He believes his role is to calmly assess Sorey’s behavior and offers frank advice. Due to Sorey’s influence, he is also interested in the ancient ruins. He utilizes water-based seraphic artes.

Rakurou, better known by his nickname "Sunraku," is an enthusiast of Kusoge (shit games); games that are well-known for buggy states, unfair mechanics and awful AI. He is well known by his friends as a Kusoge fanatic and lunatic. Thanks to the skills Sunraku has built up playing such awful games, he becomes a more motivated and better player the crappier the hand a game deals him.

Ryōta Sakamoto (坂本・竜太 Sakamoto Ryōta) is the protagonist of the manga Btooom!. He is one of the top ranking players of the Btooom! game and is the best player on Japan. He is ranked #10 worldwide. He has been nominated to participate in the real life Btooom! game.  He is a regular guy in his twenties. He is of average height and weight. He has light brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a dark gray, buttoned shirt and regular black pants. He also wears a black belt. As any other Btooom! player, he has an IC chip implanted into his left hand. Later on in the story, he wears a black, long-sleeve shirt with a circle design on it. Inside the circle is the word "Btooom!" and the phrase "Soldiers, be ambitious." As seen on the cover of Btooom! 06, the circle design is light blue and the text is white.   ~!It was later on revealed that it was his mother who put him up for nomination, apparently, because she can no longer take his lack of direction and his disrespect for her and his step father, she later on regret what she did.!~

He is a former member of the X Tower champion team Pendragon. His partner beyblade is DranSword. He is an elusive character who declares that "Beyblades are for fun". He is overwhelmingly strong and has an undefeated record, but disappeared as soon as he reached the 'top' of X Tower. He does this in order to fight his former teammate and current champion Ryugu Chrome. He forms the team Persona with [Bird](https://anilist.co/character/305925/Bird-Kazami) and [Multi](https://anilist.co/character/305926/Multi-Nanairo) and takes on the X Tower.

Kirie's childhood classmate. Had fallen in love with Yoriko Endo.
