The Earth Team's co-mechanic and electronics specialist. Originally working at Miguel's Garage, he is hired by Don Wei as part of the Earth Team. Shy and non-combative by nature, he prefers to avoid conflicts but his quick thinking has saved the Earth Team on many occasions. Masquerade is a very mysterious character who has one goal; send all Bakugan to the Doom Dimension. A great Bakugan player and Dan’s main rival, he wears a mask and no-one knows his true identity. In battle Masquerade is so dangerous because he carries the doom card, allowing him to send the losing Bakugan to the Doom Dimension. He has teamed up with Hal-G and together, their quest is to ensure the dark side wins by drawing in all the negative energy making Naga the supreme ruler in both Vestroia and Earth! He is a master of the darkness attribute.    In Polish dubbing he is voiced by Karol Wróblewski. 

Ryuusei Hagane is a recurring character in Metal Fight Beyblade. He is the father of Ginga. His alter-ego is the powerful blader, Phoenix. He uses the Beyblade Burn Fireblaze 135MS.

Kiki's father; according to Miyazaki he is a professor of folklore. He has no magic lineage. He met Kiki's mother when they were both young; when she came to his town on her traditional witch training leave. According to character designer Katsuya Kondo he depicted Okino's appearance on actors David McCallum and Akira Terao.

Zipp (Japanese: ジップ Zip) is a recurring character who appeared in the Pokémon anime. He is a member of Team Skull, who often appears alongside Tupp and Rapp.

Shigeru is a character who is roughly the same age as Satoshi (though Shigeru is assumed to be slightly older, due to the height difference between the two); they were playmates and next-door neighbors when they were younger, but drifted apart when they both discovered their love of Pokémon, according to the video game. At the start of the series his rivalry with Satoshi becomes a recurring motif. Like the video games, manga and anime, Shigeru is described as an overconfident and arrogant trainer who's knowledge of Pokemon stems from being the grandson of Professor Ookido. As Satoshi's rival, he always seems to be a few steps ahead of Satoshi, much to Satoshi's chagrin.  Prior to his introduction, Shigeru usually comes off as an arrogant show-off in the beginning. However, his personality begins to change as he matures. Later on in the series, he grows into a nicer and more humble person in both the anime and the video games. Throughout most of the series, he and Satoshi have an ongoing rivalry through most of the Kanto and Johto League sagas. However, this would soon diminish at later point. After his crushing defeat at the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League, his attitude towards Ash, who finished in the top sixteen far ahead of his rival, changes significantly after this turning point. His dealings with Pokemon seem to mature, as he starts travelling alone, wanting to better reestablish himself as a trainer.  His rivalry with Satoshi comes to a head at the Johto Leaue Silver Conference semi-finals, both trainers giving it their all, with Satoshi narrowly coming out the victor. After his lost, he then decides to no longer compete for the same goal as Satoshi, but instead dedicate his career into Pokemon research. Although no longer Satoshi's rival, he does tend to motivate Satoshi on ways of bettering himself as a trainer, at times scolding Satoshi when becoming overconfident over his wins particularly in the Orange League and Battle Frontier. In a sense, Shigeru is what urges Satoshi to start yet another new journey by traveling to the different regions across the world, such as Johto and Sinnoh. Despite his many absences in the series, Shigeru continues to remain a vital character, and one of Satoshi's most valued friends. He is bound to make more appearances during the Diamond and Pearl Saga, since he seems to have decided to be both a Pokémon trainer and a Pokémon researcher there. He guest-appears in episode forty-five of the Diamond and Pearl series helping to preserve a group of highly endangered Shieldon with Professor Rowan and his team.   __Pokemon ( on hand )__   Squirtle &gt; Wartortle &gt; Blastoise  Squirtle was the first Pokemon that Shigeru received, and has evolved into a Wartortle and then into Blastoise. It has never been removed from Shigeru’s active lineup and is his most powerful Pokemon, having defeated Satoshi’s Heracross and Bayleef. However, Blastoise was defeated by Satoshi’s Charizard despite having a clear Type advantage because Ash’s Charizard was more experienced. When Shigeru left on his new journey after the Johto League, he only took Blastoise with him, a gesture Satoshi would follow when leaving for Hoenn, only taking Pikachu and leaving the rest with Professor Oak. His Squirtle was seen only in a flashback in the episode "Challenge of the Samurai" while the Wartortle was never seen.    Doduo &gt; Dodrio Dodrio evolved from a Doduo that Shigeru had previously caught, and is one of the few Pokemon that he continued to carry with him after retiring from competition to become a Pokemon researcher.    Eevee &gt; Umbreon Umbreon evolved from Shigeru’s Eevee. Umbreon's main assets are its Agility, and it also seems to be Shigeru’s favorite Pokemon. In Episode 118, "The Rivalry Revival", Shigeru uses his Eevee in a battle against Satoshi's Pikachu. Takeshi remarks that the Eevee has bright eyes and a shiny coat of fur, revealing its high level of experience. Eevee ultimately defeated Pikachu, using a Take Down to knockout its opponent. Kenji noted that Shigeru 's Eevee was ready to evolve into a Stage-1 Pokemon, which happened before the events in Episode 173, "Power Play", in which Satoshi and his companions discover that the Eevee had evolved into an Umbreon. Conway was shown to be a very smart Trainer. His strategies played an important role in helping himself and Dawn to advance to the finals of the Hearthome City Tag Battle Competition. Conway appears again in Camping It Up! through One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team! during a four-episode arc at a summer school. During this arc he demonstrates his knowledge about Pok&eacute;mon as well as an attraction towards Dawn. He later appears at the end of the opening The Greatest - Everyday!.    Conway uses very effective strategies, but doesn&#039;t improvise much, something that has led to several losses for him. Cyrus is Team Galactic&#039;s leader.    He made his first appearance in Losing Its Lustrous! and Double Team Turnover!, along with Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. It was revealed that he is a rich businessman who has made most of the buildings and libraries throughout Sinnoh. However, Ash and the others do not know that he is also the Team Galactic leader. Using his businessman alter-ego, he visits the Celestic Town Historical Research Center while the remaining members of Team Galactic carry out a plan to steal the Lustrous Orb from the Research Center, after having already stolen the Adamant Orb from its Eterna City police escort.    He discovers from Ash and Dawn that they have seen Azelf and Mesprit when the two tell of their encounters with the mysterious Pok&eacute;mon at Lake Verity and Lake Valor, which apparently intrigues him    He appeared again in Saving the World From Ruins!. He was seen in Team Galactic&#039;s headquarters alongside Saturn and Jupiter as well as Charon. They were coordinating Mars&#039;s mission on Iron Island and using a beam launched with the Spear Key to scan energy readings from the Spear Pillar. However, Mars&#039;s machine was destroyed when the scan had reached only 60%, presumably ruining their mission. Despite this, Cyrus did not appear to be discouraged.  Cyrus takes control of Dialga and Palkia with the Red Chain    Cyrus also appeared towards the end of Unlocking the Red Chain of Events!, where he requested J&#039;s services in capturing Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. In The Battle Finale of Legend!, he takes control of Dialga and Palkia, and steps into a portal created by the two legendary Pok&eacute;mon. The portal soon got destroyed, leaving Cyrus&#039;s fate unknown.

The Tower Tycoon Palmer is the leader of the Battle Tower in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. He is Pearl's father. He is very similar to his son in look and character, as he' always in a rush. He is probably a good friend of the unknown father of the player character. Just like the player and his rival did, he also got to a lake with the player's father and was also attacked by wild Pokémon.
