Kasumi is a Gym Leader of Hanada City's Gym, known officially as the Hanada Gym. She gives the Cascade Badge to Trainers who defeat her in battle. She specializes in Water-type Pokémon.

Kasumi is a friend and former traveling partner of the anime's main character, Satoshi. After he stole her bike and proceeded to accidentally destroy it, Kasumi followed him around the Kanto region, the Orange Islands, and the Johto region, using the time she spent with him to further her goal of becoming the greatest Water Pokémon Master.

Badcock is a forgetful and particular teacher at Luna Nova, whose subjects are Magic Numerology and Culinary Magic, as well as being an assistant to the principal of Luna Nova Academy. ~!She is also very secretive, being a big Night Fall fan to no one's knowledge.!~

Anzu is the childhood friend of Yugi Mutou. She becomes a good friend to Katsuya Jonouchi and Hiroto Honda, though she is not fond of them at first. 

In the first series anime, Miho Nosaka is also one of Anzu's friends. Anzu does not usually play games with Yugi and his friends, though she is once shown beating Jonouchi. In the manga, especially in the beginning, Anzu has a spunky, tomboyish personality, and in the first chapter, frightens Honda and Jonouchi into leaving the room after they bully Yugi. Anzu possesses a very kind-hearted, strong-willed, and supportive personality. In the Duel Monsters anime, she and Honda, are basically cheerleaders for Yugi and Jonouchi whenever they duel, but she has proven herself adept at dueling as well, and usually keeps up with the going-ons of a duel. She is more feminine, polite, and has a stronger sense of faith and friendship for her group of friends, often serving as the mother/sister figure for the boys. She is known among fans of the Duel Monsters English anime for her "friendship speeches".  

Anzu is athletic and holds jobs to save money in order to attend a dance school in New York City. In the beginning of the series, she is revealed to be working at "Burger World". By Volume 4 in the manga, Anzu is fired from that job for punching a customer who had pinched her buttocks. She gets a job at KaibaCorp afterwards and encounters her friends at KaibaLand. In the Toei anime, Anzu, Honda, and Miho work at Burger World, with Miho and Honda working to support Anzu. Once Burger World closes, Honda and Miho work for a beef bowl restaurant. In the opening scenes of the 1999 film Yugi and his friends discover that she works at "Duel Monsters Center," a Duel Monsters parlor. She already knows Shōgo Aoyama, a regular of the parlor and Yugi's neighbor.  While responding to a fan mail asking him why Yugi and Anzu are not in a romantic relationship, Takahashi stated that the relationship between Anzu and both Yugis is "pretty much a love triangle." He added that Yugi and Anzu "always" act in a "very careful" manner in front of one another, so they cannot admit their feelings for one another. 

Anzu's first Deck is a Fairy Deck. It focuses on Light-Attribute Fairy monsters, and spells to enhance them. Her second Deck is a Spellcaster Deck. Almost all the cards are devoted to the Spellcaster theme, like Fire Sorcerer, Maha Vailo and the Dark Magician Girl because of her one-sided love with both Yugis. She duels once in the manga and three times during the course of the second anime series. Shizuka is Katsuya Jonouchi&#039;s little sister. In the manga and the Duel Monsters anime, Jonouchi enters a Duel Monsters tournament hoping to win and use the prize money for Shizuka&#039;s eye surgery. Shizuka sees Mai Kujaku as a role model.

Younger sister of Takaya and Shinya, Miyuki was not strong enough to become a fully functional Tekkaman but not weak enough to die immediately. She was rejected by the Radam and she escaped to Earth to find Takaya to tell him the secret of the Radam invasion.

Kind, generous, friendly, mild elvish princess whose mission is to return back home to Fountain land before the total eclipse of the Sun. Her parents were killed by a monster Scorpion that occupied her homeland. Aboard the Bosco ship she is at first respected as a real princess, but being humble and everything but egocentric, she made clear that she doesn't want guys to call her Princess Apricot, but Apri, a short and convenient nick name which they'll start to use in the first episodes until the end. She is the one that encourages friends to help others in trouble, even though it delays her progress. And often, she notices beautiful sceneries such as flowers, meadows, etc. Her character adds a softer and feminine side to the rest of the crew. She is always ready to help with everything aboard Bosco, and regularly helps Frog with every problem. Apricot and Frog's relationship develops in different way then with Tutty and Otter. Hiromi Haruna is Hiroko&#039;s Mother. Hiromi works in a flower arranging shop. They both love Hiroko a lot. They are also very good friends with the Iwata family.

