She made her entertainment debut in 2015 by appearing in YouTube videos with her brother, Kaitou PINKID (怪盗ピンキー, Kaitō Pinkī)

On February 2017, she joined the talent agency VAZ and opened her YouTube channel, "Yuna Channel" (ゆなちゃんねる, Yuna Channeru) under her mononymous screen name of Yuna (ゆな), and her subscriber count exceeded 200 thousand in 2 weeks.

On December the same year, she became a regular model for the fashion magazine Popteen while competing with other regular models to be promoted to exclusive model status. She became an exclusive model for the magazine in July of 2019.

On June 1, 2022, Kojima announced that she would change her stage name from "Yuna" to "Yuna Hoshino". The reason for the name change was that she wanted to use the name given to her by her parents, while her surname was chosen based on her recent fortune.

Hoshino's portrayal as Neon Kurama in Kamen Rider Geats marks her debut in a television drama.
