Maquia is a 15-year-old Iorphian orphan. She adopts Ariel after her country is destroyed in an attack by the Mezarte nation.

A Cthuko (another alien species), who is Nyaruko's childhood friend from kindergarten and elementary school. Instead of thinking of Nyaruko as her enemy (because they're different species, and both Cthuko and Nyarlotephian are enemies), she loves her deeply. Kuko is usually quiet and blushes a lot. She has really perverted thoughts. Nyaruko calls her 'NEET', due to the fact that she loves games.

A middle schoolgirl who Ika makes friends with after a prank gone wrong. She is the first person who Ika makes friends with and they soon become best friends. She is also on a baseball team.

The 15-year-old protagonist of season five, FLCL Shoegaze. She is a high school student who befriends Masaki Aofuji and helps him investigate the tower.

A member of Argus Test Flight, Tarisa rarely backs down from a challenge, and does not take well to losing in anything, being ignored, or having her intentions rebuffed. Tarisa is a Gurkha, a tribe of brave mountain fighters. She particularly excels in high-speed hand-to-hand combat, and has developed her own unit style of high-speed tactics she calls the “Kukri Knife”, after a traditional Gurkha dagger. 

Tarisa is known for wearing her heart on her sleeve; she's quick to voice her dissatisfaction with any attitude or order she doesn't like, and the first to ask where or what's wrong with Yuuya. Her nickname 'Chobi' given by Yuuya quickly became popular in Argus. 

Her parents, little brother and big sister are all missing. Prior to her deployment to Yukon Base, Tarisa served as a development officer for the F-5G Tigershark, at the Andaman Base Group in the Indian Ocean. 

Amongst the undine companies, it&#039;s a tradition to keep a blue-eyed cat (breed is not a problem here) as mascot for good luck.    President Aria is the Aria Company&#039;s mascot, a male Aqua breed feline (common trait are bigger than Earth breed and human-level intelligence). He is smart enough to understand human speech. President Aria was a stray cat before being taken in by Grandma twenty years ago and has been the company&#039;s mascot ever since.    He really loves to eat - coupled with Alicia and Akari doting on him - making him really chubby. Kotonami&#039;s character, at first glance, looks like she was being set up to be the villain to Kyōko&#039;s angel, but as with all of the female characters in this series, Kanae is much nicer than she appears. While there was fur flying about at the beginning, both girls had a need for a true friend, and are finding that in each other. Kanae desperately wanted to be a star and was at the same audition as Kyōko, but while she did better than Kyōko, she also failed. She became the second member of Love Me, and has used that to her advantage. Kanae puts up a strong front, but is very self-conscious and is prone to self doubt. It is later revealed that Kotonami has problem dealing with kids, stemming from the fact that she comes from a large family with an obscenely large amount of nieces, nephews, and siblings.    During the series progress she became friends with Kyoko.

She's the leader of the yankee girls and once posed as the legendary "Onihime".  She told her three followers to bring Himeko to the park near a train station to beat her up. She later then found out that the legendary "Onihime" was Himeko herself. After finding the truth, she became Himeko's follower and would only listen to her.  

Momoka herself at first was a very hot-blooded girl who tried to mimic "Onihime", but it was Bossun who first realized her talent as a seiyuu with her cute voice over the phone. She is a kind, helpful, passionate and a very considerate person. She is also a very shy girl and tried to hide her cuteness through her delinquent attitude. She is also multi-talented enough to do everything from acting, voice overs and singing. She always tries her best to reach the expectations of people around her (her agents, directors and friends). She is also a hardworking person with the aim to do everything at her best.
