She is Daisuu's editor, as well as an editor-in-chief. She cares about the health of her authors, and tries not to compare other's lives to her own. She is jealous of Daisuu's relationship with Myou, as she considers him adorable and has no significant other of her own.

Masumi Sera is a self-proclaimed high school detective and practitioner of the martial art Jeet Kune Do.
