Garou is a former disciple of Bang, but was kicked out from his dojo for going on a rampage. He's one of the strongest characters in the series and plays a major role as the main villain in the Hero Hunt arc.

Garou is introduced as an evil character with a hatred for heroes and a confident, vindictive personality. He hates being insulted and will attack or kill any who offend him. He thinks highly of himself and uses that assertion to threaten high ranking personal such as heroes and Shicchi. He does not consider other human villains to be allies, wiping out a large group of them along with the heroes present. He will also attack low ranked hero and hero staff members if he encounters them. A large aspect of his personality seems to be some sort of disdain for his former master, Bang, enough to avoid using the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist he was taught unless seriously cornered.

He has no remorse even for people who aid him, as he smashed Licenseless Rider's face soon after the latter defended him.

Although Garou is an evil character, he possesses some kind of morality: he lets heroes live so that they can grow stronger and fight him again.

In some ways, Garou can be considered the opposite to Saitama. Where Saitama wanted to be a hero who fought villains from his childhood, Garou wanted to be a monster who defeated heroes. While Garou is a genius fighter, Saitama had to work extremely hard to get his strength. Garou means werewolf in french. 


Hiroto is a boy attending a high school in a seaside city. He has a lot of experience in Gunpla Battle Nexus Online and is a great Gunpla builder and fighter. Recently, he's become a mercenary and searching for someone that went missing in GBN a long time ago. Hiroto is disinterested in joining any force until the BUILD DiVERS is formed by accident.

Tsukasa Kazuki's an easygoing and reliable friend. He is somewhat air-headed and oblivious, but because of his kind personality, Tsukasa can let his guard down around him. He is puzzled by Tsukasa's cold attitude to girls and often apologizes on his friend's behalf. Before Anzu, Makoto was Tsukasa's only friend at this new school. 

He has older sisters who are boorish and slovenly around his house, which has made him less interested in having a dating life. He admires Junta for his athleticism and handsomeness, fawning over how cool Junta must be. When Saki was uncomfortable after seeing her middle school abuser at a Summer Festival, Makoto was able to read the signs and swoop Saki away by the hand. It is implied that Saki was impressed by this and that she may be developing feelings for him.

Being the vice captain, Sugawara has a soothing personality for his teammates and acts as a pillar of support for them. Even though he isn't Karasuno's official setter anymore, he doesn't dream of giving up on playing in general. As such, he encourages himself and all of his teammates not to give up, no matter how rough the situation might be.

Sugawara's dedication to volleyball is clear when he decides to continue club activities even when most third years choose to retire to focus on their futures. In a meeting, his teacher asked Sugawara why he's so determined to continue playing even though he's not a starting member, and Sugawara replied that he doesn't want to have regrets in the future.

He is also quite perceptive as he noticed how Tanaka asked for the key to the gym (back during the first years' 3-on-3 match) even though he always comes in late, so Sugawara knew that something was up. He is also intelligent as he can come up with helpful tactics during the game. An example of this is when he came up with the idea of saying "bring it" and "send it to me" for Kageyama and Hinata's combo.
