Yumeko’s classmate. Cowardly and poor, he quickly ends up being treated as Meari’s livestock, and is called ‘Pochi’ (a common name for a dog). However, he is saved from this predicament by Yumeko.

He is quick tempered and gets angry easily, he is a person who despises "annoying" people like Matsukaze and even Coach Endou. Despite this, he cares for the team deeply. Also, he might not look like it but, when Endou Mamoru left the Raimon team, he was also sad along with the whole team, this shows that he actually cared for their coach. As time passed and more and more matches had passed, he started to be nicer to Tenma, though still referring him as an annoying person.Also he started to care more for soccer and was more determined to win. He's a forward for Raimon.

Saw Paing is a Burmese fighter with a lean and tall physique. He arguably appears much younger than he is, with a youthful and hairless face and spiky, voluminous brown hair and hazel eyes. True to his personality, he often sports a determined and enthusiastic expression with wide eyes and a perpetual grin.

Saw Paing is the polar opposite of his self-proclaimed rival, <a href="https://anilist.co/character/143861/Gaolang-Wongsawat">Gaolan Wongsawat</a> while the latter is calm and apathetic, Saw Paing is hot-blooded, brash, and easily excitable. He is a frequent shouter and yells loud enough to drown out the announcer on the mic in a crowded stadium. His adoptive father, Sanemitsu, casually states that Saw Paing is not a very intelligent person, though he does have (a certain degree of) common sense. Despite his hot-blooded nature, Saw Paing is surprisingly understanding, such as delaying fights with Gaolan if the latter has an appointment.

His rivalry with Gaolan is seemingly one-sided; after Kaolan beat him in a cross-border match at age 16, he frequently sneaks across the border to challenge him to a rematch, even climbing up Kaolan's high-rise apartment to do so, much to the latter's annoyance.
