Riveria Ljos Alf is the daughter of Larfal Ljos Alf and the vice-captain of the Loki Familia. Riveria was born in the Alf's Royal Forest as a member of the High Elf family. She lived there for 71 years until she grew tired of her father's negative attitude toward her interest in the outside world and decided to leave. She left the forest with her childhood friend and former personal chamberlain Aina with the help of Finn and Loki. She is also a friend of Njord, as he took care of them before the early Loki Familia entered Orario. 

Riveria has a serious personality. She is one of the only people that didn't laugh at Bell and condemned the others for laughing at him. She is also a strict mentor to the lower leveled members of her Familia, training Lefiya in her studies as a mage and Ais when she was a child. She is calm and collected during the heat of battle, dealing with unexpected events in a leader-like fashion, as shown in the event of the Loki Familia being attacked by large numbers of Virga on the 50th floor. Despite this, Riveria is kind to others, especially to her fellow Loki Familia members, earning her the nickname of mama from Loki. Riveria hates to be called an "old woman" as she punished a 7-year-old Ais, who called her so, by tying adamantite to her and throwing her in water, calling it "swimming training". This later became a traumatic experience for Ais.

Being initially low-leveled, weak, and trapped in the labyrinth, she pleaded [Satou](https://anilist.co/character/124921/Ichiro-Suzuki) to take her with him, going as far as to offer herself as his literal shield. She officially became Satou's slave together with [Pochi](https://anilist.co/character/124912/Pochi) and [Tama](https://anilist.co/character/124914/Tama) after leaving the labyrinth. Her forename is derived from her real name rather than the word "lizard" (at least according to Satou), as her real name is too hard to pronounce for human tongues.

In her day-to-day life, Liza is normally very stern, acting like Satou's loyal bodyguard, a SP (Security Police), or conditioned soldier.

Happy is a cat with some magical power, which may be the reason for his ability to speak. He can temporarily grow wings on his back and fly, and is capable of carrying only one person in this form. Happy apparently can fly at incredible speed (As it took Eligor less than a hour to reach Clover when Happy caught up with him in mere seconds with Natsu in tow) This is also the only kind of transportation that does not make Natsu sick. When asked why, Natsu got angry and exclaimed that Happy was a friend, not a means of transportation, ironically Natsu later gets sick when Gray gives him a piggyback ride when he's injured. He's very close to Natsu and becomes friends with Lucy quickly. The three form a team at the start of the manga. Happy is a full-fledged member of Fairy Tail, and has a member stamp on his back. Along with Lucy, he is one of the saner members of Fairy Tail and often acts as the mediator between Natsu and Gray.  Happy's original name was going to be named Freyr, after a Norse god.
