when she is sent on a suicide mission (unbeknownst to her, but she seems somewhat aware of the fact) to enter the Scub realm and electronically tag the Scub Coral Command Cluster with a transmitter, allowing Oratorio number eight (part of an orbiting weapons system) to target and destroy it.!~
