Prior to the hunter exam, Leorio's close friend died to a curable illness, and Leorio was unable to save him due to his lack of money and knowledge. Because of this. he aims to become a doctor in order to help those without the money to pay for treatment.  In order to cover his tuition for medical school, he decides to take the hunter exam, where he meets Gon, Killua, and Kurapika. Leorio is also talented at bargaining, being able to haggle shopkeepers to no end. He often seems brash and rude, but overall he cares deeply for his friends. Leorio is an emitter, although learning nen did not come easily to him.

Zeno Zoldyck is Killua's grandfather and Silva's father. A witty old man, his advancing age has not dampened his quick thinking and speed in battle. Zeno wears alternating signs on his garb that say either "A Kill A Day" or "Never Retire." He appears to be on good terms with the Hunter Committee's Chairman, Netero, who hired Zeno to assault Ming Jol-ik's palace in East Gorteau in order to catch the chimera ant King off guard. Zeno favors Killua more than his other grandchildren, most likely because Killua is the heir of the family.

The Economics Teacher and the Housemaster of Dormitory 2, Cline Hall at Eden Academy. He is the only son of the former Headmaster of Eden Academy. His wife filed for divorce a month before the Eden Academy admissions interview, where she won full custody of their only daughter.

Franky is an informant who seemingly works at a tobacco store and presumably works for Loid Forger's agency. He gets information regarding Eden Academy's exam and Anya Forger's past records for Loid Forger.

Franky is a kind person willing to help Loid out when he's in a pinch even though the danger is high. He frequently warns Loid Forger not to get too close to other people in their line of work.

He frequently falls in love with other women but his love life typically fails due to lack of mutual interest or they are already with someone else.

Formerly the chief of the goblin village Rimuru comes across. He's now the acting prime minister of the Jura Tempest Federation. He evolved into a hobgoblin when Rimuru named him.

He is the vice-president of the Moderate Jesters and as that a loyal subordinate of Demon Lord Kazaream.

Robert E. O. Speedwagon is a major ally featured in the 1st part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Phantom Blood, and then the 2nd part, Battle Tendency. Formerly a Londoner thug residing in Ogre Street, Speedwagon befriends Jonathan Joestar and, despite remaining a powerless human, becomes a loyal ally to the Joestar Family during his whole life and beyond thanks to the company he's founded: the Speedwagon Foundation. His company supports the Joestars in Stardust Crusaders, Diamond is Unbreakable, and Stone Ocean.

A member of the Karasuno High volleyball club. Tsukishima is very blunt and will sometimes rile his teammates up due to his antagonistic nature (most notably being Hinata, Kageyama, Nishinoya, and Tanaka) and sometimes other teams because of his casual smug attitude, taking pride in and relishing when his opponents see him as a nuisance as seen with Tendō and Shirabu. Tsukishima is standoffish and has an arrogant and condescending personality, but he has low self-esteem and thinks of himself as inferior. Although he is only outwardly close with Yamaguchi, he can be seen occasionally caring about his other club members.

Volleyball club faculty advisor of the Karasuno High School.  Takeda is inexperienced in volleyball, but still became an advisor for Karasuno. He often doesn't understand rules and that's why he takes notes about every new thing he learns. Takeda has an enthusiastic and brave personality.

Hinata's good friend back when they still were attending Yukigaoka Junior High. He's playing soccer.
