Beckmann is a tall man, standing at a height of 206 cm. His hair was jet black and pulled back in a pony tail 12 years ago in Monkey D. Luffy's hometown; in the current storyline, his hair has turned gray and is cut short. He is never seen without his rifle nearby or a cigarette in his mouth. He also now has a large, X-shaped scar on his left temple.

His outfit has changed very little over the years since his first appearance; he now wears a black, v-neck shirt with three quarter sleeves (whereas he is previously seen wearing a short-sleeved shirt of a similar color and design) along with loose pants (originally of a dark green color, but presently gray) with numerous pockets on them, tucked inside his buckled boots. Like most of the other Red Hair Pirates, he wears a sash around his waist, to which he attaches his rifle in a pistol-like fashion. The only thing added to his attire is his spiral-patterned cloak.

Beckmann has the highest IQ of anyone in the East Blue. Beckmann carries a flintlock rifle with him, but he has yet to fire it, instead using it as a club on Higuma's men and as a threat against Kizaru.

Cabaji is the second mate in Buggy's crew as well as their primary swordsman who combines it with acrobatics (mostly on a unicycle) to fight his enemies. He fights with Roronoa Zoro no sooner than after being introduced and plays dirty by kicking Zoro's wounds whenever he has the chance. But once Cabaji is knocked off his unicycle, he is easily defeated by Zoro's 'Oni Giri' which cuts open his chest.  After Buggy's crew was defeated by Luffy, he fought with the 'other' first mate Mohji for the title for the next captain--both were knocked out by a sleepwalking Richie, who gained the title (though lost it just as quick). However, he returned to his former position when Buggy resurfaced.  During the Loguetown attack, Cabaji accompanied Buggy and Alvida to fight against the Straw Hats and Navy. However, despite wanting to have a rematch with Zoro, he didn't get a chance to do so.

A rather large bodied man who's a member of "Red-Haired" Shanks' crew, he's always seen eating a piece of meat. 

He seems to be one of Shanks's most trusted crew members, as he is always seen when the Red Hair Pirates are featured, usually when something crucial happens. He shares this trait with Benn Beckman and Yasopp. He is the first person to actually kill someone in One Piece and sets the stage for the series: A pirate's life is a dangerous one.

~!He is also the one who found the Gomu Gomu no Mi which was eaten by Monkey D. Luffy. !~
