As shown in a flashback, Seychelles was raised by France. In Gakuen Hetalia, he is one of her love interests and in the prototype for the original version of the game, he was a “bad end.” The two seem to be somewhat close, as France was observed visiting her on several occasions. However, Seychelles finds him disgusting; he has tried touching and undressing her, all because he claims that he wants to see how her body has developed since she was a child.  Her other respective love interest in Gakuen Hetalia is England, the student council president. The second he met her, he made her his colony and slave, going so far as to strap a dog collar around her neck. Throughout the course of Gakuen Hetalia, Seychelles battles between her feelings for him and France. Despite this, it was shown in strips in the manga that they don’t really get along, and that Seychelles holds a grudge against him for how he’s treated her in the past.   Her personality is described as being that of, more or less, a big-hearted country girl who’s a bit tsundere. She relies completely on other countries for ideas as far as cooking and taste goes, and has hardly any natural resources, so all of her food and such is imported. Often seen worrying about her high cost of living and the fact that hardly anyone knows that she exists out there in the Indian Ocean, she can also be described as being a tad sloppy. She receives a handful of tourists every year, and is visited by France and England every now and again, so even though she has a high cost of living, she gets along pretty well. Seychelles is known to speak a “mysterious” language that is a mixture of English, French, and a bunch of other languages, so in a way, she’s kind of peculiar. According to the original Gakuen Hetalia prototype game, she lives with her grandfather. As shown in several instances, she’s obsessed with fish and is often depicted holding one.   It was revealed that the island that the Axis Powers and the Allies have been shipwrecked and stranded on is actually Seychelles herself. In her anime debut in Hetalia World Series, she was shown watching them from afar, wondering just how in the world they ended up on her.  Originally, Seychelles was drawn with one thick eyebrow and one thin eyebrow, possibly because of her former status as both a British and French colony.

Himea is a vampire with great powers and when she meets Taito, she falls in love with him. She puts a curse on him so that he will always be with her, but she is abducted by a strange boy and Taito loses the memories of their encounter for some years due to a spell. Himea fell for Taito, because he was the only one who didn't want her because of her vampire powers. This was probably because Taito didn't know that Himea is a vampire.

[Diana](https://anilist.co/character/27772) and [Opal's](https://anilist.co/character/83449) human partner and the series' main antagonist, She's the twin sister of [Yuuma](https://anilist.co/character/33653/Jinnai-Yuuma) and one of Fealina's twin children. Both Yuuma and Alma's mother died a long time ago during their childhood and Jewelina adopted her as her foster child. She then entrusted Halite and Moldavite to take care of her while in the Magic Academy. 

During that time, she didn't want to interact with everyone else around her or make new friends. Sometimes called the "strongest wizard in the Jewel Land" by Diana, she is a mysterious person who looks like Yuma except for the long braided hair at the back and the black outfit she wears. In the earlier episodes, she is either hiding in the shadows watching over Akari or she is seeing if she is able to do magic well, and her face is partially covered to prevent her identity to be revealed. Alma's face is revealed in episode 7, watching over Akari through a crystal ball. She revealed himself to Akari and her friends alongside Diana. She has overwhelming abilities and magical powers that can even rival Jewelina herself (it is later revealed that when Alma and Yuuma are together, Alma's powers actually exceed those of Jewelina despite Yuma being a completely normal and magic-less boy), but her magic has a terrible side effect as it drains away her life force and using it continuously would result in her death. It was revealed further that Alma was actually a girl after Opal used her Jewel Flash, letting Alma's black clothes change to a white dress. 

She and Yuuma were once together but both of them were separated by Jewelina during childhood due to fear of awakening of the forbidden item, the Battest. Because she misunderstood the reason as to why she and Yuma were separated, Alma wants to use the item to take revenge on Jewelina, revive her mother, and let Yuma, Alma herself, and their mother live together again.

~!During the Grand Prix Arc, it is shown that both she and Diana survived and entered the Jewel Star Grand Prix under the Alias Laiya. In her new Identity, her black hair is now colored white after absorbing some of the Battest's powers and somehow defeated both Hilde and Topaz during the preliminaries of the competition. During the Semi-Finals, she defeated and injured both Leon and Dian, resulting to her win. The power of the Battest finally awakens inside her body during the finals as she plans on eliminating not just Jewelina, but also Akari as well. She finally redeemed herself after sealing the Battest and reviving Diana, Opal and Fealina. By the OVA, she is now living alongside Fealina and Yuma in a family-run flower shop.!~

Ushio is the best friend of Sumika, the protagonist, and always has been —oblivious to Sumika's feelings for her (though she does at one point recognize that Sumika is in love, and feels guilty, even, for not realizing it sooner; she just doesn't understand that it's her Sumika feels that way with). Ushio has made it clear that Sumika isn't her type; Ushio's "type" consists of —cute— girl; small and feminine and innocently curious, the kind one would want to protect, and Sumika far from falls into that category.   Ushio is constantly falling for girls like that —only to find her crushes unrequited again and again, leaving Sumika to end up consoling her when her heart breaks. She wishes just once that she could find a girl who would return her feelings. Her spirits are lifted, however, upon a lesbian couple in her class forming the Girls Club for women interested in women with her and Sumika (and her straight friend Kiyori, who goes along with the idea due to make the necessary number of people needed to form a club).   Ushio lives only with her brother (a yuri novelist, ironically enough); her parents, she says, are "gone", her place a mess because of this. She seems to have gotten over what happened, for the most part, in the story.

Mimori comes across as a rather flighty young woman. She is almost always smiling and also seems a bit bad at reading the atmosphere. As she is from a very wealthy family, she often tries to solve problems using money. She honestly doesn't believe it to be showing off, however, and thinks it perfectly normal to completely refurnish the girls' restrooms, draw lots using solid gold sticks, and refurnish walls with gold plating. Despite her frivolous use of money, Mimori is still very polite and possibly the only main character who speaks using keigo.

Mrs. Tamaki is a very kind and understanding mother, supporting Ako's desire to play games, but wants her to make friends in school. Mrs. Tamaki can be easily too trusting or understanding as she let Ako continue to believe she has a 'husband' and letting Hideki, a teenage boy, to have the key to her daughter's room and their house. However, her heart is at the right place and believed in what's best for her child. Mrs. Tamaki doesn't seem to understand the sense of privacy as she has a spare key made for her daughter's room and goes in whenever she wants to check up on her as she believed that she has the right since she's a worried mother.