Rita (Japanese: レイコ　Reiko) is a character of the day who appeared in the episode The Lotad Lowdown. She is the eldest sister of Nicole  and Natalie. She is usually in charge of fixing the waterworks of the garden of the Flower shop. Her Japanese voice actress is Tomoe Hanba and her English voice actress is Amy Birnbaum.    As Rita entered the shop, she was quite surprised by Ash and his friends visiting them. Rita told her sisters that there was a problem with one of the watering pipes of the garden. After the group finished touring around the garden, Rita told Nicole that she needed to replace the broken watering pipe. While the pipe was being replaced, the Lotad come in to help in watering the garden.     Bulbapedia

Alanna met Ash and his friends outside of the Trick House. Like them, she wanted to enter the Trick House contest in order to win the one-year supply of Pok&eacute;blocks. She was accompanied by her Whismur. Alanna seemed to be a fan of The King of Tricks. While May thought he was crazy she believed he was eccentric.    During the maze portion of the Trick House, Alanna got separated from her Whismur. Team Rocket wasted no time to use this opportunity to steal Whismur and give it to the boss. Unfortunately they couldn&#039;t exactly find their way out of the maze.    Soon the group gets out of the maze the same time Team Rocket does. Alanna sees that they have her Whismur. But because Team Rocket were wearing disguises, she thinks that they rescued her Whismur.    Alanna sticks with Ash and the gang through the rest of the Trick House. However they kept getting sabotaged by Team Rocket. They eventually attempt to steal Whismur and Pikachu again. This time Ash and Alanna battled them and send Team Rocket blasting off. Unfortunately none of them reach the end first. A boy named Ivan was the winner.    Alanna&#039;s Whismur develops a friendship with the recurring Jigglypuff, being that it is the only one that does not fall asleep during its song due to its ability. By the end of the episode, Whismur was tired from all the battling and went to sleep. Jigglypuff believed that it fell asleep because of its song and gets mad at it. 

Roxanne is in charge of the Stone Badge, and resides in Rustboro City. She is an expert on Rock-type Pok&eacute;mon, as shown from her name, which may be derived from the word rocks. Her name in Japanese language versions means azalea, but is also an allusion to the Japanese word meaning &quot;throwing stone&quot; (礫, tsubute?).    In the Pok&eacute;mon Adventures manga, Roxanne is both the Rustboro City Gym Leader and an instructor at the Rustboro Trainer's School. She has appeared in &quot;VS. Nosepass&quot; Parts 1 &amp; 2 (Ch.190 &amp; Ch.191), &quot;VS. Shiftry&quot; (Ch.222) and &quot;VS. Kyogre &amp; Groudon X&quot; (Ch.248), appearing as either the Gym Leader of Rustboro (where she supplements the traditional head-to-head challenge with written tests), or fighting against Team Aqua and Team Magma with the other Gym Leaders from Hoenn.    In the Pok&eacute;mon anime, Roxanne is not only a Gym Leader, but also a teacher at the Pok&eacute;mon Trainer's School in Rustboro City, teaching skills she learned as Professor Oak's star pupil. She teaches an introductory course on Pok&eacute;mon to young children not old enough to be trainers. She appears in episodes 291 and 292, &quot;Gonna Rule The School!&quot; and &quot;Winner By A Nosepass&quot;. While &quot;Gonna Rule The School!&quot; introduces Roxanne in passing, it instead focuses on members of her class; in &quot;Winner By A Nosepass&quot;, Pikachu and Ash use a previously learned (and unreliable in the early anime) attack, &quot;Iron Tail&quot;, which Pikachu later uses to defeat Roxanne's Nosepass in a battle for the Stone Badge.She also looks up to Brock as the most powerful rock gym leader.

Vivian is the host of all of the Pokemon Contests in the Hoenn region. In the episode May, We Harley Drew'd Ya, she returned as a special guest judge for the Kanto Grand Festival.  Vivian is the older sister to Lilian, the host for the Kanto Pokemon Contests.

In Having a Wailord of a Time, Stephanie was going to select her first Pokémon from Nurse Joy in Slateport City. However, while Ash, Brock and Max were guarding the starters, the Torchic became impatient, and began running around the Pokémon Center. Eventually, all the excitement caused Torchic to evolve into a Combusken.  Initially, Ash and the others were going to hide the Combusken and use May's Torchic as a diversion so it would seem like nothing would happen. But, fearing Stephanie would choose Torchic, they confessed to Nurse Joy what had happened.  Nurse Joy told Stephanie that Combusken would probably be a bad Pokémon for a beginning trainer to use, so she chose Mudkip. Then Stephanie's father looked into the Treecko's eyes and fell in love with it. Nurse Joy allowed Stephanie's father to bring the Treecko with him, and she decided to keep the Combusken with her at the Pokémon center.   In the Japanese version, she was never given a name. She was only referred to as "Girl" in the credits. Her English name, therefore, likely was inspired by her voice actress' name.   Bulbapedia
