Rek is Wavemaster and the assistant of Balmung, after Balmung becomes a System Adminstrator for C.C. Corp. Reki frequently acts as a proxy for his boss, since Balmung likes to participate in the events that he has planned. In real life, Reki is a history major.

Masaya Makino (牧野雅弥) is a friend of Mai Minase and Tomonari Kasumi. He is a member of their school&#039;s gaming club with Tomonari. While he has a character in The World, the name of it is unknown. 

The primary male protagonist of the series. He&#039;s a fairly average person and he doesn&#039;t fit the mold of the stereotypical male hero in most harem anime series. For the most part, he&#039;s shown to be a fairly good student and isn&#039;t prone to emotional outbursts unlike other leading males in harem anime. He&#039;s generally well liked and is a member of the photography club at Meiritsu University. Takuto was never well liked, he was always cold to his peers but respected for his talents. Little is known about him, for he doesn't talk. What we do know is that he's the last survivor of his clan. Brooklyn is the strongest competitor in the series which Kai and Tyson have to face. He is a naturally gifted Beyblader and doesn't need to try in order to win. There are two sides to his personality. First, the calm and seemingly gentle side and then the psychotic, aggressive side. He defeated Kai just like a child's play in their first match, though lost drastically in their second when Kai - as he himself stated - unleashed his "true" potential.He has always thought no one can beat him so he did not put ANY hard work into battling because of his "natural ability".   Like Tyson, he is at one with his bit beast, but Brooklyn forms physical traits of his bit beast, for instance wings form on his back that reflect his bit beast Zeus's wings.   His childhood reflected strongly in his personality. Because he always won, the other children did not want to play with him, so he was often left alone. During Brooklyn's Beyblade match with Tyson, because of Kai defeating him, he has turned insane. Brooklyn has always beybladed using only his natural ability, and because that was good enough to win he never put much energy into his matches. He realizes that, by using the combined powers of his emotions and abilities, he could create much more damage. Eventually, all his negative emotions reach their apex, especially his annoyance, frustration and sadness. These mix with the evil darkness of his demonic bit-beast, Zeus, and using King of Darkness attack, creates a black hole that proceeds to ravage and devour the entire world and everyone in it into his soul. Thus, he declares himself a god. He only calms down once Tyson explains to him the true meaning of Beyblading, using the power of the bit-beasts of his team-mates (Kai,Ray,Max and Daichi)and Tala's Wolborg (Tala woke up from his coma and sent Wolborg with his special ice attack to help Tyson) to dispel Zeus's darkness, returning the world to normal, albeit heavily ravaged. Once the chaos had passed, Tyson and Brooklyn continue their battle as it should have been, a friendly competition, free from the machinations of the now disgraced Boris. Tyson wins in the end due to Dragoon absorbing other bit-beasts's powers and then attacked and defeated Zeus. Both bladers then took their Beyblades and battled again, however, the victor was never actually shown. 

Kodama was the boy chosen to pilot Zearth during the third battle with the robot, Cancer. He was a relatively quiet boy who liked to keep to himself. His father was a wary individual who ran a civilian contracting company. Kodama's two gifted older brothers hate their father and try to go towards a different path, however Kodama looked up to him and his status as a "chosen" man. He even wore Kokopelli's glasses to seem smarter like his father. Being raised by his father seems to have warped Kodama's sense of ethics and morality to the point where he enjoys to take shots at stray cats with a pellet gun.   ~!During his time as a pilot he made no attempt to avoid casualties and marveled at the death being caused because of him. This sense of wonder was cut short when he was sent crashing down on top of his beloved father's car killing his father instantly. For a moment he was left totally stunned but he managed to shake himself out of it in time to kill Cancer using knowledge gained by having an understanding of construction. Rygart is the series&#039; main protagonist at the age of 25. He was born an un-sorcerer, meaning that he cannot use magic, unlike the majority of the worlds populace. Before he left to see Hodr, he worked on a farm with his brother who is also an un-sorcerer, because of this, his father sold all Quartz operated tools and worked with tools without Quartz to make the boys stronger and to keep them from feeling like outcasts. After his father took out loans, Rygart was able to attend Assam military school where he befriended Zess, Hodr, and Sigyn where the four of them were known as &quot;the four problem children of Assam&#039;s Military School&quot;, with him being known as the &quot;King of Make-up tests&quot;. He hated violence, but he later becomes the pilot of the Delphine, an ancient Golem designed for only an un-sorcerer&#039;s use as a Heavy Knight for Krisna. He originally joins to the army and war to protect his brother and friends but later admits he&#039;s really fighting to protect Sigyn who he really love. With the progress of story he understands the hard law of war &quot;Kill or be killed&quot; and after the death of a dear friend and companion in battle that took place before his eyes, he starts to fight in a much more decisive and ruthless.

Gino Weinberg is the Knight of Three, a seventeen-year-old ace pilot of noble descent. Gino comes from a very rich upbringing, and as such doesn't quite understand how the real world works. However, his cheerfulness and friendly demeanor earn him many friends. He takes an immediate liking to Suzaku upon his appointment to the Knights of Rounds. He pilots the transformable Knightmare Frame Tristan.  Gino is impressed when Kallen defeats both him and Anya in her upgraded Guren Flight-Enabled Version, remarking that her skill is on the level of a member of the Knights of Rounds. He also expresses disappointment at not getting a rematch when she is captured by Li Xingke. He enrolls in Ashford Academy with Anya to learn what it's like to live as a regular person.  During Kallen's imprisonment in Tokyo, Gino visits her and asks if she has any intention coming back to Brittannia under the name of Stadtfeld. The attack on the settlement interrupts their conversation, but he gets his answer when she is set free and joins the battle. She confirms for him that she has chosen the name of Kōzuki, and when asked whether them meeting on the battlefied is a reason to be happy or sad, he claims that they should enjoy it. He then asks Suzaku to let him deal with Kallen himself, but Suzaku insists that she would not let him off so easily and stays to fight her.


Marcus Damon, is a fictional character in the Digimon Data Squad series. His name, Masaru, means Victory in Japanese. He is the first human lead of any Digimon serial, excluding C'mon Digimon, that doesn't wear goggles. Marcus is also the first human protagonist to physically hurt Digimon on a regular basis.  Marcus is presented as a fourteen year-old student who loves to fight. He lives with his mother and younger sister Kristy (Chika). Marcus meets and fights Agumon in the first episode of the series. When the fight ends in a draw, Agumon agrees to become his partner. Soon afterwards he's recruited as a member of D.A.T.S. As Marcus's partner, Agumon idolizes him and refers to him as his "aniki" (a Japanese colloquialism for "older brother," used in this case with the connotation of "boss" as seen in the Yakuza).  Marcus is one of the few humans shown to fight Digimon by himself, though he still counts on Agumon's help to fight the stronger opponents.
