After enrolling in university, he established a laboratory in Akihabara named the "Future Gadget Research Establishment", where he invents gadgets which tend to be of little use. He often speaks to himself on his cellphone, often not making any sense. Supposedly, he has very few friends that can understand what he's talking about.

An extremely skilled fighter, Cocytus is an expert at selecting the right combination of weapons for the fight, and dealing huge amounts of damage quickly. With the help of his extra arms, he is capable of wielding four of his twenty-one weapons at once, allowing him to deal the highest damage per second of any floor guardian.

Naki is a ghoul who was imprisoned in Cochlea until Aogiri Tree's invasion on the prison. He was liberated by Aogiri Tree due to being a direct underling and supposedly the right hand man of Yamori. He was almost always accompanied by the Twins Gagi and Guge.

He eventually climbs the ranks within Aogiri, and has become an Executive in his own right. The number of Ghouls following him has grown considerably, forming a gang known as the White Suits for their distinctive dressing style. Naki is left handed.

Hitogami is the Man God, having the power to see into the future, and the sworn enemy of [Orsted](https://anilist.co/character/187382). He has a blank white face coupled with a grin that eludes memory, which gives off the feeling that his face is covered in a mosaic. He helps [Rudeus](https://anilist.co/character/88348/Rudeus-Greyrat) throughout key points in his journey.

He is hot-headed and tends to get in fights with both Mitsuba and Yuuichirou.

He is tidy and skilled at cooking. When his friends are unconscious or injured, he is the first to take care of them, whether it be nursing them or giving them his jacket to keep them warm.

Although the other members of his squad quickly refer to each other on a first-name basis, he is the only member the others address with his surname. Kimizuki has very high intelligence and was at the top of his class in all subjects, and regularly earned perfect scores. He earned 100s on each of his Latin, English, and Japanese spellcraft exams. He is on par with Yuichiro on skills of swordsmanship.

A 21-year-old man and low-ranked government official who lived in the same town as Appare. He is a master of cooking, cleaning, and laundry, due to having lost his mother early on and having to take care of his father and sister. He is a straightforward man who is often prone to worrying about his friends, and this often leads to him being led around by Appare. Though initiated into the hantsuki ittou-ryu style of swordsmanship, he doesn't get into fights often. According to his father, he has been promised in marriage to a beautiful fiance which he has never seen.

Guylos seemed to focus more on the Infinities' true purpose of being at Yukon Base, and advised Leon to not get too caught up in his quest of vengeance against Yuuya.

Since he is at least old enough to have met Shito in Shanghai at the end of the nineteenth century, he is probably not human, though as Michiru has not noticed a black ring on his neck he cannot be a zombie either.

Askeladd is the commander of a small but powerful Viking band, which owed its success to Askeladd's exceptional intelligence. Hajime Saitou is loosely based on the real third-squad captain of the Shinsengumi. During the Meiji era, he lived as a police officer under the name of Gorou Fujita. In the Rurouni Kenshin series, he plays the role of Kenshin's old rival and enemy from the Bakumatsu. He has no compassion or mercy for his enemies and he lives by the Shinsengumi code "Aku Soku Zan (悪即斬)," literally "Slay Evil Immediately," but more poetically rendered as "Swift Death To Evil." His signature technique is the Gatotsu, a left-handed thrust and a variation of the Hirazuki technique developed by Toshizou Hijikata, the Vice Commander of the Shinsengumi. Although the Gatotsu is a fictional technique only found within the Rurouni Kenshin series, the Hirazuki is a real technique that was used by many of the Shinsengumi members.

Shinya Kougami is an enforcement officer who is tasked with managing crime. Shinya has a high criminal mentality, but because of his skills as a detective, he was released under the condition that he becomes an Enforcer for the Public Safety Bureau, Unit 1.  Despite his natural grudge towards Makishima, they are actually somewhat alike, as shown in Shinya's ability to foresee Makishima's actions.
