Mai Valentine, known as Mai Kujaku in the manga and Japanese anime, is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! second series anime and Yu-Gi-Oh! manga    &quot;Kujaku&quot; means &quot;peahen&quot;. Her name in the English anime is a pun of &quot;My Valentine&quot;.     At the beginning of the series, Mai is a self-absorbed woman who is only set out for prize money, personal satisfaction and power.    Mai is extremely lonely and convinces herself she doesn&#039;t need friends at first. At one point she believed her &quot;Harpie Lady&quot; cards were the closest she would have to friends.    Mai&#039;s selfish attitude and outlook on life continues until she meets and finds meaning with Yugi Muto and his friends (of course, she also has a soft spot for Joey). After she meets them, she seems to start caring more for her friends and the deeper meanings of the game. Later on in the series, Mai&#039;s wins become empty and her feelings of loneliness return. However, as the series continues she appears to regain her self-esteem and pride as a true duelist.    In the Japanese version; Mai typically uses a quite informal manner of speech. She commonly omits honorifics when speaking with others, but addresses Anzu and Shizuka as &quot;-chan.&quot; She uses the informal and potentially condescending &quot;anta&quot;, a contraction of the more formal &quot;anata&quot; (similar to the English &quot;hun&quot; from &quot;honey&quot;). She uses the personal pronoun &quot;atakushi&quot;, which tends to be a more elegant, if not older, form of self-reference.

Insector Haga is the Japanese champion at Duel Monsters (Magic and Wizards in the original manga), hailing from East Japan. He is a cunning trickster who has no qualms about cheating or misconduct in or around his duels. Despite this, he is actually a very talented duelist who plays with a deck of Insect cards.  Haga develops into a rival of Yugi Mutou. He is jealous and adores insects, for his deck is mainly insect-type monsters and insect-related magic and trap cards.    Source: Wikipedia.

Yamato and Musashi are rivals: their banter back-and-forth, in which they are very candid about their dislike for the other, has revealed that they knew each other when they were young. Many fans have speculated that the two women were once friends. This theory would be logical, as since both women clearly knew each other and both women chose to join Team Rocket, it would make sense that Yamato, as was the case with Musashi, had at least one parent who was a Team Rocket Agent.    Also, in a Battle Frontier episode, Takeshi falls for Yamato who is disguised as Nurse Joy, but senses something wrong with her due to his innate knowledge of the Joys.    In the Japanese version, Yamato is voiced by Masako Katsuki, while in the English version, Yamato is voiced by Megan Hollingshead then Andi Whaley then Hilary Thomas.    *Wikipedia

Monica is a character of the day who appeared in DP84. She is the housekeeper of Mr. Backlot's mansion and Trophy Garden estate.

Officer Jenny is not a single entity. Rather, there are many Jennys working as police officers across the various regions of the Pokémon world.  Generally, Officer Jennies are brave and determined, but mostly ineffective in their police duties. They fight against the likes of Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua and Team Galactic - among other miscellaneous criminals. The town/region where a certain Jenny comes from can be discerned by the symbol on their hats which always differs depending on location.  Although Jennies appear mostly identical, there is some minor divergence among them, as evidenced by Brock, who is able to recognize different Jennies on numerous occasions. Brock appears to be the only character who can tell them apart. However, each Jenny has a different symbol on her hat that indicates location. There seem to be two Viridian Jennies, as during the Indigo League, two Jennies with the same hat symbol were seen side-by-side. (We know that the symbol in question--a star--indicates Viridian due to previous episodes.) One of the Viridian Jennies maintains a fierce rivalry with the Jenny of Eterna City. Although there are many exceptions, Officer Jenny will generally have Growlithe to use as a police dog.  There is a very distinct parallel between the families of Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. This may indicate some sort of relation or deeper connection, and fans have sometimes speculated about such. However, the only thing known about the two families is that they are apparently on good terms.  Ash's Squirtle was given to an Officer Jenny who fights fires. It is the leader of a group of four other Squirtle known as the "Squirtle Squad", who serve as the local firefighting team.  A young Officer Jenny named Marble appeared in Luxray Vision!. She was in charge of looking for "The Bandit Beauties Three." She was also voiced by 西村ちなみ Chinami Nishimura in Japanese, but voiced by Meghan McCracken in English.  An Officer Jenny from Kanto appeared in Stealing the Conversation! with a Chatot as her partner. Apparently, she had come all the way to Sinnoh to capture Jessie, James, and Meowth. 

