Ogweno is an ambassador from a foreign land and a friend of Willy Tybur. He serves as one of several ambassadors for his nation during the Liberio festival following the Marley Mid-East War.

Varis is a Scout Regiment soldier who participated in the Raid on Liberio. Varis is a very loyal and trusted member of the Scout Regiment, being one of the few members trusted to help Levi Ackermann guard Zeke Jaeger, and remaining loyal to his superiors even after other soldiers defected to become members of the Jaegerists.

Henry is an assistant to Professor Magnolia, helping her research the Dynamax phenomenon. He is often referred to as by Casey and Professor Magnolia.

Henry was born to a family of swordsmiths and was taught how to repair weapons. He used this knowledge to become a Tool Meister, where he repairs various objects Pokémon use in battle, such as his Lancelot's leek lance or his Twiggy's sticks.

Roark (Hyouta in original Japanese language versions) is Byron's son and specializes in Rock-types. He is also the supervisor of the Oreburgh Mine. His Pok&eacute;mon in the game and anime are Geodude (Lv. 12), Onix (Lv. 12), and Cranidos (Lv. 14), but in the anime, his Cranidos evolves into a Rampardos. When defeated, he awards the Coal Badge to the victor. Before being fought, he must be found in Oreburgh Mine. Soublades is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon. Its body is primarily black, with blue colorations on its head, arms and legs. Its head has sharp pale blue "ears" protruding from either side, and has a fire burning above it that resembles the plume on a knight's helmet. Its eyes have pink irises and wisps emanating from its white pupils. Almost all of Soublades' body is covered in an old dark purplish blue suit of armor, filled with grudges. A plate with three pink indentations on its center covers Soublades' face. Instead of hands, Soublades wields purple-cyan blades created from both fire and ghost energy — specifically, the lingering regrets of the deceased. These blades can grow into great swords in battle, increasing Soublades' power in the process.

Soublades is merciless and will do anything to win a battle. It prefers to do close-quarters combat, with a mix of sneak and surprise attacks. By using its quick speed to locate a foe's blind spots, it will then move closer before slashing them with its large swords. Any cuts from Soublades' swords will cause wounds that leak life energy, which the swords then absorb.
