Tanjirou is kind by nature and has been described by others as having very gentle eyes. His biggest attribute is his ability to empathize with anyone, even demons.

Shu Kurenai is the deuteragonist of the anime and manga series, Beyblade Burst. He currently battles with his Beyblade, World Spryzen Unite' 2B. In addition, Shu is one of the Supreme Four, and a member of the Big Five

Described as a genius blader, Shu is a favorite in his hometown. However, he does not rely on talent alone and is very hardworking when it comes to Beyblade. He is one of the best bladers to ever play the sport, managing to surpass Valt Aoi and win his first WBBA tournament in less than a year.

Shu is calm and patient, and prefers to be alone most of the time. He maintains a cool exterior in front of others, however underneath this lies a burning hot fighting spirit. He is quite standoffish towards people he doesn't know well, with Valt and Xander Shakadera being exceptions. Because of this, he is sometimes seen as aloof and even as a 'spoiled brat', as described by Rantaro Kiyama in the first episode of the anime.

However, despite his usual stoic demeanor, Shu cares deeply for his friends, especially Valt (being his best friend); and will always help them out or give advice to them when they need it.

Akira Shiroyanagi is a high schooler who loves games and Konpeito. He is bored with his everyday life and hence tries out many games hoping to find something to challenge him. This changes when he suddenly is dragged into a battlefield by a mysterious girl who calls herself Mion. The participants are told that they were "erased from the family register, involved in an experiment, and gained certain powers." They then have to compete against each other in varying matches.

Soichirou is a young city councilor with a promising future. He used to be an extremely skilled full-dive RPG gamer and he is the only player to have conquered the "Kiwame Quest". His player name is Kamui (カムイ).

Asakura Hao is the main antagonist in Shaman King and the most powerful shaman in the entirety of the series.

~!He was born Asaha Douji in Japan during the Heian era. During his third life he becomes the twin brother of his descendant Asakura Yoh. During his first life, he was constantly surrounded by the horrors of war and thus saw the world as a grim and dark place, until he met the small demon Ohachiyo, who taught him all the positive aspects of life. As he grew into an adult Hao became a relatively peaceful man who sought to help the people around him, and thanks to him the Asakura Family prospered. However, after an accident involving Hao's first Over Soul, Ohachiyo became a permanent part of Hao and cursed him with the very dangerous ability of Reishi. The negative emotions and thoughts of others were constantly overwhelming him and, since he was unable to turn his Reishi off, the deluge of negativity eventually created a demon inside his own heart. The internal confusion and disorder that was also created eventually led to his desire of creating a Shaman only Kingdom on earth and drove him to become the Shaman King in order to reach this goal. !~

~!In his third and most current incarnation, Hao is usually calm, cruel, and all smiles. The occasions when he is really angry are very rare and when he is angry with someone, that person is usually killed and burned to their soul by his Guardian Ghost. He also likes to watch Shaman Fights, particularly those that involve strong Shaman, and Asakura Yoh. He is not only interested in that, but also claims that when Yoh reached his limit, he will eat him to become the strongest Shaman.!~

At the top of his class in both practical combat skill and book learning, he's the main test pilot for the XFJ Joint US-Japan TSF Development Project, and serves as a member of the project’s Argus Test Flight. His father is Japanese and his mother is American, but he grew up entirely in America and never visited Japan. When he was young, political friction between Japan and America made him the subject of anti-Japanese discrimination. He grew up to hate Japan, and develop a cold attitude that keeps others at bay. Argus often refer to him as "Top Gun". 

Despite his lack of actual combat experience as a 2nd Lieutenant of the US Army, Yuuya is extremely skilled; his role as a test pilot means that he has gained a wealth of experience in putting TSF through their paces and pushing them to their limit, he was viewed as top at every level as a pilot, though his personality left much to be desired, with arrogance and cold attitude towards others caused some to ostracize him and others to ignore him. These were the impetus for the bitter rivalry he has with Leon.

He is a human who at the age of fifteen became the youngest Paladin in the history of the Chasseurs, and having been subject to the bias that all Vampires are inherently evil, has dedicated his life toward their eradication in the name of his faith. 

Astolfo displays psychotic behavior in the face of battle. He relishes the slaughtering of both humans and vampires alike for grievances as petty as being mistaken for a woman. His belief that a Chasseur's duty is not to protect humans but to hunt vampires enables his lust for blood. He has also shown short-temperedness, particularly when called a woman or when his skills are compared to fellow Paladin, Roland Fortis.

Masamune Okumura is a cosplay photographer and the president of the Manga Research Club.

He is a young male student with a firm belief that UFOs and aliens exist. Upon meeting Momo Ayase and taking up on her challenge to see if ghosts were real, Okarun became cursed by a yokai known as the Turbo-Granny and seeks to return to normal.
