Baki is one of the strongest Sand Jonin in the Sand village. He is an important member of the Sunagakure's advisory council and is probably the second-in-command after the Kazekage and is respected throughout the whole village. He is also probably the Fourth Kazekage's most trusted Jonin as he was in charge of the invasion in to Konoha and the team leader of Team Baki, which consists of Gaara,Temari and Kankuro, the Fourth Kazekage 's children. It is speculated that he is very strong, considering that he was the teacher of Gaara who later became the Fifth Kazekage, who is probably in Part 1 and 2 the strongest and most dangerous ninja in the Sand Village.   

Baki is a loyal, kind and respected ninja. With his experience in battle, he holds a lot of confidence. He has a soldier personality, a patriot. A caring and kind person, but if anything comes in his village or country's way or his loved ones, he will do anything to stop it.

Pastor Nick is a member of a religion that worships the Walls as holy.  He claims that he lost his family as a result of addiction to Vine.   As a religious leader, Pastor Nick used his influence to oppose any modification of the walls, be it permanently sealing the gates or even mounting cannons on the top. Duke Everlue is the main antagonist of the Daybreak arc. A corrupted politician, he holds absolute power and influence over the nearby town of Shirotsume.  Everlue is a conceited and selfish man who declares himself to be highly-cultured and superior to everyone around him. He keeps a massive collection of books to flaunt his avid love for literature, though Lucy refers to him as an enemy of literature for blackmailing novelist Kemu Zaleon into writing a novel with Everlue as the main character. Lord Gennon is a high-ranking noble in Chuder. During the early days of the Band of the Hawk, he hired them for a number of jobs. A notorious pedophile, he developed an attraction for Griffith, which culminated when Griffith agreed to sleep with him in exchange for funds to support the growing Band. He is often seen to be attended by many very young male servants, no older than being in their teens. Gennon's voice was done by Masashi Oki in the Japanese version of the original anime and Fred Velde was his English voice actor.   ~!Gennon later rose to become Governor of Doldrey. When General Boscone reveals that the Band of the Hawk's leader is Griffith, his obsession starts to cloud his judgement, which would eventually lead to his defeat. When the Band of the Hawk attacked Doldrey as part of Midland's regular army during the One Hundred Years War, Gennon became so obsessed with capturing Griffith to the detriment of his greater military objectives. Chuder lost the battle, in large part because Gennon overrode the military command structure and took direct control of Chuder's forces, which was all in Griffith's plan. In his final moments, he pleaded with Griffith, telling him that all he wanted was to have him back. This plea fell upon deaf ears as Gennon was killed by Griffith after the main part of Chuder's army fled the battlefield following the death of General Boscone at Guts's hands.!~
