She was seen at the end of the anime, helping Winry perfect her skills.    In the manga the only automail she possesses is her prosthetic legs. It is noted that one leg has a Carbine rifle built into it by Dominic and the other a blade. She pickpocketed from tourists to try to pay back Dominic, who lives out in the mountains of Rush Valley with his son, his wife, and herself, for her automail. Dominic always refuses to accept her stolen money. After reforming her ways, she becomes a roofer and Dominic begins to reluctantly accept her money.

She even hesitates to tell Akira this bit of news, though Akira accepts Fumi as she is, much to Fumi&#039;s relief.      ~!She develops a crush on and dates Sugimoto Yasuko early into her first year of high school, but comes to realise who she is truly in love with later on. Fumi strongly though sadly notes that she is the one who always feels the most in her relationships and ends up getting dumped or having her feelings rejected.     As time passes, Fumi realises that she has to stop letting people get the best of her and try stepping up for herself and taking charge of her life. Her development is a slow but sure one, as with the help of Akira and with the burn of several failed relationships, she comes to understand more about herself.    Akira is Fumi&#039;s closest friend and she cherishes her very much. She also forms several important friendships with other students of Fujigaya. Later on, Fumi sees Kyouko as a mature, reasonable and good advisor despite their initially awkward and strained acquaintance. She also becomes very close to the vibrant and bold Oono Haruka. At Matsuoka, Fumi is friends with Pon-chan, Yassan and Mogi who tried to get her to join their club on her first day of school (which she turned down in favour of the Literature Club).     Fumi is still a member of said club even into her second year of high school and has not joined the Drama Club even on Pon-chan&#039;s dogged insistence. She is a kind, helpful, passionate and a very considerate person. She is also a very shy girl and tried to hide her cuteness through her delinquent attitude. She is also multi-talented enough to do everything from acting, voice overs and singing. She always tries her best to reach the expectations of people around her (her agents, directors and friends). She is also a hardworking person with the aim to do everything at her best.