Claire (Ibuki in original Japanese language versions) is in charge of the Rising Badge, and resides in Blackthorn City. She is an expert on Dragon types. Lance, the head of the Kanto Elite Four, is her cousin, and she once trained with him for the Elite Four. In Pok&eacute;mon Crystal, she also has a grandfather who lives inside the Dragon&#039;s Den. Her English name derives from &quot;clear&quot;.    In the anime  After Ash Ketchum and his friends arrive at Blackthorn City, they discover a Dratini and a Gyarados in a river. Afterwards, they meet Clair and follow the Dratini for some time, and end up freeing it from Team Rocket. Later, Dratini evolves into a Dragonair, much to Jessie&#039;s dismay. Clair performs the Dragon Fang ritual at a ceremony, then faces Ash in a Gym Battle, which is interrupted when Team Rocket steals the Dragon Fang. Ash, Clair and Team Rocket all end up in the Dragon Holy Land, where Team Rocket tricks a Dragonite into helping them. Luckily, Liza and Ash&#039;s Charizard arrive to save the day. Ash&#039;s Charizard later helps him earn him his rising badge by beating Clair&#039;s Dragonair (Kingdra was defeated by Snorlax and Gyrados by Pikachu).Claire also appeared in the next episode where she helped Ash get his badges which were stolen by Team Rocket.    In the manga  In Pok&eacute;mon Adventures, Clair is one of the first to meet Suicune and she is outclassed quickly by its use of Mist to create a reflection of itself. Later, she challenges Blaine at the Gym Leaders&#039; Challenge, in the hope that Blaine would know what became of her cousin Lance after Blaine and Lance&#039;s battle at Cerise Island the year before. Despite a Team Rocket attack which traps all the Gym Leaders on a bullet train, she forces Blaine into fighting their duel. However, Blaine quickly wins, relying on his Entei&#039;s powerful attacks. This victory is the tiebreaker in the Gym Leaders&#039; Challenge, giving the win to the Kanto Gym Leaders with four wins, three loses and one draw.

Jasmine (Mikan in original Japanese language versions) is in charge of the Mineral Badge (Steel Badge in Japanese), and resides in Olivine City. She is an expert on Steel types, but also has an Ampharos which lights the Olivine Lighthouse. Her name is related to the word mineral or mine.    In the anime  In the anime, Jasmine&#039;s Ampharos, named Sparkle, is used to light the way over the shore but it has become ill. She asks Ash to fetch her medicine from Cianwood City, and Ash and his friends retrieve the medicine and send it back with one of Jasmine&#039;s students, Janina. Several weeks later, Ash and his friends return from the Whirl Islands and Ash challenges Jasmine to a Gym battle. Ash&#039;s Pikachu defeats Jasmine&#039;s Magnemite but is defeated by Steelix. However Ash&#039;s Cyndaquil came through and beat Steelix with great difficulty earning Ash his Mineral Badge.  Unlike her other incarnations, the anime Jasmine is a far more confident girl, especially during her second appearance, where she makes an entrance via summoning her Steelix as she herself somersaults off the cliff she is standing on then landing on her Steelix. Later, during the Gym match, she appears to be anything but meek since she doesn&#039;t hestiate to tell Ash she will not make the battle easy for him.    In the manga  In Pok&eacute;mon Adventures, Jasmine is caught in an earthquake caused by Team Rocket while traveling through Ecruteak City, and when she climbs the Tin Tower to get away from the shaking she gets caught in some rubble. Using Ampharos to send off a distress flare, she catches the attention of both Gold and Silver. The two boys try to rescue her, but Ampharos does it successfully, leaving the young rivals trapped in the tower.  Jasmine later recovers. At the Pok&eacute;mon League Tournament, she fights against and defeats Brock. She covers her Steelix in rubble to make it look like an Onix, thinking that the newly-discovered Steel Pok&eacute;mon would be too horrifying for people to see. Jasmine once specialized in Rock-type Pok&eacute;mon before Crystal and Professor Oak discovered Steel-type Pok&eacute;mon. Her two Togetics are the parents of Gold&#039;s Togepi.

In the original Japanese version, Casey speaks with a Kansai dialect, which would suggest that she is from the Pok&eacute;mon world&#039;s equivalent of Osaka, Goldenrod City. Adding to this is Casey&#039;s love of the Electabuzz baseball team, an analogue to the real world Osaka baseball team, the Hanshin Tigers. Not only is there a similarity in both Electabuzz and tigers being striped animals, but the Hanshin Tigers are known for having a very loyal fanbase.     Casey has been compared to Ash in his early days of Pok&eacute;mon training. However, they have different styles of training, and different tastes in Pok&eacute;mon.     

She is a nun who lives in a temple in Johto between Mahogany Town and Blackthorn City. She is the follower of a religion similar to Buddhism in which the founder meditated along with Slowpoke until he cleared his head of all worldly thoughts and found enlightenment.    Apparently, she meditated along with Gary, spurring on Ash to attempt the temple training as well, although he wasn&#039;t successful.

He's the little brother of Haruka. He doesn't have Pokémon because he isn't 10 years or older. He always carries along his PokéNav to find their way.

Kaiba&#039;s little brother. Mokuba is always following Seto where ever he goes. He has a very strong bond with his brother and has all of his faith within Seto as well. Mokuba helps run Seto&#039;s company and will do what ever it takes to please his brother.
