Doraemon is a robotic cat (though he is frequently mistaken as a tanuki) that was sent back in time to help Nobita.  He has a 4-dimensional pocket on his front chest from which he can pull out all sorts of strange futuristic gadgets. Doraemon's favourite food is dorayaki. He has a sister named Dorami.

Saki is a cheerful athletic girl and a member of Yuunagi Middle School's girls' softball team. She is excellent at sports but not very good at school (but still a bright individual), loves sweets and has a large appetite. Although Saki appears childish at times, she is lenient and gregarious, and her cheerful and easygoing personality often makes people happy and befriended. Her family runs the PANPAKA Pan Bakery. She is very energetic and optimistic girl whose hopeful nature often inspires or encourages others. She is selfless and kind but has a short temper at times. While she is good at baking delicious bread, she seems to struggle with making other things.
