As his fuel finally depletes he becomes surrounded by a group of Titans and is killed. Jean, who was in charge of the squad, capitalized on the opportunity and used him as bait to distract the Titans while the rest of the squad made their way back to the Headquarters to resupply. He has a strong crush on [Chizuru](https://anilist.co/character/34654) that she seems to not be aware of. He even keeps a picture of her as his phone's background image. Because of this crush, he seemingly can't refuse any request made by Chizuru.

Akatsuki&#039;s older brother, who works in the trading business and is known to travel back and forth between Aqua and Man-Home. He considers himself to be among the elite, and enjoys antagonizing his brother from time to time when they meet. In the anime, it is implied that he also lends his brother money from time to time.    At one point, he rents Akari&#039;s gondola for the sake of transporting some (Neo) Venezian glass, and after the job is completed, he compliments her for a job well done. &quot;You accepted the job and saw it through. That&#039;s what it takes to be a professional&quot;.

Yamada Asaemon Senta is the 5th rank Asaemon in the Yamada Clan. After the shogun sent criminals to Kotaku to find the Elixir of Life, he was tasked with being [Yuzuriha's](https://anilist.co/character/137270/Yuzuriha) executioner.

Senta is very nervous around others and tends to frequently sweat. He usually remains in the background and goes along with whatever is happening around him but will speak up when he feels that whatever he has to say would be helpful. Senta is capable of assessing the situation and makes good judgements as to how to approach them. He dislikes his role of killing people but feels that he has no choice in the matter and chooses to abandon his dream of becoming an artist. After observing Yuzuriha, he becomes envious and enchanted by her innate freedom. Despite his nervous demeanor, Senta is fearless and stands his ground no matter who he is up against.

Shinkai generally has a very laid-back and placid personality. He shown to be very caring; when he ran over a rabbit with his bike, he deeply regretted his actions decided to raise the rabbit's baby, naming it Usakichi. This event also traumatized him badly, so he didn't want to participate in races anymore because he felt his obsession with winning was dangerous. Shinkai rejected the offer to participate in the Inter High as a second year, and only returned in his third year because of the support of his teammates. He enjoys food, as seen by the fact that he is often seen carrying power bars around.

He is now a freshman at Meisou University and a member of the Meisou University Bicycle Club with Juichi Fukutomi, his best friend and a former teammate, and Koutarou Ishikagi, a former member of Kyoto Fushimi / Kyoufushi.

His pose is called "bakyun", often romanized as "BQN!", it is modeled after that of the cyclist, Alberto Contador. He uses it to challenge his opponents by pointing at them, as if he were shooting at them.

Specifically, the First Rain Guardian sold his instruments for a trio of short swords and a single long sword. Yamamoto's Kojirou can Cambio Forma into a similar sword, called Asari Ugetsu.   Weapons and Abilities Asari Ugetsu : Asari Ugetsu are one long blade and three short swords.
