Steven Alan Starphase is Libra's second-in-command. A shady man with many connections, and a genius of deception and intuition. Seemingly laid back, he gives off an air of a suave businessman, always with a quip or sardonic comment to make about the situation. When crossed, however, he shows a ruthless side, and is not above using his connections to make 'problems' disappear. Steven is the middle child in his family and he has at least two sisters, one older and one younger.

A second year student at Shiketsu High. His Quirk, "Meatball," allows him to roll all living flesh up into meatballs, as well as manipulate his own flesh to his liking. He can remotely control his own flesh after detaching it.

Brain is a warrior turned mercenary after he lost to Gazef Stronoff in a grand tournament to determine the strongest fighter in Re-Estize Kingdom. He has brown eyes with blue hair and the appearance of a wild beast. He is equipped with a chainmail and wears a necklace and ring which are infused with protection magic. His whole body is lean and his muscles are tough as steel and tempered through experience.

Originally a farmer, he was gifted with what could only be described as a God-given talent in the mastery of the sword. He has always believed himself to be the strongest fighter inside the Kingdom, having never lost a fight before he entered the grand tournament to decide the King's guard captain. He easily fought his way to the final where he faced off against Gazef Stronoff. A grand and close battle ensued between the two, but eventually,​ he would taste his first defeat at the hand of Gazef.

His fame was shattered and his confidence as an unbeatable warrior took a hit. He then decided to do everything he could to become stronger, so he would truly become unbeatable. At the same time, in order to make a living he started working as a mercenary for the Death Spreading Brigade. 


~!When first introduced he is very arrogant, thinking that he is the most powerful, even though he earlier lost to Gazef. While a mercenary, he suffered a devastating defeat at the hand of Shalltear Bloodfallen when she attacked the hideout of the Death Spreading Brigade. After that, his personality changes drastically. Having his confidence completely crushed and getting a feel of what true terror is like, his attitude changes to one where he is completely depressed, hinting at a suicidal tendency.

He eventually does a complete overhaul after meeting Climb and Sebas Tian. He changes to a much friendlier person that starts to think that strength is more than simply being skilled with a sword.

In his second encounter with Shalltear, he managed to chip off Shalltear's pinky fingernail using Fourfold Slash of Light.

In chapter 59 of manga, during the Ship arc, he is shown to use Japanese Grave markers (Sotoba) as weapons. In chapter 60 of the manga it has been confirmed by Grell that he was a Shinigami. He is now retired and bored, so he creates zombies out of curiosity. Also, this is the first time you can see his eyes. In chapter 82 of manga, it is revealed that he was, in fact, the principal.!~

Benimaru Shinmon is a hybrid Second and Third Generation, as well as the Captain of Special Fire Force Company 7. Benimaru is regarded as the strongest Fire Officer in the Special Fire Force. He is known as "Asakusa's King of Destruction" because of the devastating power that he is capable of unleashing. He is also an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant, as shown when he easily outmaneuvered and overpowered the combined might of Maki Oze, Shinra Kusakabe, Tamaki Kotatsu, Arthur Boyle, and Takehisa Hinawa. He possesses the rare trait of being a Second and Third Generation, which ultimately allows him to ignite his own flames willingly, and also control flames from an external source. He can use his brigade's matoi as a pole to fly to long-distance areas, and by using his Second Generation ability, can control the flames of other ignited matoi and direct them to a certain place. He can control the direction and speed of bullets in the same fashion as Takehisa. He is also capable of unleashing an immensely powerful blast that resembles a crimson-coloured moon, which is strong enough to kill a Demon Infernal.

Benimaru is a practitioner of the iaido martial arts. Instead of using a sword, he can create a sharp blade of flames, a technique branching from his unique Iai Hand-Sword: First Form fighting style.


Touri is the heir to the House of Saiguu, which descends from the Westelande Imperial Dynasty and is privy to some of the Kunie's ancient technology.

He is the Shinigami’s current weapon and Maka’s father. He is very protective of Maka and is ready to jump to her aid any time she’s in trouble (he is always stopped by the Shinigami). His wife is Maka’s mother but they are divorced now due to his constant flirting with other women. Even though he visits clubs, he is still insanely loyal to his ex-wife and daughter. He usually runs yelling about much he loves Maka and her mother (he calls Maka’s mother Mama). He is extremely sad that his daughter hates him but he still tries to be a good father by looking out for her in his own silly way. He used to be Dr. Franken’s partner before partnering up with "Mama" who later became his wife (which obviously lead to the divorce); he still suffers nightmares about Dr. Franken trying to dissect him and still has memories from college when he and Stein were roommates. His old name was Spirit.

The first prince of the Earthworld Empire. He is not regarded for his abilities or personality, and is supported by some nobles solely because he is the eldest son. Has a strong ego, tends to look down on others, and is aggressive in everything he does. Not very fond of his younger siblings.
