One of 2 main villains of the 1st season of Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman. Subgeneral of terrotist organization called Galactor - works under supervivion of Sosai X (General/ Leader X). At the beginning of the series they are 27/28 years old (date of birth : October 3, 1974).  Specialties: A master of disguise and subterfuge, full of tricks and hidden bombs. A superb escape artist.  Info: Katze is a mutant, created when Sosai X merged male and female twins in their mother's womb. As a result, Katze can shift genders, and spent years transferring between schools due to a yearly gender change until he gained control over this ability.  When female, Katze is said to have an IQ of over 280 (and is sometimes seen in the series as the Female General, or Mala in Battle of the Planets). Katse may also be able to change shape. Katze managed to keep its identity secret throughout most of the series until Dr. Nambu dug up some old school records and documentation, then fit the puzzle pieces together.   ~!Note: While some fans refer to Katze as a hermaphrodite, Katze is actually a mutant who is either completely male or completely female at any given time. Gatchaman Crowds:  An androgynous, mysterious individual who is named after a main villain from the original series. Berg has the power to assume anyone's identity by kissing them, which is used to frame people for various crimes. Berg also displays powers of levitation and teleportation. Both Paiman and O.D seem to know about Berg, who also possesses a NOTE, golden in color with a unique symbol. According to them, Berg Katse is a malicious being whose purpose is to destroy all life in the universe by turning the individuals of the planets it attacks against each other, leading them to mutually annihilate themselves.

Éliphas is a scientist who created Magearna 500 years prior to the events of *Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna*.

He was extremely racist, cruel, and selfish, but ultimately a coward, typical characteristics of super robot villains of the time.    ~!The bastard son of the previous emperor and his mistress, he overtook the throne when he revealed the "hornlessness" of his cousin, La Gour. Driven by greed and the desire for conquests, he ordered his people to create beast fighters as a tool to expand his empire further. His ambition knew no bounds: Under his rule, horned and hornless alike who dared oppose him were imprisoned, enslaved, and executed. He sent Prince Heinel, the son of La Gour, to Earth, as a means of removing a perceived threat to his rule. As time wore on, he sent others to pretend to aid Heinel while spying on him.   When Voltes V and the Big Falcon reached Boazan, the people rebelled against him and the few still loyal to him turned against him and fled. Gennai serves as a guide to the Digital World. He is a mysterious being that the DigiDestined first encounter after the battle with Devimon. He claims to be data, but without the same attributes as Digimon. Gennai appeared first to the DigiDestined as a very old man, but when Kari is possessed by the powers of light and gives them a glimpse of the history of the Digital World, he is seen as a young man wearing a hooded robe that somewhat resembles clothes of a Jedi Knight, apparently one among many of his kind. Gennai and his group were the ones that created the Digivices, Tags, and Crests, as well as choosing the Chosen Digimon.    ~!Soon, however, the Dark Masters discovered their plans, and Piedmon, along with an army of Guardromon and Mekanorimon, invaded and destroyed the secret base, killing all save Gennai. Piedmon stole the Tags and Crests, but Gennai interrupted him by attacking him with a sword. Piedmon inserted a mysterious black ball into Gennai before Gennai leapt into a Mekanorimon and kicked the Bakemon driver out—escaping with the Digi-Eggs of the Chosen Digimon and the Digivices. In the process, he dropped one egg — Gatomon's — which later hatched and grew up alone. The purpose of the mysterious black ball was never officially explained on screen or by any members of the series' production staff. Many fans believe that it caused Gennai to age into the old man he was in the first series.  Later, Gennai's secret base became Myotismon's castle.  At some point after Digimon Adventure, Gennai called the DigiDestined back into the Digital World to ask them to give up the power of their Crests to add another layer of protection to the Digital World, which they did. He did not appear again until the second series, where he appeared as a young man. It is thought that he accomplished this by copying himself, as many more of his kind later appeared in the series, and one of them stated that he and Gennai were once one and the same. It is possible that the people seen with him in the flashback in the first series were also copies of the original Gennai.!~
