William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's greatest dramatist.

He is the new percussion instructor for the Kitauji Concert Band, hired by Noboru Taki, his then college classmate, to help with the band on their path to the national band competition. He is an alumnus of Kitauji High School and a former student of Tohru Taki. He is fun-loving, athletic, and humorous, and is consequently highly popular with his percussion students.
